This is still the best modern remake of King Kong! Damn I love this movie! And this soundtrack is just bone chilling and soothing and nostalgic at the same time!! 💟💟
After I saw this movie when I was 11 I cried three days because of its ending. This music gives me chills. I totally remember when we went to see this in the movie theatre.
King Kong (2005) was one of the first giant monster films I have seen alongside Godzilla (1998) when me and my dad rented the film from a rental store in Albertsons. Unknown to me at the time, I was witnessing one of the best remakes that layed its eyes on the big screen back when it was released on December 5, 2005.
Godzilla 98 is nowhere near a remake as much as the directors claimed, but never mind that’s something else xD I loved King Kong 2005 it was awesome and emotional and I cried like shit in the theater (partly because at first I was in denial that he was gonna die...)
greatest remake ever made, infact unless you have nastolgia with the original it's better (but you would fucking expect it to be better 72 years on and the fact that the Original still holds up is a testament of how much of a revolutionary milestone of a film it was). This movie in my honest opinion is probably the 3rd greatest monster movie ever made, behind Jurassic Park and Jaws.
