When they take two of my favorite characters (like Godzilla and Optimus Prime) and make them fight to the death, I’m happy with seeing either one win because I love both characters so much.
While I’d love a meta for Transformers getting them past city block level, saying that human weapons only them hurt due to being reverse engineered Cybertronian weapons is kind of... misleading. In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Director Galloway attempts to chastise Optimus Prime for not “sharing your advancements in weaponry” to which Optimus retorts it would do them more harm than good. That means by 2009, human technology is considered subpar to Autobot technology, even if derived from Megatron who we know has greater firepower than Optimus during their fight in the 2007 movie. Secondly, Cybertronians (like Blackout was during the military attack at the beginning of the 2007 movie) are practically invulnerable to any human technology short of a tank and that isn’t enough for low mid tiers. In 2007 movie, Lennox states that Scorponok was only harmed due to the high temperature of special ammo they were using, citing that those temperatures melt right through the armour. The movie itself clarifies the sudden ability for humans to harm an otherwise invincible enemy with “Sabot Rounds”, there is no mention or relevance to the technologies origin. That plus Megatron was found in the 1910s, guns had existed before then with near similar design to the new age. Highlighting that humans only harm Transformers with specialised ammo (like kryptonite ammo) is a better defense of their durability than suggesting that Bayverse humans are carrying nukes in their back-pocket. One massive critcism I have, you bring up the fallen fight yet optimus amped during that fight by jetfire. The same jetfire who soloed the fallen's seeker army and gave Prime a massive size boost.
Optimus killed Fallen with his bare hands, in fact Fallen tore appart Jetfire's parts of Optimus. Doesn't matter anyway since Fallen said that only a prime could defeat him, referencing Optimus later. In the Transformers movie universe databook, they have stated that Optimus's power level is about 10 while the Fallen is only 5+.
I think it would be neat to make an entire series of this matchup since there are so many versions of these characters: G1 Optimus vs Showa Godzilla Animated Optimus vs Hannah Barbara Godzilla or Zilla Jr. Marvel Optimus vs Marvel Godzilla Prime Optimus vs Final Wars etc.

Personally, I don’t think Optimus prime would even survive based on most of his strength, speed or durability feats. Even if Optimus survives one attack from Godzilla, Godzilla is full of radiation. His atomic breath is basically Radioactive, overheated Plasma so even if Optimus survived a hit of that, It will definitely hurt like hell and it will mess him up. Even if Optimus’s spark makes him as strong as you say (even though it mostly doesn’t), it won’t help if Godzilla smacks him with his upgraded tail. Now if it was comic Optimus prime, he could take the big G down with some damage. But since I’m putting Optimus in his best form, overheated Godzilla, especially in his newer form would have the upper hand mostly because Godzilla would either melt him straight away or send a shockwave to do the job. But at the end of the day, they would never fight, they both protect the planet and I think they would both be a great team when taking down kaiju and decepticons. Edit: even if you say that Optimus Prime resisted that things very strong telekinesis, Godzilla can go through and even maneuver in the holes to hollow earth to get to the points in between, which is basically surviving all of gravity being put on him. Even if you say that his scales or energy protect him, his vital organs would be squashed if he wasn’t that strong. Sorry for the yapping 😅
Doesn’t matter Optimus has took attacks from tripticon who is way bigger then Godzilla and Trypticon stomped on Optimus and he survived and he tanked a blast from nova prime who had power of dead multiverses he also tanked space and time collapsing on him basically a space bridge explosion

Also Godzilla has canonically killed Zeus (an immortal being), and Zeus is able to move stars faster than light, he also blew up a neutron star with one concentrated heat beam. You also can’t forget that his tail survived a black hole and it was able to break tectonic plates without hurting itself. A few more feats include surviving a literal anti-oxygen bomb, swimming under earths crust and not falling off as much as transformers.

