That perfect sticker placement! 👌🏻 I saw that you guys were able to get out and camp too! Can’t wait for your camping video with Blockhead and Baggerbro. I’m sure they will be very entertaining 😂
Just stay away from Ant Bee's Kerosene cucumbers! an episode of Andy Griffith. This sounds like an awesome hobby bike camping. I think my 91 Sporty 1200 would like this. a Sissy bar w back porch and saddle bags. . . gotta watch more of ur vidz! Good luck and take care.
You definitely have to ride through the Hocking Hills and then down to Athens and camp at Strouds Run State Park! My ancestors settled that valley. One of the most beautiful valley's in this country. Thanks for sharing your ride. I moved here to Wisconsin 21 years ago. There's some beautiful fall riding here. Devil's Lake State Park is so awesome
Man, this video takes me waaaaay back to my cooking over a campfire -- whether I was traveling on a bike or in a cage. I liked riding to Hocking Hills or to Mohican State Park. Great video here. Ride safe.
Here's 2 places to check out,, Stockport Mill Inn, it's an old grain mill on Muskingum river,, an Burr Oak they have a lodge cabins an open camping area, tip if you use bike to support tent lean it away from you, or you'll wake to water dripping on you from rain or morning dew.
All that space. Room for a couple of dogs. Reminds me of a night up in the Andes with my dogs. They heard something and had to run around in the snow and mud then back in the tent. Two german shepards and my little dog in my sleeping bag
Wow, that's a really dynamic running video. The bike's so pretty. The environment around the camping site is so beautiful. I'm glad to be a friend of your great channel.🤗👍🤝🤝🤝🤙👌
@@BikerBabeBeth all the good motorcycle mounts are like +80$ I’m not hating though😂 if it does the trick than it does the trick. It just kept shaking and looking like it was gonna fall haha I love these videos
Kool video!! You should have used the pan/plate you had the steak in to heat up the water. Poor little coffee cup just couldn't handle the stress...lol. Be good and be safe!!
I have an 883 as well and it’s nice to see how you have it set up for camping. Grilled food always tastes better. Next time maybe make s’mores over the fire for dessert. 👍😃
Likes camping, motorcycles, amaretto sours, and pickles❤ Please tell me your twin sister is single. 😊 Seriously tho, your enthusiasm is contagious, so I subbed. Great videos!
Set up on the bike... Backpacking backpack.. that's what I do.. I can stuff all my camping gear in there and still have most all my saddle bags empty for food, clothing and comfort items.
Awesome! Been looking at possibly moto camping. Living in Mississippi, I've got plenty of options. Even though, next year my wife wants to visit the KRiver in Oklahoma. Run by Adam Sandoval. Looking forward to that one. Be safe, and be careful...... But not too safe. 😅
i have never camped at a state owned park before, largely due to all of the RV campers and pull behinds. just never looked like it would be "peaceful and relaxing" to me but between you and @her.two.wheels i'm starting to come around to the idea. although i am not too interested in having to pay to "tent" camp. great video anyways, beth. hope your Sunday goes good for y'all up in central Ohio, down here in Highland county though the horns are always blasting due to harvest tractors on the roadways lol if you wanted to do a solo camp out then you just go ahead and do it. until next time, stay safe out there.
Great vlog Beth. I'm from London, UK, the roads here are very congested and busy, even if you go out in the countryside there's always traffic. That's why I love watching you USA motor vlogs. Your roads are lovely n clear and long. Fantastic ! Keep up the good work sunshine. 😆
Nice camp, try old fashioned metal style mugs, most outdoor places have them. I like to have two cast iron pans, fit easily into each other and works great with multiple dishes cooking at once.
