Just a ladder safety tip. That ladder was too steep, no matter how tall a ladder, it should be resting where if your feet are touching the bottom feet of the ladder, your arms extended should just comfortably be able to grip the ladder at its sides. That is the safest angle, any steeper and it can be easily pushed over, you lean back a bit to climb like he was and you can tip it back... any lower and you risk the feet sliding out from under it. So remember, ladder at a comfortable arms length is perfect. Be safe guys, ladders account for like 40% of construction site injuries and deaths. Ladders are no joke, you can break your neck and die from even just a few feet up. You can fall off a tall curb and die. Don't take dumb risks to save time, or look cool.

I have a severe phobia of heights and my therapy actually involves pushing myself to climb new heights (literally). It's a shame I'm down in Santa Ana, because I would have totally volunteered to replace that lightbulb just to conquer that fear.
Does the therapy include making you do things up in heights for the sake of keeping yourself slightly distracted? Not enough to make you forget where you are but just enough to not let your freak out.
@@QuesoCucuy Actually, yes, but not so much to keep distracted. By giving myself a task to complete, that's what I focus on. Being distracted leads to accidents, but having a goal, that pulls focus from the fear of falling. But I need to keep aware of what my safety depends on (where the steps to a ladder are, where the next hand hold is, etc.). Being distracted from these gets real hazardous, real quick.
