Been down to n.c. twice taking supplies there. Anchor Ridge Ministries out of N.Wilksboro N.C work primarily in Appalachia region all year. They are still needing people to roll up sleeves and dig in,cleaning and retrieving belongings plus need help in their warehouse.

Many of these people aren’t getting help from gov. But from volunteer groups, Operation Blessing and Samaritans Purse. Understand Amish groups from PA went down and were helping build these sheds and tiny houses to get people out of tents which don’t offer protection from the cold.

I watched a report from a young woman organizing help for those impacted by the hurricane. She voiced concern that mainstream media is not reporting the degree of devastation from this storm. She said we are being lied to. She said the number of cadavers is 10,000. She was very upset that the true numbers are not being released. She is organizing people to continue with SAR, getting supplies donated to people, hands to actually do physical clean up and search. This was far worse than people can imagine. They are going to need help for a long time. Praying for all affected. Mr. Hilton could you investigate the truth regarding the number of casualties, reasons that there was slow walking of FEMA, Military help, why wasn't military that is specifically trained to do mountain tough terrain warfare and rescue. They would have been experienced and could have got things done more efficiently and quickly. Thank God for We the people.

Last night I heard someone said they came upon a large pile of trees, brush etc. Whe there group dug through it an entire community was under it. Also there was a large homeless community which is just gone😢 and will probably never know who they were❤
Last week I saw some teams with cadaver dogs deploying along one of rivers to search for bodies. There are areas where the entire river channel and lakes that are full of debris and silt. Cadaver dogs will be searching for sometime prob after every large rain.

I still have to wonder if something was engineered to make this storm so vast and destructive beyond any prior experiences.
Maybe I'm missing something but wouldn't it be more efficient and practical to try to evac the people from their homes via helicopter or dirt bikes use drones. Temporary Tents and heaters.
