- A commission from Sir Pimpington once again!
From Eisenhorn before to Ravenor now. In a pitched fight at the conclusion of the Ravenor Omnibus, with the demon (of presumably Nurgle), Slyte, one of the largest daemons I can think of appearing in the 40k books.
The banishing of Slyte itself is a fantastically tense moment.

My thanks for watching!
That book ended so abruptly, compared to how well it built up to that point
I think that was the point. Payback is never really as conclusive or satisfying as you want it to be.
@@pandaman2234 of course, yet there are better ways to go about it, Dan could learn something from ADB
@@pedropierre9594 I agree tbh, I liked it but I feel it could have been more effective.
I remember reading the Eisenhorn and Ravenor trilogys over a decade ago and always remembered them fondly, I heard that the wrote a Bequin trilogy in the mean time but as I understand it it's real hard to get hard copies of these books anymore
My lips are like Skittles. Wanna taste the rainbow later?

Rest in peace Carl Thonius ypu were the GOAT
In my opinion Thonius was flawed, and because Ravenor always saw the best in people he failed to notice where the danger was, Wystan Frauka is my recommendation for goat, always reliable and has every reason to be a villain, but he choose’s right all the time
@pedropierre9594 But I loved his quirks and flaws
And yes Frauka was absolute chad
Kys was always my favourite, I especially loved the voice Toby Longworth gave her in the audiobook and the short story Playing Patience is one of my favourite short stories.
@lachlanevans5013I liked Kys, but not as much as other characters, she is rash and slow to forgive, stubborn and prone to anger, her character has not come around and finished yet, she is half way to her prime imo
