Its true that guardian tales is not for everyone and is not that populr cuz its barely advertised like me i found it through a friend who sadly quit but what got me attached ro rhe game is its interesting gameplay and its very deep story that brings people to tears with it's sad or happy things that happen. So even if it is dead I will never stop playing unless it has been shutdown or I die that is how loyal I am to guardian tales.
Same. While i have fears of toxic community if the game ever gets into mainstream media, GT for all it offers deserves much more attention that it already has. However, with the way Guardian Tales is going, i am hoping that if we ever get to the end of the line after a decade or so, that they will eventually port the full game after the complete story as an offline version, like what Rockman x Dive did (with online features becoming optional rather than a necessity, should they choose to keep multiplayer aspect alive). I would be more than happy to purchase that, and i hope this will also get more people into trying out GT.
I don't see that Guardian Tales died because the game was originally unpopular from its first release + the company must make advertisements for the game to increase its popularity, in addition to improving some things such as reducing fan service (focusing on female characters) and improving some things in the game. I think this will contribute to the spread of The game is very popular + I started playing the game in May of 2022. I have two accounts and perhaps I will create a new account. It is a very wonderful game and deserves attention :) (I use the translator, my English is bad. Sorry if there are mistakes)
I agree that there are way too many female characters, and with the way they are presented, I think it's causing issues and driving people away. I would like to see more male characters just to offset the ratio of females because it's actually starting to make them boring.
I agree with the female heroes part. The game releases too much female characters and the way they are presented is just not right. I mean, its perfectly okay to release femalw characters but man present them in a non-fanservice way! Examples of these are Marina, Plitvice, and Lapice. They are not necessarily sexually presented but one can still find them attractive without those "parts".
tbf not everygame should be chasing mo, ney. it should just stay a passion pro, ject. i just want more con, tent. but the game just need adv, erti, sing.
Frankly speaking, the game, despite its simplicity and beauty represented by its simplicity, does not deserve to be thrown into the basket of oblivion. I hope that interaction will return to what it was without the need for events to bring in players. Rather, it should be due to the content present in the game.
I also liked the point of short stories or the story missions mode. It really gives the game a more exploratory character and also gets to know more characters and more events.
my suggestion for the game would be Custom Challenge basically you make a stage, whether it is puzzle or boss fight or whatever, that you can publish to public. so that the community can contribute to the game
It's more like on how the developers need to generate with a pixilated side scroller is much harder than it is compared to other popular gachas games there are out there. The tech is too limited
I honestly think Guardian tales would have worked better as a simple $9.99 completed game. The story is interesting and playing a finished product would be a lot more fun.
It would be nice if they add more Side stories That will help And better Advertisement Because all the Advertisement For the game are awful If they make good ads That will definitely help A lot
Yes, because the developers themselves don't seem to want to make money. Players in Korea have given interesting suggestions 1. Guardian pass with a Super Costume prize or a reworked Guardian Pass 2. Jumping package sold every month 3. Super Costume that can only be purchased through paid diamonds but the developer replied to them, we don't want to be like that (lol) I think the current condition of Guardian Tales is very sad because the old content has been cut and replaced with some new content, for example: - Tetis hero which is a very boring feature. -Expedition content that is not rewarding at all - Events that are very monotonous even until there is a deadweek they always says that they don't have the man power to create stories as fast as they used to, but indirectly they also don't want to make money. If that's what you want from the start, why make a gacha game? Better make a premium game at all.
Aren't all these suggestions just saying make guardian tales pay to win because collection is a very important thing at top level so pay walling them isn't a good idea in my opinion
@@Bhavesh099. Yes that true, the most appealing factor of GT is the story. But the downside it only centered around knight. The other heroes only got short story.
I've stopped playing GT for obvious reasons (lack of content, yada yada yada you know the drill) but i still love game even after stop playing it, its my fav gacha game for a reason but still, the main problem like the 3 things you mentioned in the video are still gonna be an issue, if the devs arent actively trying to fix that problem. then its just the same as before, we're back at square one and its going to loop if they keep doing it like this ofc i dont think they'll do that, i do have some faith in them and that they're trying really hard to improve the game while handling the pressures from the community as for the solutions, i think in order to get more revenues from the players. the only logical way to do it is to decrease the amount of free rewards they gave to us this game is well known for its extremely f2p-friendly but its also its biggest weakness as it makes people less wanting to spend any money in the game if the devs can jusy give them for free. so i think decreasing it would solve that problem, but ofc it'll be very controversial since that means they're going to go with the genshin route, but slowly for the better of the game's economy as for the contents, i feel like they should've listen to the community of what they wanted, sure the newer contents can be enjoyable but not all is for everyone. infact i've seen quite alot of people disliking or straight up hating the new content because they think its just another boring content that they dont want. hence if they listen to the community and the community collectively agree on a new content, it can solve both problems but i can see as well how this can go wrong lastly, i think they really need to advertise the game so badly, this game needs more player and player to stay. and i hope in S3 they started to like idk, do some kind of advertisement since i heard from somewhere that they will promote the game when S3 arrive, but we'll see if thats going to happen or not but yeah, i honestly dont know either how long the game will stay, but i hope the game can create amazing things and gets better as the time goes on. i geniuenly dont want to see my fav gacha game died because of these issues But i respect the GT devs for handling the game to what it is today, their job is already tough but the community pressure just makes it harder for them. so i have an advice for the community and that is to support the devs and dont let them go into the wrong path Great video as always btw and im looking forward to the future of this game...
I started guardian tales back during Covid. I was having a breakdown and depression at that time. And GT helped me go through that time. Playing games indeed to some extend is good for mental health.
I'm actually worried the game will die before a proper ending. It's one of the best mobile games with the best story and characters for me. I really want to see the main story finished and new content made but it can get cancelled because of the low popularity. Devs really should do something about this because they are basically just shooting themselves in the foot. They already had a game that died and it doesn't seem like they've learned anything
As one of early player,Gt truly are hidden gem because how f2p friendly it is and a lot of mechanics gameplays was added, plus it doesn't pressure me to continue the story after I have enter season 2.I hope that the will add more side story to tell a story about others characters like Eugene actor story ,marian school and Nari folkstory. There are a lot of unique Characters that can have their own story turn into content for player to engage beside reading they own background info
I dont think the first reason being "too f2p friendly" is one of the case why the revenue is low... browndust 2 is way too f2p friendly give more than 100 pulls a month u can max out character within less than 200 pulls and it making 2 millions $ a month also in bornwdust 2 each month u can buy a selector for f2p and get the character u already have and u can buy bp with free currency and is not expensive at all u can buy new character and more u get 4 free pulls a day and to get a character in gacha is 3 % and the shop is not worth it to spend and yet they are making a lot of money. I do agree that GT might have lack of content after all bd 2 have constant update with new spicy ecchi character so guardian tales at the end of the day need to make something spicy and worth it imo guardian tales is lack of advertisement and promote their game I never heard it until week ago
If ever there will come a day Guardian Tales will meet its end, i hope the devs make it offline playable. At least we can still play it despite no internet connectivity, and even add "Lan" or whatever that thing that allows you to connect with nearby people(?) without internet.
