The mystery of Oak Island just keeps getting more intriguing with every season! The possibility of precious metals leading to treasure is an exciting development that renews hope and curiosity. This new scientific theory could be the breakthrough the team needs. Can't wait to see where this leads in the quest for the island's secrets. Fingers crossed for the team in Season 11, Episode 17, 'Piling On'!💯

C’mon this is cool! I’ve kept us with this show forever and it’s amazing to see this this tunnel so far underground. What in the world was going on here so long ago??

This is very intresting show, I love how the clues reveal more and more about history part - like norse and templar connections and their knowledge and travels to the new world. I hoped the tunnel would be there but it seems that there are only these beams, so where is this cavity that the sonar have picked? Cant wait for more episodes, keep up the good work guys!
Rick Marty , read this! Ross here from the U.P. has it occurred to you guys that before they burned the evidence of the ship in the swamp, they used the Timbers off the ship for the construct of The Money Pit . Therefore the age of the ship has to be added to the date of the digging of the Money Pit. So if the ship was 100 years old it's going to read 1692 instead of 1792!!!
Treasure or not. If you watch it or not. You CAN NOT deny that something of large scale took place on Oak Island. Laginss are very close to rewriting history or adding a missing piece.
Think how hard it must have been to dig that deep, by hand, and encase the tunnel in hand crafted Oak. How long did that take them? And what on Earth was so important, that they had to dig so deep, to hide it? I really do hope that whatever it was, is still there, and that it wasn't recovered, a few years after it was buried there.
Maybe not "treasure" per se, but somebody was doing something way over 100 feet deep beneath Oak Island upwards of one thousand years ago or more. The show is not giving viewers the true dating/timeline of it.
Season 528: Rick Lagina VI and distant uncle Martin Lagina III unearthed a mysterious plank of wood while digging miles out under Peggys Cove. They discovered gold coins dating back from the Mayan era and an old iPhone 4 dropped by a tourist.
I have been living in Albuquerque, NM now since 1991, just appreciate how well you folks treat each other in your search and trying to unearth the history while you work at getting to the treasure, polite, moral, ethical. All the good qualities of my grandparents, etc. God bless you all….
Any naysayers in the comments have to try to explain the point of how difficult it would be to dig 150ft down into the ground by hand & build these structures. Someone did it at one point in history for some very specific reason.
Remember all the structures they found 8 feet "beneath" the beach at Smith's Cove years ago when they constructed the coffer dam? It's further proof that the sea level surrounding Oak island was much lower IN ANCIENT TIMES allowing the original depositors to be able to do all of this construction and I propose that the real/true age or dates of the Carbon 14 testing is in reality much, much older than what they are saying on the show because if these underground workings are said to be very ancient, the Canadian government might step in and get directly involved. At any rate, whatever it is that is buried/concealed deep beneath Oak Island--- treasure or not, is of unimaginable value.
It is amazing the fellowship keep digging up evidences that point to around the 1300's, as it shows the OI mystery is older than most people ever imagined 👍
It's even older than 1300 AD! I've known this all along that the Oak Island mystery is much older than 1300. Silver coin caches dated from the 1100's have been found on Oak island upwards of one hundred years ago and two silver coins as recently as the mid-1960's while bulldozing the dirt to construct the causeway. None of this is mentioned on this Reality TV show. Also, the carved symbols that were on the "missing" 90-foot stone were identified by scholars pursuant to the 1949 treasure publication as being from the Berber (Tifinagh) alphabet with its origin from around the time of Jesus Christ. Oak Island is "ancient".
Good point! And an old mine that is a lot, lot older than what they are saying on the show because of the terms of their treasure hunting license(s) [i.e. any archaeological finds]. In theory, their focus should be on excavating and retrieving the alleged Chappell Vault which was the original target in the first place over One Hundred and Thirty (130) years ago. But if "they" did that, this top-rated Money-Making History Channel show would end.

