Christian - You are a big part of what makes the pro pickleball matches so fun to watch, with your exceptional athleticism, smart play and cool-headedness. You are confident and humble at the same time. Even though you are overall more experienced and skilled than Q, you let him play the left side. You even included a shot that gave Ben the credit. This says so much great things about you including a high EQ. Off-court, I love how real you are. You are not afraid of acknowledging a less-than-ideal shot you made so we can all learn. I'm learning so much from your breakdown of the points, the kind of nuances I will probably never pick up on my own. Thank you so much - Happy subscriber
Dude, we are so freaking lucky to have you in the game. Sharing this type of content. Breaking it down in a way that is understandable. I love that you get excited about your own shots. WHY WOULDNT YOU. You are a student and fan of the game and I truly am thankful for you. Team Alshon.
I really appreciate that Ashlon is transparent in his coaching and his videos do not hold back on what is happening on court. Ive learned so much watching his videos. I noticed that the johns brothers do not open up the play book and kind of do generic videos with little value. Ashlon is authentic i truely appreciate him wanting to help improve others games. Awesome video
@@douglasmurdoch7247 Duong has too many weapons off the left and seems to be generally more comfortable there. Alshon has a better ability to adapt his game to the right side.
@@FinanceFundamentals7 nothings wrong with duong, I’m a fan myself. But Christian can’t impact the game from the right as much as he can from the left. Christian should be a left side player right now, short of with a few partners. There’s only a few players in the world who should take left over him.
Amazing video. Thank you for the great insight. I play with a teammate that’s left handed and I’m right handed, if you could ever go over the differences or how to play properly with a right and left handed player it would be really appreciated!
Amazing video, love watching every match with you and Q. Def my new favorite team. Hope you guys eventually play some PPA events together and take home gold!
I have a good video idea for you that something I need help with and lots of other players need help with too, make a video on how to always be consistent every time you play because some days I’m really on and can’t miss and other days your just not hitting the shots your suppose to hit
You two have been looking really good together. Ben and Collins in games after this seem like they have lost interest in playing. Some times they keep their paddles down instead of at the ready and just generally seem slower. Jack Sock as well seems to bring having trouble. Also, shots seem to still be evolving. Used to just be a third shot drop but now we have the third shot lob and drive as well. There still seems to be a lot of room to develop other shots and strategies. Any comment on that?
Was it Hubbard? I don’t remember, but there’s a female player with a wicked slice return that seems to give a lot of players problems. Why is her return so difficult and unusual?
Mari Humberg. I would say that she's putting an excessive amount of backspin on her returns which in turn makes it harder for her opponents to lift the ball.
@@TweenerKing Thank you. Also not knocking Ben, Collins, or Jack. Was an athlete so I understand highs and lows of a season but also players probably need to adjust with this “new” sport as it changes. Appreciate the inside look and look forward to future videos.

I love this play by play explanation!! ❤ it helps me understand the game better. Thanks
You and Quang Duong should stay together. You have the potential to be a championship team.
Although I do wish they’d put Christian on the left. Despite everything that was said in this video.

@@douglasmurdoch7247 disagree, Duong's two hand counter and speedup is phenomenal not to mention his 3rds and reset are great too

Thank you Christian! Very helpful! Looking forward to more!
Love your videos. Keep them coming!
Awesome! Been looking for a good video to explain more about the left and right side roles.
Superb. Could learn a lot. Want to see this as a PPA team too.
Thanks for the breakdown!
You're welcome
Christian and Quang are a dynamic duo. They should stay together as a doubles team.
Great video! Thanks for sharing
I just watched the replay of this match it was a slaughter.

You did a great job in that match. It helps to have a partner with a good drive to shake and bake.
Thanks!
Thanks Christian! I want to be a better right side player. What should I focus on? Backhand counter?
Hey Christian nice watch what brand is it?
Ps Great video!
hey christian, thank you for the video! I was wondering what grip you use at the kitchen?
You have a lot to say because LW is your coach!
Christian what weight is your paddle? Thinking about buying the bantam TKO-CX 12.7 but not sure what weight to get it at.(7.8-8.2)