4:38 How dare anyone demand nerfing my Queen!? Seriously tho, not selling SCs is such a missed opportunity. Moreover, lacking the capability of setting a certain character/scene for a homescreen wouldn't motivate ppl very much to buy a SC even if they could. They could generate serious profit w/ this alone, which could help finance development of their main content (or even expand their team to improve workload), too.
5:59 Yes actually. The ad that got me to the game was an ad about the guardian shooting a "not chain chomp" and dying. I kept getting it over and over.
I honestly think that them going to the Horni Route isn't helping. They should just make every outfit based. What got me into the game was literally Oghma and the story made me stay for a while.
A big main issue I find is that it is WAY too META heavy Farming focused. I play it because of the story. I maxed out a team and only come back every couple months to play the new chapters. Not that many people are passionate about big numbers alone.
Those first two points are very true, but I would go farther and say there's another "problem" on top: There's nothing for whales for spend money on. I used to spend quite a bit of money on GT; at least several hundreds a year. Seasonal packages, the monthly discount one, the pass, stamina packages etc. Now I can't even remember when I last spent money at all. It's not because I don't want to, I'd be happy to buy a good package, it's just that there's no reason for me to spend anymore. My item collection is complete, my hero collection is nearly complete, I have all the super costumes, I'm sitting on tons of awakening stones, I have 100k gems banked up and a mass of mileage tickets. Even if I wanted to spend money on GT to get stronger, I can't. There's nothing left for me to get. And it's not like I spent tens of thousands of dollars on it, I just bought a few packages here and there over the years and played casually.
7:26, ya about that, even if tetis hero is new the thing that ruins it was that auto mode. like after you clear it. it's auto mode. so basically no reason to play it just another button to give you stuff. After tetis s1 they kind fix most of the problems. its still hard but its better then before, its more like Orbital Lift.
They're probably making it a per season story update, although 2 whole months is like quite long for a story update with about 5-10 mins of story. And honestly, i wish they kept kamazone's story and put it down to the lower difficulties instead of gatekeeping it on the highest difficulty in random events.
I really want this game to survive, the quality they put on story mode is so great that it engages me so badly. I really loved the huge twist starting from world 9 and upwards. It's insane how a pixel game gained my attention and surprises me with their content and it's quality. I like how they put so much effort in making not only the characters so likeable, but also the npc's.
stopped playing this game long ago due to lack of content, but what (for me, atleast) exacerbates said issue more is that GT actively demands you to play it as a main gacha game. For the uninitiated, a "main" gacha game is a gacha that requires long hours of play to finish dailies/demands short, yet frequent log-ins on a daily basis, the term also applies to gachas that consistently barrages you with series of grinding events and the alike. GT actively wants you to treat it as a main game by consistently logging in, doing dailies/colo/grinding resources for no reason other than the fact that grinding is so tedious, not difficult, tedious. Combined with the overall lack of content + videos on new heroes being more on the subjective side rather than objective as people love to shove "Waifu>Meta" arguments in this game as if it was balanced to begin with leads to elitism. Another complaint that is usually thrown by many players is that the difficulty curve is unreal, which i do agree with. The fact that you can blitz through w1 to w10 only to get hardwalled at w11/w12 is ludicrous, not to say that i got screwed over by that but it goes to show how incompetent the level designs are on this game, which their form of remedy is to nerf each world (usually when said world gets released to JP). Another thing that made me quit was the lack of freedom when playing through the story. While i do get that playing as the knight makes it feel more immersive i value gameplay more than story, i'm sorry if i hate playing it due to the fact that the character you're forcing me to play as feels clunky/slow when they aren't even using a heavy weapon. While i did found these issues to be less noticeable ever since they stuck with Libera Type-B, it still feels clunky compared to other characters of the same rarity, which they are adressing that yet again with giving the knight an ascended form. As for advertisement, Kakao isn't really the best at promoting the games they publish, in Korea they don't need to since Kakaogames is a subsidiary of a literal internet company there so whatever they publish will be known by the public. Fan-Made content for the lack of a better word has been dry, i'd check at bilibili but then i remember GT peaked there a long time ago so i doubt that there is anything new from the Chinese side of the playerbase.
One of the reasons why I wanted to play this game is the videos on RUclips. But damn, the main problem is not even the lack of advertising - banners on RUclips. But the fact that it is not presented in the store at all - they have several banners that simply do not say anything. That is, I do not understand what kind of gameplay awaits me, I do not see these wonderful pixel animations, and most importantly, at least some hint of a plot. And as the author noted, pumping a hero requires a lot of time, but the game has a lot of resources. And here is the standard scheme for earning money in similar projects: either you are harshly pressured for lack of resources, or you need a lot of time for this, or both together. This game is just from the category of if you want faster - pay (at the same time, yes, you can spend free gems for something like this, but then you will have limited resources) and with a chip of limited resources for pumping abilities.
Soledad It's a keeping for the lonely Since the day that you were gone Why did you leave me Soledad In my heart you were the only And your memory lives on Why did you leave me Soledad
As a switch player, I think one of the solutions (challenge stages) is kinda already in switch thanks to Season Achievements (I believe they were on mobile as well previously). They last a whole and have many different challenges to beat (beat tower stage 70 with only beth, no hit holy night, spend 1500 coins in kamazone etc), and it reuses old stages and minigames which is a good thing (well not that many minigames yet). Season Achievement 1 just finished and then a second one immediately came over which means more new contents (very nice) for 2 months. There aren't any actual new contents but its a good way to play more without them adding new contents. Also the fact that it's the one of the few free games on switch means that broke people (like me) will just randomly scroll in the free section of the e shop and decide to download the game since it doesn't advertise itself as a gacha nor does it look like one, and then "ah I've played this game for 200 hours". Alhough yeah I agree with a lot of your points especially advertising.