You get the dendro and C14 dates on those structured wood timbers (pit sawn, gang sawn) ... and I will say that they are post-1600s-1800s. And to find it those wood planks are American/Canadian wood vs French/European wood. There was an old pit saw mill in the Lot 30-32 area, near the old shipdocks/repair/drydocking, which was then moved up to the Lot 5 area (windmill operated (alongside grain mill, klinker fiber crop pounding, and/or klinker rock pounding complex). All of these dates fit into the Baronets of Nova Scotia (1600s-) and all BEFORE the 1783 British Loyalists come to Nova Scotia and Oak Island. It was the 1762 era when a massive explosion of the military and industrail complex on the island was blown to s--t ... and only after that was the island 32 lot surveyed and survivors on the lots lived from post-1762-1783 and then selling out (getting out) to the British Loyalists. All these timbers would be in those 1600s-1762 period. Anything afterward would be 1762-1795 when all of any eastern drumlin mining activities were shut down, and Caspar Weinhaupt, German merchant, owner of the eastern drumlin lots, sold out and left the island. Any mining at depth would have been for limestone, gypsum, bluestone, greenstone, or greywacke (used as grinding stones), and any small veins of blue, red, orange, yellow clays for pottery and ceramics.
Interesting! Oak Island, formerly known as "Smith's Island", was platted in 1762 and people (i.e. the viewers of this show) don't know or realize who the original lot owners were and what their means were of earning a living. Interesting stuff! Public land records would reveal much. I wish Mr. Pulitzer would return to the island for further research.
@@johnwoa Actually we do have the land records, and lot map, which Doug Crowell or other Oak Island peeps have put online (for my research). We know who they were, ~maybe~ somethings about them, and when the multiple lot sales happened ... all before the 1783 British Loyalists came to Nova Scotia.
@@johnlord8337 I learned years ago from a reliable source that possibly two of the original lot owners were privateers (legal pirates) who were commissioned by King George III to plunder enemy ships in the Atlantic and bring the goods back to Oak Island for safekeeping. This might explain all the coconut fibre ("packing material") found on the island as well as the treasure that Samuel Ball found while farming the land.

Who would have ever thought to dig tunnels that deep on an island? it's nuts just trying to keep the water out and they did all of this during the 17th century? insane.
They did all of this WAY BEFORE the 17th century. This TV show is not telling everything to the viewer. The cavern(s) and voids deep beneath Oak Island have been there forever and because the sea level was much lower in the very distant past (i.e. "ancient" times) with access points at the shoreline, activity occurred deep underground when sea water wasn't a problem. Today with the slowly-rising sea level surrounding the island (12 inches every one hundred years), everything is underwater and inaccessible.
Of course the Illuminati and the grey aliens working with the gods of Atlantis and the Girl Scouts figured that this would make a crappy TV show for the gullible.

If you recall, salt water came pouring in the Garden Shaft at around the 60(?) foot level. DUMAS Mining professionally sealed off the water flow in the Garden Shaft with a quick-set multi-urethane."foam"
I have believed since the late-1990's that Oak Island contains a tomb, an ossuary--- the final resting place of someone very prominent in world history and religious in significance. Also, did you know that one of the bone fragments found years ago in one of the boreholes at a depth of 170 feet was from a person from the Middle East and a forensic scientist confirmed that the bone fragment was from a FEMALE! This fact was not mentioned on any of the mainstream episodes but only briefly on one of the Oak Island Top Find Specials.
Why??? Because it was never meant to be recovered. It is religious in significance and is essentially ancient. From the evidence documented over the past two hundred years, it is most probably a tomb that is contained within the alleged Chappell Vault that "they" have been hesitant to retrieve.
Gary found some nothing, great Gary as expected. A piece of metal, omg a little piece of metal OMG - great Gary! Would you please retire now, Gary? Please?
Definitely not planted. The question is.... how did those large beams get down there that deep underground concealed BENEATH all that earth and clay??? I believe the answer would be the sea level surrounding Oak island in the very distant past.
