honestly i feel that characters having skins of different concepts would be more interesting (eg naaid with butterflies) rather than like the lore accurate ones (geisha w butterflies) because it’s more unique in a way 😆😆
Hard agree. I don’t want ten million reptile Luchino skins unless they’re like B tiers, give me some variety in what sort of aesthetics you’ll give the characters! Though having high tier thematically fitting skins is very cool too… I just think it’s not worth complaining about the less obvious skins

I got a whole lot of nothing (lie because there's new low-tiers) 6:28 I think a lot of people have design burnout more or less. the designs are objectively pretty and well-made but don't stand out or feel special. Plus, A-tiers have gotten so good that the price increase from s-tiers barely feels worth it anymore. Like, S-tiers definitely have more layers and detailed work, but imo unless the skins do something really unique (like Naiad tail or Dream Witch legs, or Forward skating animation) it feels hard to truly "feel" that they are worth more than 4 times as much as an a-tier. That's at least what I've been feeling and hearing in my bubble. Like the Naiad skin is nice but some Naiad enjoyers (including me) aren't even hyped for it because it's just a slight upgrade/variation of Rosemary (the lilac one). Naiad essence skins always get basically the same silhouette (flat dress) and her hair also never changes beyond some detailing. Personally I want this skin still, because the ruffles on the dress at least make it look a bit less awkward when it deforms than her other a-tiers, but.... yeah. Also personally I wouldn't want this concept on Melly because it'd just be a variation of Datura imo. Datura feels really similar to this, so I'm fed already. 6:55 the portraits are sooo pretty, i am genuinely and ashamedly tempted to pull just to claim the Naiad one.... the artstyle for these is so nice.... But I'll wait for what the Anniv essence will be first and see how I feel then. the reason people are not very thrilled with evelyns S tier has to do with the fact its so similar to ivys in both design and especially color so it feels cheapened particularly with how close Ivy's essence was to this release. It was a problem of people saying the design team 'cheapened' out. Much like how many people voiced annoyance at many male characters getting 'poofy' short pants in such close succession together in the past.
Managed to pull all but two B-Tiers. Also, you’re really using all the luck for essences. Save some for rank! You know, in hindsight “Faro Lady”’s ability to steal progress isn’t that helpful. It helps when the last cipher is guarded, but besides that she’s just taking and not creating which might just slow cipher rush if done poorly.
I personally don't like her S tier. It's miles better than a lot of limited S tiers I'll admit that, also love the colors but I'm just not a fan of the outfit. I like her default costume way more. I mean it is coming from someone who never uses skins and uses default and worn clothes so... Yea lol. Still a beautiful skin tho just not my type of skin and when the default skin looks so cool already u don't really need a skin.
