The pilots, only souls in the plane at the time, requested to do this low pass as a welcoming to the new plane, a pretty common ritual in this cases. Keep up the good work!

That CATIII auto land will make you question a lot of decisions in your life. I'm betting that takes a LOT of training to trust the instruments and AP like that.
By the time you get to perform autolands you are likely to have spent years flying IFR in zero visibility conditions and have grown used to trusting your instruments.
@@icanhaskpop1239 You're FOS. True you're a "passenger", but only in the respect that you're not providing the physical control inputs. Trust me, your brain is VERY engaged during an autopland. As it the other pilots.
It was planned, a waste of money (that my country doesn't have) while putting a multi million dollars plane at risk. All of that with adverse meteorology.
It was a delivery for the new presidential plane, it was not planned: it was "requested" at the last moment. Performing low passes is ok, we all enjoy them... but conditions as you can see were far from optimal (low visibility, raining, other planes nearby due to a storm hitting the area)... They didn't follow the ATC command as well and ignored some instructions. These are the same pilots that performed another questionable approach about a year ago... So it's not the first time they are just reckless...
That zero visibility was at once 🥜 nuts and a true testament to always always trust your instruments. Btw. That go around was because the baby crying was annoying the pilot and he couldn’t concentrate. 😅
If that Argentine pilot had permission from ATC, then I didn't see the pilot do anything wrong there. Great thrust to weight ratio on the 757, it can handle that with ease.
These are good reminders for us to DAILY keep these aeroplanes and their passengers, worldwide, in our prayers. To "BEHOLD", or mentally picture, each one arriving safely at his or her destination, for alertness and wisdom for the pilots and crew. Thank you for this video.

I've never heard of drop turbulence. That said, even the really bad turbulence most people experience doesn't cause that kind of altitude loss. Mountain wave causes more altitude deviation, but it feels like a rollercoaster, not crazy bumpy. The biggest risk of flying that low would be a microburst. At that speed, it would be easier to recover from than if they were at approach speeds.
