Hey, just catching up on the vlogs today it been a really hard week. I just lost my mom. Always love ur vlogs and the kids.
Coming from a person who had semi bad eczema as a kid telling any kid not to itch will make them itch it more and with more aggression. If it's eczema please know the itching can be painful only relieved by itching with nails. Also the cream the drs give babies to heal make it a lot more itchy.

Do you know how to make walking tacos?
Tiny bag of Doritos cut sideways put on cooked ground beef that already has a taco seasoning on it. Pour in cheese and ready to serve. You can also add sour cream or glaucoma but doing that will make it a lot messier. Perfect snack for toddlers and children.
Usually my school used shredded cheese. Nothing like an old school favorite to snack on.

I celebrate May 5th because it’s my anniversary. This year was my 40th wedding anniversary. When we got married back in 1984, Cinco de Mayo was not as prevalent (at least not in Wisconsin). We now live in Texas and it’s a bit more mainstream.

I only know it's widely celebrated in the US especially, in the city of New Orleans state of Louisiana.
Many go there especially to celebrate & beads are tossed out to the crowds of people partying down on the streets below, from several balconies on cool structured buildings above.
Probably many other states also celebrate but, haven't searched further to know myself.
I just know living in US all my life, that New Orleans, is the place to be for Cinco Demayo & is where many go to celebrate & vacation.
I've only been there to visit once but, nvr during Cinco.
It's a real cool, pretty(not as beautiful or pretty as Ireland or Spain), vibrant, festive little city at the end of the big Mississippi River, that runs through many states in US.
They are oddly built below sea level.
It's also the city, that was sadly flooded, during the one big hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Cinco de Mayo, holiday celebrated in parts of Mexico and the United States in honour of a military victory in 1862 over the French forces of Napoleon III.
When in 1861 Mexico declared a temporary moratorium on the repayment of foreign debts, English, Spanish, and French troops invaded the country. By April 1862 the English and Spanish had withdrawn, but the French, with the support of wealthy landowners, remained in an attempt to establish a monarchy under Maximilian of Austria and to curb U.S. power in North America. On May 5, 1862, a poorly equipped mestizo and Zapotec force under the command of General Ignacio Zaragoza defeated French troops at the Battle of Puebla, southeast of Mexico City; about 1,000 French troops were killed. Although the fighting continued and the French were not driven out for another five years, the victory at Puebla became a symbol of Mexican resistance to foreign domination. The city, which was later renamed Puebla de Zaragoza, is the site of a museum devoted to the battle, and the battlefield itself is maintained as a park.
The day is celebrated in the state of Puebla with parades, speeches, and reenactments of the 1862 battle, though it is not much noticed in most of the rest of the country. In the mid-20th-century United States, the celebration of Cinco de Mayo became among Mexican immigrants a way of encouraging pride in their Mexican heritage. Critics observed that enthusiasm for the holiday celebration did not take off with a broader demographic until it was explicitly linked with the promotion of Mexican alcoholic beverages and that many U.S. festivities tended to both perpetuate negative stereotypes of Mexicans and promote excessive drinking.