"Microchips, cars, all reverse engineered through him" meaning they needed an alien just to get regular cars. Their "modern age" is mostly relative to our own then. So most of their weapons aren't necessarily higher either. (Aside from stuff like Galvatron and possibly a few other things)
Narrative-wise, the implication is that all their technology (other than maybe the experimental railgun) and all their weapons are a 1/1 match with the real world. It may not be said so explicitly, but it doesn't make any sense to just ignore it. I suppose a microchip upscales Godzilla now, too?

Uh Hulk currently is fighting enemies that fought THE ONE ABOVE ALL so I don't know if Godzilla has what it takes. Like godzilla in hell, ultima, marvel and DC scaling probably wouldn't be enough.
He touched on it in his Godzilla vs Doom Eternal video from a while back, but yeah, I really want some more content on him and other comic book versions of Godzilla too. The information in the Godzilla vs Doom video suggests that GiH is one of, if not the strongest iteration of the character to ever exist, yet I've seen people in the comments of this exact channel arguing heavily and aggressively against that claim very recently, so maybe the info provided in that video wasn't entirely accurate or those people just haven't watched it? Either way, I think a modern breakdown of his scaling would be nice. The film/anime iterations get scaled to death, I think it's time for the comics to get some love, especially considering that there are people that say they'd smoke a lot of their film/anime counterparts. I'd love to see how GiH would really compare to the likes of Burning Heisei, True Form Ultima, Marvel, R.A.T, Earth, Void Ghidorah, and maybe even characters from other IPs.

Cybertron is much larger than Earth. The cybertron we see in dark of the moon was already a dead and crumbling planet which is why Optimus and Sentinel were fighting in the first place in DOTM because Optimus was looking towards the future and protecting humanity from the deceptions and everyone saw that cybertron was a lost cause at that point. Plus it was going to destroy the Earth

I think bayverse comics is far too inconsistent to be scaled to the movies and potentially itself. If you wanna use the highest scaling you could get the fallen to 17 dimensional though since Sam when rambling due to the All spark knowledge said there's 17 dimensions and The Fallen had evolved beyond the All Spark making him hyperversal, the All Spark created said 17 dimensional universe. Prime did defeat the fallen. There's also a statement that says, "The Fallen channels and wields unquantifiable energies, and, by generating focused bursts, possesses the awesome power to un-make creation at will." Which is a quote from a guidebook and not even the comic. His toy stats give him infinite strength and endurance and fireblast. The Fallen is also trans-dimensional and Optimus killed him so there is that. There's some city level scaling in the comics as well, so it's pretty inconsistent. So depending on the scaling Optimus is anywhere from negging MV Godzilla to getting negged by MV Godzilla. Game Megatron also absorbed the planetary-universal all spark in a potential ending I believe so there's also that.

Ok. But you've forgot about one thing. Optimus has two different modes. Prime mode and Knight mode. There's a video on RUclips about this very subject. Prime mode is more to his weapons, and combat situations, while Knight mode is the equivalent of Quality over Quantity. So if Optimus uses either Knight mode or Prime mode, would it not make a difference against Godzilla here?

I think the connectivity of the transformers franchise multiverse influenced this scale greatly. Since the fallen can unmake creation and out scale the all spark. The all spark basically created the universe which in the infestations 2 comic from transformers, the universe basically has an infinite amount of spatial dimensions. But you can also take into account the bayverse having universes being 17 dimensional bare minimum. With infestations 2 supporting the fact that there are higher spatial dimensions other than 17d. That's all from me.