the economy problem 1: If it was not like this i wouldn't play it XD I play time to time Genshin, but i stop every time BECAUSE if i want a chracter, i can't obtain it... the economy problem 2: Yeah, but if you can't build the hero while playing, the game would just be bad, like the 1rst point it would take the game from F2P friendly to P2W in a way that, in my point of view, is unplayable for long period, maybe just me thought... Lack of new content: They have talk about it in season 3's preview, they plan to make a 3 month cycle with new content every month, don't know if i cope with the hope that they will be able to handle it, but if they do then this would help with that. ads: 100% agree. suggestion: - for the super costum, with the fact that it is no more obtainable (for now), i think that making them cost something is good, but I think that for this, they need to make them more often, I have already all of them so... yeah, they have to make more of them so that this method is worse something. - minigames content: in a way they already planned it, they have talk about doing a content arround Lana's race and it was teased in world 18 with a dialog, also the rest is made as guild arcade, not all of them are available but some are. - Chalenge stage: good idea, nothing else to say - short story: it is include in the 3 month scheldule The game really need to be more advertiding, but for now we will have to wait for the release of season 3 to now if these problem will be solve, Personally i don't plan to stop playing the game, I have 2 account and i plan to make a third to test the begin of the game with season 3 modification, i pay at almost each collab (just to be sure to obtain all the character / waypon, and there are 2 that i didn't obtain from the dragon quest one, and i really enjoy the game, so I hope that it will not die before the story comes to an end.
@@RanceeelGT If you ant more information about their plan (that are huge, but we will see some of it in the next KR update) , they present it in the live Symphony tales 2:the princess and you
Your suggestions are great I hope they have more content and I was worried if the game would die or not If the game dies there is no ending of Guardian Tales if not I'm happy the game is still alive. I started playing Guardian Tales I think, last month on April 2023 and I was still playing until my friend quit the game because of that World 11 passage but still playing the game I love the story and everything I wish they added more fun gamemode for the future and they need a pity system I mean WE NEED IT!
If GT have thousand of fans Im one of them If GT have hundred of fans Im one of them If GT have one fan That's me If GT have zero fan Im probably dead No matter how sh8y this game goes, I'll still play it 'til it's EoS. My only entertainment that helps me back my sanity during pandemic days.
8:28 about selling super costumes... i saw that in Honkai Impact 3rd how this works for premium skins (with add or changed effects in the animations): 10 prizes in each roll, the best prize will increase its sucess rate after every failed attempt, which removes the prize you already got, but the price for every attempt is increased too (can cost from 0 or half ticket to around 35-ish tickets, in the hero/weapon banner, in you are jinxed), but if you fail, at least the prize isn't that bad, like 5 tickets to try on weapon gacha, 2000 weapon resonance, used to buy some outdated weapons or as resource for meta-like "acessories", called stigmata, at g3 (used as equivalent EX for specific characters) and g4 category (equivalent EX and one of the best for characters that fit type condition, like ice with burst mode, fire focused in burn, electric that do certain actions in combat...) after certain amount of patches, they introduce those "premium skins" as something f2p accessible at the temporary shop at appears from time to time in every patch... but like, you will need to wait for a year or two if you want throught that but any sort of global buff that has there is just character/battlesuit collection and their grade, not from EX/signature weapons or skins here... well, the entire problem is the fact that the super costume was already f2p accessible, somehow, so if they want to make something like that with super costumes, it must be for newer ones, so they can avoid problems with older players that couldn't get them plus, remember that super costume still have +0.1% attack for each one you got, so they need to remove those newer skins from account progression, like how they already do with crossover character's gear and skins or this may reduce the motivation or the newer players, since they won't be able to complete in the future because of those +7~10% atk/hp/def locked behind being whale
Guardian Tales is like a Saint in the cruel world of Pay to win Like seriously the resources dungeons allowed me to fully level up a character to 95 WITH ONLY 1000 COFFEE IN LEVEL 30 EXP STAGES
I've been playing nonstop since the original Slayers collab...so like 2 years now. And while Slayers was my first love, I really did come to love GT itself, the story really captivated me because it has Slayers' weird mix of silly and serious. But I just still can't hit diamond 1 in arena. I could accept that if it was a matter of skill, but I've done my research, I've scoured RUclips and Reddit, and asked some vets, I make sure I'm playing on super stable connection with a controller. I think it really just comes down to those costume collection bonuses. I's frustrating and it's really the only thing that makes me want to stop playing. Although as in your video, more story content is always good, I finished Nightmare world 18 the day it came out though 😭 I really just wish they'd normalize arena more. They don't have to flatten stats or anything, but I'd even wait longer for better matching. Let the whales all fight each other. I say this as a nearly-whale who just refuses to drop $$ on stupid digital costume pixels. Or to get even weirder, you know what I would pay $$ for? More training room slots, or like a 1-week "boost" where I get all max collection benefits or something. Weird ideas, but I'm trying to think outside the box of "make everyone equal!" because while nice in theory, that really would kill their revenue. The $80 Season 3 world completion package is laughably bad. Gems guarantee you practically nothing, I don't need more stamina, I need DPS.
Guardian Tales could easily be made by two to three people, plus external purchases. Meaning $40000 a month would easily keep it alive and thriving, anything lower than $25000 would mean the game would be going on life support. game is doing fine for now. the problems lie in investor returns though
I really love this game, however you're still right mentioned the game's problems, i feel disparity between the packages price and packages rewads, the package are expensive considering the bonuses are very easy to obtain if you play short time.
9:30 we actually kinda have this but 🍑 its stamina gated... Yup im talking about expedition (i take your suggestion as rogue-lite gameplay and i think expedition is fit with that category) And my suggestion is they should remove that stamina from expedition so player can challenge over and over again without worrying about stamina If they didn't want player spending 24/7 on that they can bring back the entry system from world exploration into expedition (y'know the princess order stuff and maybe 3 or 5 free entry per day where player can save it until a week)... And i think they should remove the stamina gated too in tower content... My reason (as a f2p player and in the mid game) for that suggestions is i feel like can't play the other stuff (non pvp related) stages coz everything is stamina gated I want play the tower thing it's use stamina Expedition yeah stamina again And i need that stamina for other important stuff like evolution dungeon, the hammer dungeon (i forgot the dungeon name) Yeah i know they give us 50 or sometimes 70 daily stamina in mail but it's not enough for me coz we need mostly 15 stamina for entering one stage
So, am I the only one patience enough to grind for weapons for free without spending money / using money speed up grinding? I feel far more likely to spend money in GT than any Hoyo game I know so far, except for HSR, it is special uwu If anything I thing they lack of advertisement, and they need to teach pleayers how to *abuse* the game, aka, paying for coffee to accelerate your progress and improve their packages. Adding pity system would also encourage to send more. Oh, *and add splash arts for every character's skin...* You know, _people are thirsty, they need more water_ e.e
I remember when I played the game years ago. 💀I quit it due to the imbalance of characters (inverted months of game's time in a character that later turned out to be useless) and the lack of more cooperative horizontal content. I had recommended them making minigames as you said, to play in cooperation with the Guild, and what they did was create minigames that were only played solo... Like, everytime you would suggest one thing, they made it in the least adequate way possible 🥲Most of the horizontal content was badly implemented. And that type of content is the most important because it is what you will see every day, and what hooks players once they finish the story. I don't know how things have changed now.