That looks really like the part of the UK that I live in, only you ride on the wrong side of the road and talk funny 🤣 I would love to move to the US and out of England but I doubt it would ever happen, I'm too deep rooted here. If I did tho it would be a toss up between Ohio and Florida. I love the sun but would probably miss the pronounced changes of seasons to live there full time. I have friends in Des Moines, Iowa and that looks nice too. I live in a little village called Coppull in Lancashire and it really is a beautiful little place, only 30 miles or so to the centre of Manchester and an hour drive to the beautiful lake district. Look it up if you've never seen it before. It is an awesome place to ride but possibly more suited to sports bikes rather than Harley's although any bike is better than a car 👍 Ride safe, love from the UK 👍
New subscriber here because I own a Sportster 883 too, a 2001, and I have not seen many motocamping videos. I hope you do not go camping alone unless you have no choice. Having someone special to go with always seems to make it more fun. Your fiancé has a nice bike too. My former wife hated motorcycles so my adventures were always solo. Our kids prefer video games. Looking forward very much to viewing your other videos. What year is your Sportster? Mine is down for an unknown period of time due to oil oozing up through the spark plug threads.
I ride a 91 883 xlh thought about starting a sportster ride, maybe you could come . I need to make a page or something so the turnouts good right its just an idea. Ps love the bike and video. Ride on
If your seat isn't real comfortable, depending on what year your 883 is, HD makes a couple of REALLY comfortable solo seats. I swapped from the stock one to a solo reach seat and could ride for hours on my 1200 Sporty without even thinking of my butt. Enjoy your videos...nice to see there is good riding even in the states like yours without any mountains to roll through. Keep up the good work!!
Wow! That camp ground packed in October! As bad as this may sound I’m so glad we 🇨🇦only have 37 million people as opposed to your close to 300 million. Where I live in an area with around 100,000 people (750,000 in our whole province) north of Maine it is literally a 10 minute drive in almost any direction and I’m in the woods. Average traffic jam about 5-10 minutes. Love your videos. My daughters name is Beth and I taught her how to ride a bike when she was 9 years old. Yamaha PW80. Shes 26 now.
I woulda tried boiling water in your pan. I can't do one night camping gotta be a few days. I don't know maybe later I would like to try hammock camping I could do that less set up and could camp somewhere different every night as long as no rain is involved :). I am on the west coast so the ocean is about an hour away or the mountains. Wanted to ask did you use a tree friendly hanger for the hammock Tree are fragile and the bark can get damaged from the abrasive nature of rope (that's for those who don't know these things. Be kind to trees they help clean the air.
Yeah my Eno’s brand hammock came with tree friendly straps that are flat and lay nicely on the bark and cause no damage. I definitely know they made those straps with the trees in mind ☺️
Been wanting to try it cause wife is killer cooking on the fire! But don’t think the old bodies can handle it. If you love pickles try Quaker Steak fried pickles.
B3, what phone mount are you using? Seems to shake and vibrate a bit. I recommend trying out the tachform mounts. www.tackform.com/collections/motorcycle-phone-mounts they are really awesome and very simple! Hopefully, the inside-bed person didn't have to pee in the middle of the night. 😜 Awww...I love English Bulldogs! Awww...I was hoping to "go with you" on your night hike....maybe next time...lol. Great video B3!!!!
Awesome, ill have to check them out! I know I need a new mount the one I have is sketchy 😂 I’ll have to bring you guys along next time for any hiking cause I went inside a small water tower 🤭 hey the door was open...🤷🏽♀️

Hell yeah it was! Thanks for watching. ☺️
Oh wow Mr Shadetree himself . Fancy seeing you here. 👍👍
@@BikerBabeBeth Hi Beth how are you looking nice on your motorbike
Lovely! That food/cooking looked awesome, I usually just boil sausages, heat some canned food, or some freeze-dried stuff.
Your dinner was better than most meals I cook at home. Great video!
Dinner looked good!
an old hack I learned back in the 80s is to use a metal soup can (after you clean it out of course) to heat your coffee water in. It works very well.
That’s great advice!
@@BikerBabeBeth Also the foil pan from Jiffy Pop Popcorn works great as a recyclable cooking pot once you've eaten the popcorn.
Found you from SaddleTramp I have subscribed. Saddle Tramp is a great guy. Cool video I like moto camping when the weather is good.
