I mean, the British had two invasions during the early 1960s...the music of the Beatles, and also the "music" their wonderful little sports cars made!...The six cyl engines were particularly nice to listen to, and row through the gears with. I owned a 59 Healey...the exhaust note was supreme!...Somehow, the Brits had the right idea in producing these types of cars--but in general, they did a mediocre job of putting them together!..Still, I as an American kid I loved the sports car experience...no "muscle" cars for me! By the later 60s, the Japanese had introduced a couple of sports cars that were not only fun to drive, but much more reliable. The 240Z in particular, pretty much doomed the British sports car heyday.
Here you can compare to a Honda S600 that looks quite similar only smaller and has a much better DOHC engine and transmission: ruclips.net/video/MkjR2HtUKg0/видео.html
Ecstasy

Thank you, this car was so much fun to drive.