I feel like the giant issue for guardian tales is marketing, i found it by chance and app store page didn't really set it apart from any other games, yet when i did play it, it was tons of fun, I've been playing since world 8 was the last world with 5 accounts and during that time i haven't heard a single youtuber even mention guardian tales besides a bloons TD guy named tewty, and that video got really bad views, guardian tales just needs to put more money into marketing and get the word out else it'll stay as a never niece gacha game
I just need an update like multiplayer story cuz i think its will be fun when u are doing story and puzzle with ur friends . Ofc after they fix the multiplayer and connection issue first :)
In my opinion they should also make many money packs cost very little money, the most expensive being at most 5 dollars since with the expensive ones that are some prices more than one would think "For all this money it is more worth it to buy another game directly" and since they give virtual rewards in themselves they would not lose much and in the process they would encourage many players to buy the packs
*Hella long rant ahead:* I used to play GT some time ago, but eventually stopped. So, I suppose I can share some thoughts about it, keep in mind that I haven't been active in the game for over 2 years so take this with a grain of salt. I began playing GT early on when even i think World 11 wasn't out yet. This gave me a bit of an advantage as I could quickly catch up to new content asap and work on heroes in a simpler way compared to starting now and having plethora of heroes to dump resources in compared to back then. I wasn't necessarily a whale since some packages seemed overpriced but I did occasionally bought the $10 packages offering a hero of choice and an EX weapon of choice as these seemed very fair price for what you got. The main issues that led me to quit GT was the lack of new content. The Heavenhold Tower and Tower of Horizon were the most enjoyable content for me by far, I remember struggling and getting frustrated with challenges like Heavenhold Tower bosses and some puzzles being a pain in the butt. However, once you beat it, there was a long wait until you could experience such content again. Orbital Lift felt like a time gate until a new world release to get more levels or an specific hero to carry you over specific floors, World Exploration was fun initially but was beaten quick and turned into repetitive auto-farming. Kama-zone was enjoyable, although some seasons were heavily reliant on RNG, personally i enjoyed being challenged in difficult worlds like before the nerf of Worlds 10-11, which were extremely hard until certain heroes made them a joke, looking at you Kamael. While the game was fun, it became stale after a certain point as you've mentioned, most activities felt like logging in just to tap 'Auto-farm', the arena's time gate system felt completely unnecessary, waiting about two months for a new world to release, in the end the only new content you got was a new hero every two weeks if i recall?, which you probably would have enough gems/mileage for and yeet it into the Training Room if you were an old player/whale. I still have a strong affection for this game and often think about returning to it, however, the repetitive nature of it it's what pushed me away, plus I gotta admit i genuinely miss the lore of the game, I consider GT a hidden gem when it comes to story. Fun fact, i actually got into this game because of an ad i found on youtube once and the only one i've ever seen, and guess what? It was a false advertising one lol, it was the one that made the game look like Zelda Oracle Of Seasons/Ages or Link's awakening and being a zelda die hard fan myself i actually downloaded the game, you can find the ad searching "Guardian tales old epic ad.", funnily enough the game was way better than i expected. I guess in the end, we can all agree that the one to blame is Kamael. It's always Kamael.
I got into this game in the weirdest way possible. There is a archetype in yugioh called labrynth, the lore is of a female knight entering lovely's labrynth and the fanart is so cute and people would put fanart of the female knight from this game and yugioh together and was like yo what is this game and i got addicted ever since :) i began playing april 2024
even if they only added more story and nothing else I would be fine with it tbh. One thing they really need to change in GT is difficulty spike. most player probably drop the game at world 11 because the game is just too difficult. the spike from 9 to 10 is fine but 10 to 11 is like trying to climb a mountain. P.S. being very F2P friendly is far better than not because f2p players will be more likely to keep playing if they know their character will be obtained eventually, witch means that people will likely just move on with their character if it's no longer useful.
The developers should simply show more advertising on RUclips or social media like they did with the Switch release. That can have a big impact. GT forever❤❤❤
El problema fue la publicidad yo fui de los primeros en verla y si son muy bonitas y atrayentes lo malo que no hay mas literalmente este juego esta sobrevendo a base de los creadores de contenido o antiguos jugadores.
Hopefully not I started since day 1 and stopped a year ago fully. Not because it's bad, but because I just simply got bored of it I don't want it to suffer and die alone, and hopefully people actually play this
The thing I stress the most about guardian tale is my character power, currently Im on roughly arround a mil defense for a character since 2 years(I only discover the notebook % after a year), when I look at the recent pvp channel all of them is above 2 mil. So I don't really know when will I be-able to reach the pvp youtuber stats and it kinda bug me sometimes, everythings else is fine
I'm typically an Arknights player but I did play GT for about 2 years too, like 2020-2022 For me, Arknights has the right idea with the gacha side of things, so when compared to Arknights' massive popularity, what I didn't like is as follows: -Game is too generous, and the grind is too extreme. On paper this is good to keep the players motivated to keep playing but I got literally almost every character in that 2 year time. As a collector, this was good but what I didn't like is not being able to use everyone I got because the grind was so massive. Heavily lowering the amount of gems received could help, giving players time to build a character before they get another. Also, make character building costs cheaper. It's not fun having to grind for so long to use a character. -Characters aren't interesting. Idk how things are lately but back in the day every single good character would all just either deal a ton of damage or be essentially immortal. There was no flavor to it. I wish to see variation between them, like some characters doing better in certain scenarios whereas others would struggle, more than just the element thing. Granted, for GT's style of gameplay in particular this might be hard to do, but looking at MOBAs or top down RPGs like Hades could help for some ideas of what I mean. -More gameplay variety. This was mentioned in the video too, and actually to connect it to my previous point, reworking Kamazone to be more like Hades could be fun, as well as maybe making a MOBA gamemode, with each player picking a character and fighting eachother on some large map. Ofc a lot of things could work, imo the devs need to just think outside the box and not be afraid to experiment. -Ads. Another point made in the video but I wanna add that players won't ever play your game if they don't know about it. Guardian Tales is a gacha, and as such is bound by the laws of money. And advertising is the soul of capitalism after all.