Dawg, IRL people can literally be killed by things that are 1/100th of their own size. Granted there's a lot of context to why that is, but if Optimus is basically a fast moving, small yet high impact object compared to Godzilla, it basically is like a bullet passing through someone's head.
SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO: Optimus scales to The Fallen via implications from lore and arguable calculations on the internet. The Fallen endured a really big explosion that calc'd at this level. Well all the human weapons are based off Cybertonian technology despite clearly not being so, and that contradicting the presence of more effective Cybertonian weapons later. Also, Optimus scales to the Allspark which has a bunch of crazy implied feats. The fight Optimus has with The Fallen proves he has all of those feats he did too. Here's a statement about how fast Jazz can move that we clearly never saw and isn't consistent with what he actually did, but it is factual that Optimus is higher than that. I dont know about this one. This feels like optimus is getting mega wanked. Optimus doesnt scale to the fallen as he is way way weaker and a lot of the statements about Fallen likely is about him at his peak. Logically hed peak at city level due to feats like a certainf decepticon causing some sort of town to city level explosions, even that wasnt the guy using his power, thats just him crashing, he doesnt shoe this levek of power afterwards. Plus a lot of the tech ISNT comparable to cybertronian tech. Someone in the comments already explained it but tanks and what not can harm them, not fancy tanks just normal ones. So the guns that can harm them carried by humans are as good as the cybertronians? No, It's just normal guns, hell most weapons used on bayformer cybertronians were normal himan weaponry, not future tech. Godzilla should win this easily, even using a more conservative and logical scale hes arlund continental which surpasses Optimus. And the Quintesson i brlieve wasnt using her telepathic powers to move cybertron but rather technobolgy, and even if she did she was exerting more force on the planet and very minor force on Optimus.
Plus she used space bridge tech to move cybertron closer to earth which atp was just floating, AND she needed the staff to collide Cybertron into earth.

The problem here is how durable cybertronian metals are. Godzilla's atomic breath is said to disintegrate ANY metal. Plus his weight is RIDICULOUS and his arms are said to have stoopid feats. I know the optimus can probably go all doomslayer on Godzilla and win in
I'm the biggest Bay Optimus glazer there is, but this was the most longwinded, roundabout, fancy-word-using hyper-yap sesh I've ever sat through. Everyone knows Prime beats Godzilla solely because… he just…does. You don't need to make up theoretical not-shown-on-screen stats for Bay Optimus.
I don't know why I keep watching powerscaling videos. They're the only ones that do character vs character matches on a regular basis, but I get so tired of "longwinded, roundabout, fancy word-using, hyper-yap." It sounds like they've cultivated a language from VS Battles Wiki and then write a script assuming that everyone is on the same page as them. Seth likes to talk about cucks, "debate me bro" has become a meme, this guy's saying "I implore you to stop doing the eye test." It's like we're treating this like an actual science with actual answers instead of fun discussions. Some of the estimations/scales are ridiculous and rely on taking things incredibly literally, and assuming things that happened off-screen/taking implications as 100 percent fact. Death Battle might not always have conclusions I agree with, but they just present the information in a way that doesn't make me want to yell. I don't hear about "AP, town level, x times the speed of light," it sounds like an actual script instead of someone pulling calcs off of a website and then going "so X scales to Y and therefore he wins and the people wanking this character need to stop." It feels more professional and enjoyable than most "powerscalers." Case in point powerscalers tend to clap back with "debunk" videos because they're reactive "know-it-alls" who need to validate their fictional deathmatch and get views.
I agree to the fact that the transformers robots weapons arent ordinary weapons because of a phrase from transformers comics or something which idk abt stated that the transformers metals are forged from the cores of blackholes
Seeing this, it seems that humanity in this universe has already managed to deal better with titans than its version in the monsterverse, considering that they have the technology to create weapons that could kill even Godzilla.

@@Laquontavious Godzilla “logically” has no size and strength advantage, if that were the case then he’d still be weaker than Ghidora since he’s smaller. Those factors are negligible in a genuine fight, Optimus would just gun him down with his weapons quicker than he’d be able to fire his atomic blast and finish him off.

My main problem is that in the narrative military weaponry is clearly implied to be 1/1 with real-world weaponry, just with hidden origins. Also, Godzilla in KOTM is said to scale to the strongest force in nature, including black holes and probably the Big Bang, and that was before his 20x amp (and, if I'm not mistaken, before his Serizawa amp too), so Godzilla is now 20+x stronger than the strongest force in nature, easily putting him above the Fallen and Galvatron's best feats (and yeah, I know the Fallen claimed to be able to destroy the 17d Bayverse, but he also needed help destroying the sun, and villains are always bragging about stuff they can't really do, so IDK about that). Agree to disagree on this one, Goji-Chronic.