@@allmightygreat1892 Yep! Gary sparkles and is so clean because he washes his clothes in Tide. Why??? Because in Nova Scotia it's too cold out"tide"........ :)
If the knights of Templar buried that treasure" they dug it up & moved it to a safer location after it cooled down for some time most likely far far away" should grid the whole island and metal detect" first to see if any interesting anomalies come up" but hey" I found a quarter in the dryer" 😂
They find a tunnel and their 1st project is pull 1 out for c14. If that was me digging for a treasure I’d be digging right into that tunnel. The hunt is now a produced TV show
I said years ago that whenever they bring out Waffle House Gary with his magical beep machine they really have got nothing. Still after all these years basically nothing.
I can't believe people waist their times watching this, next season spoilers, the will find an old coin and a piece of wood lol, season is taped, if they found anything it would be all over the news long before it airs, I say good day sir!
Have you ever stopped to wonder about all the different tee shirts and hats containing logos that Rick Lagina wears on the CoOI episodes and that they might convey secret coded "messages" to certain viewers of the show???
Maybe ..treasure more than likely taken in the mid 1700s However the timeline of the history being gained on our eastern shores by Europeans will change our history books forever
Wake up it’s one of many off shore banks of the knights Templar . They were the smartest people on earth at the time. There were many places where they did this
Only a fool would think that this is just a series for the family... No one crazy would invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in something that has no results... I am 110 percent sure that when they started this venture they had information that something was still deep underground. In the end, even if they do not succeed in their goal, they have already surpassed everything predicted with their found artifacts
Well anyways there alot of cool history right there lol. So much funny speculation lol, the coconut noir? That was were they pooped for example lol. The arsenic colored sword could have been an authentic officers sword they had molds. Also could disguise a treasure just throw that sword in
Also I heard a story about the arc if its not in there, which it's not, according to the story lol The native american dirty blobs of gold, is the arc lol Either that or one chamber down?
@@user-lk4wt1nx5m You mentioned the sword. I know the story regarding that sword, when it was found and how the Fellowship got it. It was a "ceremonial" Roman sword and not one that would have been used in battle. I believe that the jury is still out regarding the authenticity of that sword. They honestly should have gotten a second opinion on the sword from a European-based expert who is well-versed and knowledgeable on Roman antiquities. The team never did this and a second opinion would have put to rest if the sword was authentic or if it was a modern-day reproduction. Interestingly, if it was authentic, they would have had to turn it over to the provincial government as per the terms of their treasure hunting license(s) [i.e. any archaeological artifacts]. The real treasure at Oak Island and Vicinity is its history!
@@johnwoa that's possible but there was a story of a Roman sword that was black beards faveorite sword and why he located the treasure vault. But once again, "story". And pirates could cast anything molded or in sand. Black beard took there literature and charts when he raided.

I think everyone gave up and went home years ago, and the channel is just showing old clips to keep the charade going.
Exactly! LOL
In my opinion this is a perfect family show.
thank god it's just your opinion
@@gorangasparic8028 You disagree?
Repeat, Repeat, Repeat, Repeat, ..BS ...after commercials more Repeat, Repeat, Repeat
The only treasure find is the HIstory channel milking this puppy for eleven years
Got milk?
The real treasure is the ad revenue and streaming rights. Nothing wrong with that.
The timber beams look like they have been machine cut
Can’t wait for more🔥
I have believed since the late-1990's that Oak Island contains a tomb, an ossuary--- the final resting place of someone very prominent in world history and religious in significance.
Just don’t cross this family…there are plenty of deep holes that you’ll never be seen again…at least until Season 23
Amen you are assuming love you both
Hi there you must be a very old Fan, how long have you been watching the show?
Cheers This is going to change history And reveal something that is going to change History. Why would someone bury something so deep??