I just started playing this game 1 month ago, I'm on world 15 and I love this game a lil too much. The storyline is too good and the gameplay is also fun. I'm not bored of this yet and I think l'm gonna play till the end just for the story :)
Love this game, I just hope they make enough money to make it to the end. I also wish there would be some sort of offline version of the game eventually, once it dies no one can ever play it again because the servers will be gone. What I truly want one day is a non gacha game version of GT as the story and characters are so good (I can take or leave the gameplay).
@@RanceeelGT @RanceeelGT First of all, i hate how they change season 2 story to made me only play Knight on the story just whyyy... if only they just add like some new mechanic in the gameplay (spell, arcana or something) , or maybe like new world exploration where all player could meet in some places to interact, on god bro it would be dope and will never be boring again, Also maybe they could create some new cosmetic (glasses, mask, or maybe hair) on the game so player could having fun on grind something to get it... It's pretty cool right, they wasted it... Instead of making some cool and refreshing update for old player to relax 💆, they making update for new player to nerf world 11 😁
Well it's kinda true that those moments might be a problem for the game from the marketing point, but... They are also the reason why I liked GT and played it for so long. F2P friendly, comfortable pacing that doesn't eat a lot of my time and an interesting story. That made it stand out compared to those other action gachas. But it looks like the devs are working on those 😭🤣
They have poor marketing. Their biggest market is in Japan, but it'd be hard for them to thrive there for too long because the gacha market is oversaturated there. I think there's a good case to be made they'll do well if they try their luck increasing their marketing in SEA or South America, which I've seen are pretty popular there. Also, there's not a lot of events, nor a lot of side stories, which is understandable because they're a small studio and they rely on in-game cutscenes rather than VN-style cutscenes like in other gacha games. I think they did good on the last event where they relied on VN-style cutscenes for a short event.
This is a must share and like this video Dear Ranceeel you are Amazing for GT content❤ keep it up we will not stop play gt ever in then end we die ❤️ Kitty already spend monthly pack for gt every months still enjoy 😀❤️💙😊😉
I just downloaded the game again. If I remember correctly, it did well financially in the last month. I love the game for its story, humour and gameplay contents although pvp gets stale quick.
I totally agree to this i just started the game last month ago, my friend in the internet keep talking about it! And i was like what's good about that pexil game, those kind of games are boring. But after i tried i regret what i said and I don't think I'll be quitting anytime soon i still need to know what's gonna be the ending
I am not an English speaker, so sorry if I write something wrong or hardly to understand. Once said that I will continue with my opinion. I have been playing GT for around 2 years and something that I notice is that the game modes are so short thar you barely enjoy the characters that you get. The characters in this game have skills that you have to press but you barely use them, just in an few game modes such as: co-op,story mode and raids, the problem with these game modes is that in story in you completed everything there is no need to play go there since you dont get anything and also if you want to play a character is very dificult because you have to eat the whole city without being able to test you character after reading or skiping all the dialogues, and also the fights are so short. Co op is very anoying because you will be playing with other people but that is no the main problem, the main problem is that if you get a character and want to play it, you usually want to see how strong it is and in Co op that is very dificult because there are other people around doing damage and such. Raids are very good but you only can fight one raid por week which is anoying if you already defeated them and get a new character, in that case you cant test it in raids because you already done it. Towers are okey but with the monster thar are pink that can be damaged by hits o abilities is kind weird because every character can do that, so it doesnt show how strong you character really is. Where i want to get with all of these is that there a few games where you can enjoy your characters whether due to you dont play them with the skills and movements or because you can test them without any reward (story) or every week (raid). They need to add a solitaire game mode such as: dungeons or orbitals lifts where you can control your chatacters with all the skills and movements.
Thanks for the video, I like how you explained why i play GT and respect Kong in the first 4 minutes of the video. And yes more cheaper packages may get more people on the hook( as bad as it is but live service can't survive without support from the players). Personally i find Tesis hero war way to boring(i find all auto-battlers boring) and just a worse version of kamazone with probably better UI. In term if stories Kamazone seasons added new story every season until they ended(sadly), i mean the story behind kamael's super costume is there and many more i really enjoyed playing through them(but stumbling on the story piece when you had the artifact needed was frustrating), and i think that was a one of many good ways to add new stories(sadly gone for who knows for how long). Tesis hero war is disappointing to me in another way wich is the visual novel approach to tell a story and the pixel art holds the main visual appeal for me. I agree about the addition of challenging content, it's kind of what season achievements were(are, where is the next one). And now that they decided to not increase the max level above 100, maybe they can add the option to make all the existing tower level and stages at the appropriate difficulty for a lvl 100 characters without the worry of readjusting them later( i really want to do the soli beth Heavenhold tower achievement from season 1 again) the same goes for expedition( now that they are changing it to be challenge content), allowing players to re-experience all the expedition content at appropriate challenge for a 100 lvl characters, and hopefully make the timers optional for a greater challenge so more players can use whatever party they want so they can progress with the story off expedition ( i thought it was great). 🥔
I did saw an ad for this game one time and that was how I found the game in the first place if they didn't advertise the game with an ad of the game then I wouldn't be playing the game and enjoying it to the fullest
The 2d hack and slash idea is really cool, i would like to add mine too, like each stage you clear there will be a card that will help you just like kamazon, choose 1 of the 3 card below
Real the NO PITY reason makes me not want to spend my money I rather spend it on other games that I also play. And also there's no much thing to do as an endgame player.
I've wondered why not Kong inclined to make use of those countless game-in-games in the story and sub stories??? to me, they are like making games just to dispose of. of course that goddamn cursed Lana isn't it.