One massive critcism I have, you bring up the fallen fight yet optimus amped during that fight by jetfire. The same jetfire who soloed the fallen's seeker army and gave Prime a massive size boost.

Personally, I don’t think Optimus prime would even survive based on most of his strength, speed or durability feats. Even if Optimus survives one attack from Godzilla, Godzilla is full of radiation. His atomic breath is basically Radioactive, overheated Plasma so even if Optimus survived a hit of that, It will definitely hurt like hell and it will mess him up. Even if Optimus’s spark makes him as strong as you say (even though it mostly doesn’t), it won’t help if Godzilla smacks him with his upgraded tail. Now if it was comic Optimus prime, he could take the big G down with some damage. But since I’m putting Optimus in his best form, overheated Godzilla, especially in his newer form would have the upper hand mostly because Godzilla would either melt him straight away or send a shockwave to do the job. But at the end of the day, they would never fight, they both protect the planet and I think they would both be a great team when taking down kaiju and decepticons.
Edit: even if you say that Optimus Prime resisted that things very strong telekinesis, Godzilla can go through and even maneuver in the holes to hollow earth to get to the points in between, which is basically surviving all of gravity being put on him. Even if you say that his scales or energy protect him, his vital organs would be squashed if he wasn’t that strong.

A few more feats include surviving a literal anti-oxygen bomb, swimming under earths crust and not falling off as much as transformers.

He touched on it in his Godzilla vs Doom Eternal video from a while back, but yeah, I really want some more content on him and other comic book versions of Godzilla too. The information in the Godzilla vs Doom video suggests that GiH is one of, if not the strongest iteration of the character to ever exist, yet I've seen people in the comments of this exact channel arguing heavily and aggressively against that claim very recently, so maybe the info provided in that video wasn't entirely accurate or those people just haven't watched it? Either way, I think a modern breakdown of his scaling would be nice. The film/anime iterations get scaled to death, I think it's time for the comics to get some love, especially considering that there are people that say they'd smoke a lot of their film/anime counterparts.
I'd love to see how GiH would really compare to the likes of Burning Heisei, True Form Ultima, Marvel, R.A.T, Earth, Void Ghidorah, and maybe even characters from other IPs.

I think bayverse comics is far too inconsistent to be scaled to the movies and potentially itself. If you wanna use the highest scaling you could get the fallen to 17 dimensional though since Sam when rambling due to the All spark knowledge said there's 17 dimensions and The Fallen had evolved beyond the All Spark making him hyperversal, the All Spark created said 17 dimensional universe. Prime did defeat the fallen. There's also a statement that says, "The Fallen channels and wields unquantifiable energies, and, by generating focused bursts, possesses the awesome power to un-make creation at will." Which is a quote from a guidebook and not even the comic. His toy stats give him infinite strength and endurance and fireblast. The Fallen is also trans-dimensional and Optimus killed him so there is that. There's some city level scaling in the comics as well, so it's pretty inconsistent. So depending on the scaling Optimus is anywhere from negging MV Godzilla to getting negged by MV Godzilla. Game Megatron also absorbed the planetary-universal all spark in a potential ending I believe so there's also that.

In a few words Bayverse Prime would pull up a Rules of Nature on MV Godzilla.
I think the connectivity of the transformers franchise multiverse influenced this scale greatly. Since the fallen can unmake creation and out scale the all spark. The all spark basically created the universe which in the infestations 2 comic from transformers, the universe basically has an infinite amount of spatial dimensions. But you can also take into account the bayverse having universes being 17 dimensional bare minimum. With infestations 2 supporting the fact that there are higher spatial dimensions other than 17d. That's all from me.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO: Optimus scales to The Fallen via implications from lore and arguable calculations on the internet. The Fallen endured a really big explosion that calc'd at this level. Optimus also overpowered a telekinetic attack from the Quintessa that calc'd at this level, which implies he's WAY stronger than Godzilla. Optimus scales to a guy who resisted a black hole.
Does that not sound accurate based off what we saw in the films? Well all the human weapons are based off Cybertonian technology despite clearly not being so, and that contradicting the presence of more effective Cybertonian weapons later. Also, Optimus scales to the Allspark which has a bunch of crazy implied feats. The fight Optimus has with The Fallen proves he has all of those feats he did too.
Here's a statement about how fast Jazz can move that we clearly never saw and isn't consistent with what he actually did, but it is factual that Optimus is higher than that.
Optimus wins because of a scaling chain aka things that clearly aren't visible or defendable or consistent with what you see in the films, but the scaling chain puts him at stronger and more durable than a giant kaiju clearly larger and heavier than he is.