Why??? Because it was never meant to be recovered. It is religious in significance and is essentially ancient. From the evidence documented over the past two hundred years, it is most probably a tomb that is contained within the alleged Chappell Vault that "they" have been hesitant to retrieve.
very interesting, they are similar to my contents
They do find nails tho
Gary found some nothing, great Gary as expected. A piece of metal, omg a little piece of metal OMG - great Gary! Would you please retire now, Gary? Please?
all of the time, money, energy 😳
i mean if i dig in my back yard with heavy equipment for years... i i will find a piece of wood or two 😂
These logs must be significant, if they aren't planted by them.
Definitely not planted. The question is.... how did those large beams get down there that deep underground concealed BENEATH all that earth and clay??? I believe the answer would be the sea level surrounding Oak island in the very distant past.
Gary dont get dirty. Gary dont dig. Dont even think of gary picking up a shovel.
It's not in Gary's actors union contract. Others do the digging for him.
@@johnwoa gary sparkles he is so clean.
@@allmightygreat1892 Yep! Gary sparkles and is so clean because he washes his clothes in Tide. Why??? Because in Nova Scotia it's too cold out"tide"........ :)
@@johnwoa ha ha. Never seen him dirty. What .. more sticks mud and rocks. Alex is going grey.
This is like you have to buy a lotto ticket to have a chance to win.
Pleaseeeee stooop
If the knights of Templar buried that treasure" they dug it up & moved it to a safer location after it cooled down for some time most likely far far away" should grid the whole island and metal detect" first to see if any interesting anomalies come up" but hey" I found a quarter in the dryer" 😂
If you found a quarter in the dryer, wouldn't that be considered "money laundering"?
Is there a schematic that shows WHERE the timbers are in relation to the extended hole?
Where is bedrock?
I wonder if they go deeper and thats what the levels looked like?
I saw a later episode and those boards tuned out to be nothing
They find a tunnel and their 1st project is pull 1 out for c14. If that was me digging for a treasure I’d be digging right into that tunnel. The hunt is now a produced TV show
There are infinite episodes to come.
I hope not......
Ho look marty we found a nail
😂
Great Scott!!!
We are rich boy's a solid nail !
In case you're wondering, no.
Test the wood … I bet it’s from a ship …. ❤
A piece of metal? On Oak Island?
There's a hidden message in the name of that company helping down the tunnel
Whats the message
Have you ever stopped to wonder about all the different tee shirts and hats containing logos that Rick Lagina wears on the CoOI episodes and that they might convey secret coded "messages" to certain viewers of the show???
At some point somebody gonna have to just realize that maybe its nothing on Oak Island
Maybe ..treasure more than likely taken in the mid 1700s
However the timeline of the history being gained on our eastern shores by Europeans will change our history books forever
That will happen but they want to squeeze another ten seasons out of it first!
Hello Oak Islanders.
Wake up it’s one of many off shore banks of the knights Templar . They were the smartest people on earth at the time. There were many places where they did this
Hope I get to see some treasure in my lifetime,
What kind of treasure do you hope to see?
And does meeting a Scientist count?
Only a fool would think that this is just a series for the family... No one crazy would invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in something that has no results... I am 110 percent sure that when they started this venture they had information that something was still deep underground. In the end, even if they do not succeed in their goal, they have already surpassed everything predicted with their found artifacts
The real treasure on Oak Island and Vicinity is its history!
This place really is a money pit. 🥴
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I used to watch the Oakland show on TV every night in the beginning of the show They never found ani gold
Except few of Old cons .
I heard that blackbeard dropped a load here, I also heard that the, ark of the covenant? Ended up here. There's definitely something there
I heard Atari dumped thousands of their disastrous ET game cartridges down there!
Well anyways there alot of cool history right there lol. So much funny speculation lol, the coconut noir? That was were they pooped for example lol. The arsenic colored sword could have been an authentic officers sword they had molds. Also could disguise a treasure just throw that sword in
Also I heard a story about the arc if its not in there, which it's not, according to the story lol
The native american dirty blobs of gold, is the arc lol
Either that or one chamber down?
You guys need to hire someone whos 100 and get this over with.