i was total agree with basically i live in India lot of don't know about the guardian tales and its concept they say this is a child game but they don't' know about the game story
Guardian tales is one of best games! Good gameplay and Heartwarming story! Mostly the World 10,11,12,13,16,17 and 18! I can never leave this game till the end of the game's story! I wanna play World 16 and 18 again but the replay story is now available for those worlds! 😭
This is one of two gacha games I will never quit. I love it because it is so f2p friendly and not to mention the story is so wild and captivating. I'm truly sad that I am unable to support them through money and sharing it to others is hard as well because they already have games like genshin and star rail. Other than the insane difficulty spike in world 11 and 12 along with some bad puzzle designs, there really isn't anything that makes me hate this game. Now, regarding your review; I completely agree that guardian tales need to advertize their game more so it grows in playerbase. I just hope it doesnt become stingy with it's rewards like some gacha games **cough** genshin **cough**
I am one of those guys that started playing GT since launch until 2 years later, barely finishingthe anniversary event I love GT, I loved it too much, to the point where I left my phone running whileI sleep for the night and having the Fire Evolution Dungeon on auto start when the sweep feature was not there yet I 100% everything and it kept me on continuing with the frequent 2-week update, which was enough to max evo a new hero, but not limit break However, before the 2nd anniversary came, I had a realization... When I wake up, I use my replenished coffee in dungeons... 12 hours later, I do the same and to arena, colosseum, team death match, kamazone, guild raid, etc etc Sleep, wake up, coffee, 12 hours, dailies, sleep... Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, until the 2-week update comes It became stagnant and almost brain rot that you just do the same task every single day I quit GT after the 2nd anniversary... I even uninstalled it to save storage space Although, I did return for the Isekai Slime collab just to get the limited characters... But even if there are plenty of Story Mode to do, I couldn't bring myself to do it for some reason Fishing was fun though. But the pet area didn't attract me enough. Expedition is as grind-y as the dungeons etc To be honest, I think the only thing that could actually bring me back to GT is an Open World feature. We already finished Season 1 and Season 2 after all, perhaps after completing the Hell difficulties, open world would be opened? Also, an interconnection of worlds where players can meet each other, not just in guilds... Or even a Town Guild Square like certain guilds are in one area or street and players can visit each other I think that will be the only time I could go back
The game needs advertising, I literally have not seen a single Guardian Tales ad in my life
Just Hack the popular TV channel or event and then show them the Guardian Tales😉
Game mechanic sucks
@@dedsussybaka4619 they don't suck, you just gotta work with it, you also have to get used to the controls
I actually came to Guardian Tales from a 5up sponsor on one of his December among us videos.
i actually played gyardian tales because of the ads in 2020 they are kind of good
honestly, guardian tales is only game that i have stayed with for very long time and is like a comfort game to me but i do wish it had more content.
Nah, i still gonna play it even if everyone forget about GT.
Yep, me too

Its true that guardian tales is not for everyone and is not that populr cuz its barely advertised like me i found it through a friend who sadly quit but what got me attached ro rhe game is its interesting gameplay and its very deep story that brings people to tears with it's sad or happy things that happen. So even if it is dead I will never stop playing unless it has been shutdown or I die that is how loyal I am to guardian tales.
Bro we are the same.
Yes they need more advertisement. It is a good game and better than other gacha games so they need to do more advertisement
yea exactly, the only reason i even got into the game was through a friend's recommendation... llike bro it NEEDS advertisement what are they doing...
I hope guardian tales's future doesnt end like dungeon link
Must be terrible since i've never heard of dungeon link
LOL. There is barely any fanservice. other gachas got straight up dating events.
tbh i think majority of the community appreciates new female characters but deep inside are definitely waiting for another male character to release
tbf not everygame should be chasing mo, ney. it should just stay a passion pro, ject. i just want more con, tent. but the game just need adv, erti, sing.
If this game where playable in pc without the need for an emulator... that would be awesome fr
It is, but currently only the KR server. It's available on the google play PC beta client.
You can play on Chromebook but Chromebooks suck
yeh the we, st is obsessed with pc
Frankly speaking, the game, despite its simplicity and beauty represented by its simplicity, does not deserve to be thrown into the basket of oblivion. I hope that interaction will return to what it was without the need for events to bring in players. Rather, it should be due to the content present in the game.
I also liked the point of short stories or the story missions mode. It really gives the game a more exploratory character and also gets to know more characters and more events.
my suggestion for the game would be Custom Challenge
basically you make a stage, whether it is puzzle or boss fight or whatever, that you can publish to public. so that the community can contribute to the game
The game have this unique pixelated style that ironically is the major factor why the game is unpopular too haha
Terrarian and stardew valley also pixel but has the top sales on steam
pixelated style has nothing to do with this
It's more like on how the developers need to generate with a pixilated side scroller is much harder than it is compared to other popular gachas games there are out there. The tech is too limited
@@agustdofficial8945 That's the thing, those are steam/pc games whereas gt is only tied on phones and switches
@@agustdofficial8945 also terraria's and stardew's dev(s) are pretty touch on with their community, unlike guardian tales' devs
I honestly think Guardian tales would have worked better as a simple $9.99 completed game. The story is interesting and playing a finished product would be a lot more fun.
It would be nice if they add more Side stories That will help
And better Advertisement Because all the Advertisement For the game are awful If they make good ads That will definitely help A lot
Yes, because the developers themselves don't seem to want to make money.
Players in Korea have given interesting suggestions
1. Guardian pass with a Super Costume prize or a reworked Guardian Pass
2. Jumping package sold every month
3. Super Costume that can only be purchased through paid diamonds
but the developer replied to them, we don't want to be like that (lol)
I think the current condition of Guardian Tales is very sad because the old content has been cut and replaced with some new content, for example:
- Tetis hero which is a very boring feature.
-Expedition content that is not rewarding at all
- Events that are very monotonous even until there is a deadweek
they always says that they don't have the man power to create stories as fast as they used to, but indirectly they also don't want to make money.
If that's what you want from the start, why make a gacha game? Better make a premium game at all.
Anjay ada bang underbroad
I didn't know about that. Wow this game is kind of funny after I look at that informations
Hero barunya gitu-gitu aja, skilnya ngak ada variasinya. Padahal kalau bisa buat mekanik baru mungkin lebih seru
I've stopped playing GT for obvious reasons (lack of content, yada yada yada you know the drill)
but i still love game even after stop playing it, its my fav gacha game for a reason
but still, the main problem like the 3 things you mentioned in the video are still gonna be an issue, if the devs arent actively trying to fix that problem. then its just the same as before, we're back at square one and its going to loop if they keep doing it like this
ofc i dont think they'll do that, i do have some faith in them and that they're trying really hard to improve the game while handling the pressures from the community
as for the solutions, i think in order to get more revenues from the players. the only logical way to do it is to decrease the amount of free rewards they gave to us
this game is well known for its extremely f2p-friendly but its also its biggest weakness as it makes people less wanting to spend any money in the game if the devs can jusy give them for free. so i think decreasing it would solve that problem, but ofc it'll be very controversial since that means they're going to go with the genshin route, but slowly for the better of the game's economy
as for the contents, i feel like they should've listen to the community of what they wanted, sure the newer contents can be enjoyable but not all is for everyone. infact i've seen quite alot of people disliking or straight up hating the new content because they think its just another boring content that they dont want. hence if they listen to the community and the community collectively agree on a new content, it can solve both problems but i can see as well how this can go wrong
lastly, i think they really need to advertise the game so badly, this game needs more player and player to stay. and i hope in S3 they started to like idk, do some kind of advertisement since i heard from somewhere that they will promote the game when S3 arrive, but we'll see if thats going to happen or not
but yeah, i honestly dont know either how long the game will stay, but i hope the game can create amazing things and gets better as the time goes on. i geniuenly dont want to see my fav gacha game died because of these issues
But i respect the GT devs for handling the game to what it is today, their job is already tough but the community pressure just makes it harder for them. so i have an advice for the community and that is to support the devs and dont let them go into the wrong path
Great video as always btw and im looking forward to the future of this game...
