- I have been focused on answering questions that plague Christians and non-Christians. I can't tell you how many times I have been asked, specifically by non-Christians, why I choose to believe the Bible. When I began to walk with Christ truly, I could only answer this question from a purely emotional position, like many of the answers the Pastor gives here. However, after studying scripture to get to know the sovereign God of the universe and His plan and purpose for our lives, I found that the emotional position is insufficient. Let me be clear: the position was inadequate to undertake the great task before me.
For this reason, I believe Christians should be able to give a well-thought-out, reasoned response for the hope within them. I believe God calls us to be able to respond and equip us with His Word to answer this question. Answering this question is not specialized training for the theologian; it is not for the Christian philosopher; it is to be the answer in the mouth of all believers.

Thank you for clarifying regarding this subject. While I was thinking over the addressed subject and talking it over with my Lord, King, Master, Savior and Redeemer, Whom is and will forever be, Jesus Christ, something came to mind. It’s not that we can’t believe, because we are all witnesses of all that is. So, if it is not that we can’t believe than the problem lies within that we don’t want to believe. We have taken first chair, the chair that only belongs to God. What we need to do is humble ourselves. Jesus is Lord, He still is, that hasn’t changed. I am praying for the return of many. May God give all of us sight to see the only way to see, through His holy eyes.

I love to love the truth n tell it . Often none choose to EXCEPT much conversation on the issue. A Muslim man befriended me . Said he needed a Christian friend to talk to time to time. He always wanted me to pray. He said he like how I pray. But he PROMPTED Muslim messages.
I PROMPTED Christian.
Then noticed his character change to a degree.
After his saying I'm a real brother a few times. He decided to send odd quotes from old testament. No question, no remarks, just out of no where stuff no relating to anything. But sent as odd concerns, maybe even indicating possible threatening more hostile responses as mentioned.
Cant expect all to EXCEPT it.
But if GOD GIVES TIME ENOUGH FOR IT

There have been Godly men down through the ages that had a low IQ and preached God's word and got it right everytime. The problem with high IQ people many think too highly of themselves.
The reason Paul didn't was his killing the Christians humbled him after Jesus blinded him on the road to Damascus. Before that he thought too highly of himself. Being intelligent doesn't prove anything.

It's clear you don't understand the concept of foreknowledge. I think your conclusion is accurate: " Let us be very, very careful, lest we be found liars before God." I detest the way Calvin's teachings have been co-opted by the ignorant, who also don't understand foreknowledge or predestination; however, overcorrecting to the point of becoming a liar is no different from what they do. Voddie Baucham has never stated the scenario you listed, and I believe he would strongly disagree with your statements.
