she sings with only the instrument and no backtrack at all, sometimes few words are missing (well it happens to soloist singing live, you dont have all the breath to sing every word), but she still makes the song sound amazing and it doesnt even feel weird when some words are not there. i just love her and her voice so much
if you are wondering about why is her breathing sound so apparent in here, its because how the lyrics are so tightly laid out. The lines are practically linked to one another, making the singer quite hard to catch a breath. Especially at 0:50- 0:59, that bit is particularly tricky, it does actually requires the singer to catch a breath, but when she does it, she has to do it in a hurry. That line wouldn't sound good even if she sang it in one go. The only way that can solve this problem is getting another person to continue the line at 0:55. If you listen to the recorded version, instead of her taking a breath there, they overlaid the clip of her next line right after the previous one. But since this is a solo song, she can only take a breath quickly there.
i know right! her audible breath sound here is almost unnoticeable to me until i read the comments. i used to be Jordin Sparks' fan, and in her songs, the breath sounds are so prominent even in studio version that Taeyeon's audible breath sounds here are nothing to complaint about.

Flawless in my opinion she's the best singer ever. Other people may disagree, but I believe that it's up to the person to decide who is the best singer for them. Everytime I hear Taeyeon sing,I feel so relax and laid back, she always manage to express her emotions into the song. Her voice alone is enough to send me to heaven.
What made my jaw dropped on this performance was that, she was able to convey the message of the song as if she experienced it.