I dont know about this one. This feels like optimus is getting mega wanked. Optimus doesnt scale to the fallen as he is way way weaker and a lot of the statements about Fallen likely is about him at his peak. Logically hed peak at city level due to feats like a certainf decepticon causing some sort of town to city level explosions, even that wasnt the guy using his power, thats just him crashing, he doesnt shoe this levek of power afterwards. Plus a lot of the tech ISNT comparable to cybertronian tech. Someone in the comments already explained it but tanks and what not can harm them, not fancy tanks just normal ones. So the guns that can harm them carried by humans are as good as the cybertronians? No, It's just normal guns, hell most weapons used on bayformer cybertronians were normal himan weaponry, not future tech. Godzilla should win this easily, even using a more conservative and logical scale hes arlund continental which surpasses Optimus. And the Quintesson i brlieve wasnt using her telepathic powers to move cybertron but rather technobolgy, and even if she did she was exerting more force on the planet and very minor force on Optimus.
Plus she used space bridge tech to move cybertron closer to earth which atp was just floating, AND she needed the staff to collide Cybertron into earth.
Now that I've said this, there are plenty of other versions of Optimus that CAN kill Godzilla. Such as the g1 and idw versions

They're the only ones that do character vs character matches on a regular basis, but I get so tired of "longwinded, roundabout, fancy word-using, hyper-yap."
It sounds like they've cultivated a language from VS Battles Wiki and then write a script assuming that everyone is on the same page as them. Seth likes to talk about cucks, "debate me bro" has become a meme, this guy's saying "I implore you to stop doing the eye test." It's like we're treating this like an actual science with actual answers instead of fun discussions.
Some of the estimations/scales are ridiculous and rely on taking things incredibly literally, and assuming things that happened off-screen/taking implications as 100 percent fact.
Death Battle might not always have conclusions I agree with, but they just present the information in a way that doesn't make me want to yell. I don't hear about "AP, town level, x times the speed of light," it sounds like an actual script instead of someone pulling calcs off of a website and then going "so X scales to Y and therefore he wins and the people wanking this character need to stop." It feels more professional and enjoyable than most "powerscalers." Case in point powerscalers tend to clap back with "debunk" videos because they're reactive "know-it-alls" who need to validate their fictional deathmatch and get views.
I agree to the fact that the transformers robots weapons arent ordinary weapons because of a phrase from transformers comics or something which idk abt stated that the transformers metals are forged from the cores of blackholes

@@Laquontavious Godzilla “logically” has no size and strength advantage, if that were the case then he’d still be weaker than Ghidora since he’s smaller. Those factors are negligible in a genuine fight, Optimus would just gun him down with his weapons quicker than he’d be able to fire his atomic blast and finish him off.

My main problem is that in the narrative military weaponry is clearly implied to be 1/1 with real-world weaponry, just with hidden origins. Also, Godzilla in KOTM is said to scale to the strongest force in nature, including black holes and probably the Big Bang, and that was before his 20x amp (and, if I'm not mistaken, before his Serizawa amp too), so Godzilla is now 20+x stronger than the strongest force in nature, easily putting him above the Fallen and Galvatron's best feats (and yeah, I know the Fallen claimed to be able to destroy the 17d Bayverse, but he also needed help destroying the sun, and villains are always bragging about stuff they can't really do, so IDK about that). Agree to disagree on this one, Goji-Chronic.