True, After years of hiatus, I am finally on season 2.
There are a lot of unique Characters that can have their own story turn into content for player to engage beside reading they own background info
bro cooked with the editing 🙏🔥
@TheAleggs I mean.. browndust 2's fan service is..
But yeah, maybe there is another thing beside f2p friendly that causes GT doesn't have much revenue
@@RanceeelGT yeah maybe they need to do that too lol
If ever there will come a day Guardian Tales will meet its end, i hope the devs make it offline playable. At least we can still play it despite no internet connectivity, and even add "Lan" or whatever that thing that allows you to connect with nearby people(?) without internet.
Even if gt dies you still can upload many content
Maybe a story teller your editing skill also very good
4:38 How dare anyone demand nerfing my Queen!?
Seriously tho, not selling SCs is such a missed opportunity. Moreover, lacking the capability of setting a certain character/scene for a homescreen wouldn't motivate ppl very much to buy a SC even if they could. They could generate serious profit w/ this alone, which could help finance development of their main content (or even expand their team to improve workload), too.
i just came back and see many new heroes design now is so lewd, it just didnt feel like guardian tales before
5:59 Yes actually. The ad that got me to the game was an ad about the guardian shooting a "not chain chomp" and dying. I kept getting it over and over.
I also got an ad
I downloaded GT few days ago and speedran through ch 1-9 easily but i broke down in tears going to 11-6 lmaoo
10/10 experience I love this game now
I honestly think that them going to the Horni Route isn't helping. They should just make every outfit based. What got me into the game was literally Oghma and the story made me stay for a while.
imagine kong actually balances the game

Lack of new content: They have talk about it in season 3's preview, they plan to make a 3 month cycle with new content every month, don't know if i cope with the hope that they will be able to handle it, but if they do then this would help with that.
ads: 100% agree.
suggestion:
- for the super costum, with the fact that it is no more obtainable (for now), i think that making them cost something is good, but I think that for this, they need to make them more often, I have already all of them so... yeah, they have to make more of them so that this method is worse something.
- minigames content: in a way they already planned it, they have talk about doing a content arround Lana's race and it was teased in world 18 with a dialog, also the rest is made as guild arcade, not all of them are available but some are.
- Chalenge stage: good idea, nothing else to say
- short story: it is include in the 3 month scheldule
The game really need to be more advertiding, but for now we will have to wait for the release of season 3 to now if these problem will be solve, Personally i don't plan to stop playing the game, I have 2 account and i plan to make a third to test the begin of the game with season 3 modification, i pay at almost each collab (just to be sure to obtain all the character / waypon, and there are 2 that i didn't obtain from the dragon quest one, and i really enjoy the game, so I hope that it will not die before the story comes to an end.
I see, I hope their plans go well 🙏

Your suggestions are great I hope they have more content and I was worried if the game would die or not If the game dies there is no ending of Guardian Tales if not I'm happy the game is still alive. I started playing Guardian Tales I think, last month on April 2023 and I was still playing until my friend quit the game because of that World 11 passage but still playing the game I love the story and everything I wish they added more fun gamemode for the future and they need a pity system I mean WE NEED IT!

No matter how sh8y this game goes, I'll still play it 'til it's EoS. My only entertainment that helps me back my sanity during pandemic days.

about selling super costumes... i saw that in Honkai Impact 3rd how this works for premium skins (with add or changed effects in the animations):
10 prizes in each roll, the best prize will increase its sucess rate after every failed attempt, which removes the prize you already got, but the price for every attempt is increased too (can cost from 0 or half ticket to around 35-ish tickets, in the hero/weapon banner, in you are jinxed), but if you fail, at least the prize isn't that bad, like 5 tickets to try on weapon gacha, 2000 weapon resonance, used to buy some outdated weapons or as resource for meta-like "acessories", called stigmata, at g3 (used as equivalent EX for specific characters) and g4 category (equivalent EX and one of the best for characters that fit type condition, like ice with burst mode, fire focused in burn, electric that do certain actions in combat...)
after certain amount of patches, they introduce those "premium skins" as something f2p accessible at the temporary shop at appears from time to time in every patch... but like, you will need to wait for a year or two if you want throught that
but any sort of global buff that has there is just character/battlesuit collection and their grade, not from EX/signature weapons or skins
here... well, the entire problem is the fact that the super costume was already f2p accessible, somehow, so if they want to make something like that with super costumes, it must be for newer ones, so they can avoid problems with older players that couldn't get them
plus, remember that super costume still have +0.1% attack for each one you got, so they need to remove those newer skins from account progression, like how they already do with crossover character's gear and skins or this may reduce the motivation or the newer players, since they won't be able to complete in the future because of those +7~10% atk/hp/def locked behind being whale
Guardian Tales is like a Saint in the cruel world of Pay to win
Like seriously the resources dungeons allowed me to fully level up a character to 95 WITH ONLY 1000 COFFEE IN LEVEL 30 EXP STAGES

Although as in your video, more story content is always good, I finished Nightmare world 18 the day it came out though 😭
I really just wish they'd normalize arena more.
Meaning $40000 a month would easily keep it alive and thriving, anything lower than $25000 would mean the game would be going on life support.
game is doing fine for now.
the problems lie in investor returns though
this game is too generous for its own good
I really love this game, however you're still right mentioned the game's problems, i feel disparity between the packages price and packages rewads, the package are expensive considering the bonuses are very easy to obtain if you play short time.
9:30 we actually kinda have this but 🍑 its stamina gated... Yup im talking about expedition (i take your suggestion as rogue-lite gameplay and i think expedition is fit with that category)
And my suggestion is they should remove that stamina from expedition so player can challenge over and over again without worrying about stamina
If they didn't want player spending 24/7 on that they can bring back the entry system from world exploration into expedition (y'know the princess order stuff and maybe 3 or 5 free entry per day where player can save it until a week)...
And i think they should remove the stamina gated too in tower content...
