@@brendaholiday2634 Since Oct 7, I will admit that the conditions in the prisons have become much worse. Israel has arrested terrorists and the prison population has increased and is overwhelming the capacity. I wasn't that impressed with the CNN story because it was just simulations, and no actual proof. There are stories I believe more than others, and many organizations that have an Anti-Israel stance. However, I have recently read that the Israeli government has made conditions in the prisons worse as a form of deterrence because what was happening is that the Red Cross was giving reports to the Palestinian Authority (PA) about prisoners, which in turn was used as verification of the prisoners being held so that their families could receive large sums of money from the PA. I believe that is part of the Pay for Slay program which the PA has to reward terrorism. In general, they wouldn't be in prison if Palestinians didn't keep striving to get everything from the Riv to the Sea, and never accept that Israel has a right to exist.
