For US audiences who liked The Wire, Breaking Bad and BCS I swear you will like this show even more. Just beautifully written, shot, and acted.

Then they can leverage your lack of game against Ray. ‘Get your mate to do xyz… cops won’t look at him". Puts Ray in a position. No good. But yes, he has a sort of decency about him. Remember when he broke the leg of the guy who beeped his horn at him when his GF was in the car? Been there. That side is there waiting to involve you. Anyway, good chat. Should do again some time.

I’ve binged watched the show and truly cannot get enough. My hope is that one day Nash Edgerton and writer Scott Ryan get back together and do more work. Mr Inbetween truly has a cult following.

Damn fine drama and storytelling. Superb character development extremely relatable personalities. From the first minute to the last minute, not one wasted second. Adhering to the maxim of stellar showmanship: always leave them wanting more. Indeed🧐

Every one of his 'victims' had gotten themselves into bad places long before our boy showed up. People don't spend money on hit-men out of nothing...you had to be a problem for someone. It's always sad when the victim has no idea why their days have ended.
I tried to put how I feel about this series into writing, and found it very hard to do. I guess I'll just have to watch it again. There are lots of great things to say about it, the writing and acting is superb, Ray is totally believeable, and I buy his journey, as well. Credible character development.
Ray is enigmatic, but, quite normal, moralistic and guided. Flipside, he's a beast and a maniac. In the comfort of our living rooms, we voyueristally consume his last few chapters of life.
Geez there's a lot I don't remember from this series. Definitely gonna have to watch it again. An EPIC show. I'm not a violent person and couldn't do what Ray does but he is an easy character to identify with.........in theory.
I still say that Ray will make a great Spin off, like the expendables where he worked for the wrong people, and they think they got him cornered, but he comes back with a vengeance😎💯
And the wild thing is, this only covers his "dark side" which is what makes he TV series so layered and fascinating. There's Ray the father, Ray the bestfriend, Ray the brother/son, Ray the boyfriend.
He somewhat regretted killing the innocent guy (that he made dig his own grave), and he couldn't really refuse to kill his bikie boss mate because they would have then killed him (and subsequently tried to kill him anyway).
My girlfriend and I just finished watching all 3 seasons: absolutely fantastic - great characters...The spider scene and Ray telling the newbie in prison that he was in for raping men had me crying with laughter.....
I worked, drank, gamed, and the other thing, up the Cross for 6 years. Worked on doors, ran a bar there, delivered food and kitchen equipment. I met, worked with and paled around with quite a few people who would have been given a few pats with some powder to knock the gloss off their skin and slotted straight into one of these shows. Only criticism I would make, is he has let his Aussie racism dictate his hiring of actors. Far too few rough Kiwis and Islanders walking around in his show. At least twenty percent of the guys hanging around the rougher corners of any of the East Coast city in Aussie are Kiwis and Islanders, and his show has virtually none. Can not be an accident.
its his accountability that i respect , a lesson for large parts of the masses who love to blame anything else .Victim mentality , a tsunami of mental illness on its way!
