Great review, mom! I'm ordering one for myself and my 10 year old son. He has high-functioning autism and would only let me send peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with him for his school lunch. It has been the summer of taste! at our house, because, we have been trying new foods together. I vowed that this school year would be different and that he will not have pbj for lunch everyday at school!

The bentgo fresh is about an inch longer and taller(more depth). It takes up most of the room in the lunch box. It is definitely is meant for adults or teens. We used the bentgo kids for years but my daughter is going to middle school. So we upgraded to the larger box this year.
Yes, the Bentgo Fresh is meant for teens or adults. My Kindergartener has used the Bentgo Fresh before (just because she wanted to test out the new box), but it was really big for her and I didn't fill it up all the way.
I had the bentgo kids for my boys but I will be upgrading them to the bentgo fresh. It's nice and spacey.I bought the grey ones. The bentgo kids looks bigger than it really is but I still love it too.

Sorry for so many questions. The back hinges on the bentgo fresh are they sturdy I am looking to give either this or yumbox for Christmas presents Thanks
No problem! The hinges on the Bentgo Fresh do seem sturdy to me, but note that they are different than the hinges on the Yumbox because there are basically two pieces of plastic connecting the top part and the bottom part on the back. The Yumbox keeps the two halves of the outer shell closer and has the hinge kind of along the edge of the two halves. I hope that makes sense. I have used our Yumboxes a TON and never had any problems with the hinges and I have not used the Bentgo Fresh as regularly so I can't speak to how well the hinges hold up with frequent use.

Would you recommend the bento fresh box more or the easy lunch boxes
It all depends on what you like to pack! Personally, I use the EasyLunchBoxes more frequently because I use them for myself, my husband, and my daughter as well as for storing leftovers and for other uses around the house. However, The Bentgo Fresh is a really good size if you have a large appetite and it is also leakproof!

How much food does each compartment hold?
Can you fit the bentgo fresh in the pottery dual?
Can u compare it to yumbox as far as which one u think is more durable even if u don't have the tapas size. So many thanks
The Yumboxes and the Bentgo Fresh seem equally durable to me. However, the Bentgo Kids seems more durable than the Yumboxes because it has a non-slip grip and the outer shell of the box seems very sturdy. I hope that helps!

I actually don't have the yumbox tapas so I can't compare! One thing I do know is that the Bentgo Fresh has a removable divider so that the large compartment can be split into two compartments, while the Yumbox Tapas does not have a removable divider but does have two different tray options. I guess it depends on what you like :)
Great video and The box looks great. I didn't know they released a new one. Is the inner tray and outer shell both dishwasher safe like their bentgo kids box? Please checkout my last video I just compared a lot of containers.
Sorry for the late response! The inner tray is dishwasher safe, but the outer tray should be hand washed because of the rubber seal. It may get damaged in the heat of the dishwasher. I will check out your videos!