My reason (as a f2p player and in the mid game) for that suggestions is i feel like can't play the other stuff (non pvp related) stages coz everything is stamina gated
I want play the tower thing it's use stamina
Expedition yeah stamina again
And i need that stamina for other important stuff like evolution dungeon, the hammer dungeon (i forgot the dungeon name)
Yeah i know they give us 50 or sometimes 70 daily stamina in mail but it's not enough for me coz we need mostly 15 stamina for entering one stage
So, am I the only one patience enough to grind for weapons for free without spending money / using money speed up grinding? I feel far more likely to spend money in GT than any Hoyo game I know so far, except for HSR, it is special uwu
If anything I thing they lack of advertisement, and they need to teach pleayers how to *abuse* the game, aka, paying for coffee to accelerate your progress and improve their packages.
Been playing since it's release, I'm sad that the old game modes are gone but I'm hoping it will be better in the future
Your channel is great. The editing is amazing, the story telling is decent. 9.5/10 video
Solid video, I agree on most points. Long live the princess! (Tired af so gonna sleep)
*Hella long rant ahead:*
I used to play GT some time ago, but eventually stopped.
Maybe they just waiting for season 3 and boring to current events
Hopefully not
I started since day 1 and stopped a year ago fully. Not because it's bad, but because I just simply got bored of it
I don't want it to suffer and die alone, and hopefully people actually play this
The thing I stress the most about guardian tale is my character power, currently Im on roughly arround a mil defense for a character since 2 years(I only discover the notebook % after a year), when I look at the recent pvp channel all of them is above 2 mil. So I don't really know when will I be-able to reach the pvp youtuber stats and it kinda bug me sometimes, everythings else is fine
Through heaven and earth i gonna play GT forever even when i old
They can make the buyable packages content more eye catching & many than grinding for many months
I'm typically an Arknights player but I did play GT for about 2 years too, like 2020-2022
For me, Arknights has the right idea with the gacha side of things, so when compared to Arknights' massive popularity, what I didn't like is as follows:
-Game is too generous, and the grind is too extreme.
Unironically should add character relationship stories. Only motivation to pull a character right now is it being strong.
I just started playing this game 1 month ago, I'm on world 15 and I love this game a lil too much. The storyline is too good and the gameplay is also fun. I'm not bored of this yet and I think l'm gonna play till the end just for the story :)
GT is one of two games that never got deleted from my phone, I just love it
Love this game, I just hope they make enough money to make it to the end. I also wish there would be some sort of offline version of the game eventually, once it dies no one can ever play it again because the servers will be gone. What I truly want one day is a non gacha game version of GT as the story and characters are so good (I can take or leave the gameplay).
The only problem is, they always delayed update, and also too much focusing to create trash content (farm, pet battle) like wtf is even that.
Ikr 😭
@@RanceeelGT @RanceeelGT
First of all, i hate how they change season 2 story to made me only play Knight on the story just whyyy...
if only they just add like some new mechanic in the gameplay (spell, arcana or something) , or maybe like new world exploration where all player could meet in some places to interact, on god bro it would be dope and will never be boring again,
Also maybe they could create some new cosmetic (glasses, mask, or maybe hair) on the game so player could having fun on grind something to get it...
Rumours surrounding season 3 seems to be doing that exactly, straight up killin the game.
I hope they make Guardian Tales 2, i played this game since launch and quitted during Garam banner.
Means you left the game before even release of world 7?? Then what have you played in Guardian Tales??
@@apexpredator7040 idrr what was w7, but i quitted during Garam banner the fox guy, at that time i think i played atleast the Future Princess story

I just downloaded the game again. If I remember correctly, it did well financially in the last month.
I love the game for its story, humour and gameplay contents although pvp gets stale quick.
great video bro , "too f2p" isnt really a problem but the economy defenetly is hopfuly the new change to the summon system might help
I totally agree to this i just started the game last month ago, my friend in the internet keep talking about it!
And i was like what's good about that pexil game, those kind of games are boring. But after i tried i regret what i said and I don't think I'll be quitting anytime soon i still need to know what's gonna be the ending

Same bro, everytime I replay world 1.. Damn that nostalgic feeling really hits hard🥲
@@RanceeelGT fr tho i hope s3 will give the same vibe
its hard to scratch or close the game , the best they could do will prob make the game into single player
the story is actually great
I am not an English speaker, so sorry if I write something wrong or hardly to understand.
Of course I would keep on playing the game
I can't just leave Lil Princess
Even if we're F2P, the best way to support the game is by watching the ads for rewards in the store!
Pity is a trash engine for gacha. Makes the game stupidly pay to win and therefore unfair
I've wondered why not Kong inclined to make use of those countless game-in-games in the story and sub stories???
to me, they are like making games just to dispose of.
of course that goddamn cursed Lana isn't it.
they haven't fixed the checking newly downloaded resources glitch yet
Kong studio need hire you as their game consultant
i was total agree with basically i live in India lot of don't know about the guardian tales and its concept they say this is a child game but they don't' know about the game story
and it game style
Guardian tales is one of best games! Good gameplay and Heartwarming story! Mostly the World 10,11,12,13,16,17 and 18! I can never leave this game till the end of the game's story! I wanna play World 16 and 18 again but the replay story is now available for those worlds! 😭
I mean (Not available)
Also, Kong Studio is having a new game project. Much likely GT is gonna still alive to maintain their income until their new game released :/
I'm strongly disagree with point #1, r1999 even considered more f2p friendly than GT, but it seems doing pretty good
I am one of those guys that started playing GT since launch until 2 years later, barely finishingthe anniversary event
I love GT, I loved it too much, to the point where I left my phone running whileI sleep for the night and having the Fire Evolution Dungeon on auto start when the sweep feature was not there yet
I 100% everything and it kept me on continuing with the frequent 2-week update, which was enough to max evo a new hero, but not limit break
However, before the 2nd anniversary came, I had a realization... When I wake up, I use my replenished coffee in dungeons... 12 hours later, I do the same and to arena, colosseum, team death match, kamazone, guild raid, etc etc
Sleep, wake up, coffee, 12 hours, dailies, sleep... Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, until the 2-week update comes
It became stagnant and almost brain rot that you just do the same task every single day
I quit GT after the 2nd anniversary... I even uninstalled it to save storage space
Although, I did return for the Isekai Slime collab just to get the limited characters... But even if there are plenty of Story Mode to do, I couldn't bring myself to do it for some reason
Fishing was fun though. But the pet area didn't attract me enough. Expedition is as grind-y as the dungeons etc
To be honest, I think the only thing that could actually bring me back to GT is an Open World feature. We already finished Season 1 and Season 2 after all, perhaps after completing the Hell difficulties, open world would be opened? Also, an interconnection of worlds where players can meet each other, not just in guilds... Or even a Town Guild Square like certain guilds are in one area or street and players can visit each other
I think that will be the only time I could go back
for content we are going to get season 3 soon and hell mode has been announced now we just need to know for when
