I have a 1510 wheeled case and the rubber of the wheel just crumbled due to age. I’ve seen videos replacing the wheels with that from inline skates. Great video and thanks for the review.
@@ColeJErie I had my case since 2009 or 2010. Used to store camera gear so it’s not really used to bring stuff around only once in one occasion but mainly used to store photography stuff. A few weeks ago I checked and the wheels crumbled. Good thing there’s a way to replace it. I mentioned it because I saw your case has wheels too and probably will have to replace it someday.
@@chesterbtan that’s a good amount of years! I need to get a case for my camera stuff, just putting off spending the money 🙂I’m sure at some point I will have to replace those wheels, the case got pretty beat up after it’s first use so I’m hoping it holds up
It is the perfect size for all my scuba gears to fit inside. I love it so much that I put it in my office. So far the airports did not charge any additional fee for my suitcase.😁
Very good point! I’m on a trip right now using the case and some of our flights have been restricting us to 40lbs (18kg) so that makes it a bit of a struggle but has been working good so far
Since this one will go through baggage claim, I figured it won't draw much attention with the "Pelican" decal. The other one I have is carryon so I never took it off. I might change my mind and just cover up the decal.@@ColeJErie
@@GlobalAdventurer that’s a very good point, I was wondering about that as well. Thinking somebody might want to steal it just because the case is expensive. Very Good point!
It doesn’t seem that big does it? The manufacture claims it is max size for most airlines, but I’ve seen people with much bigger bags. And yes the weight is a large draw back, I try to pack light but it still ends up being heavy!
Make sure to pack a spare key. Pack a coupe of them in different places. This is especially true if you’re traveling internationally. I’m in China right now, locked out of my luggage because my dumb ass left my key at the last hotel. I thought I had packed a spare key, but I cannot locate it. Don’t be like me.

Wow, how long have you had the case? And that would be neat to fix it up and keep it going 🙂 Thank you for the comment!

That is awesome! Very cool use for the case🙂
Dont put your kids in the case either lmao 🤣. Thx for the review!! Been looking to get one of these
I will try not to😂 you are very welcome! And do it, you’ll love it🙂
"Been looking to get one of these kids" ?? 😲
Thankyou for the review👍🏻
Of course! Thank you for the comment😊
@@ColeJErie I’ve just bought it Pelican 1615 Thanks to you😊🤙🏼
@@shafiqshafiq9392 you’re going to love it! Let me know what you think of it when you get it🙂
The downside is that most flights restrict bag weight to around 23kg and one of these is 8.6kg empty. So you can only pack 14.4kg of actual clothes!

5:19 damn, I was looking at this case specifically so I could put my kids in it.
Oh boy, this might not be the case for you then!😂
I’m sold! Thanks!!
Any time!
What is the diagonal interior length? Thanks!
The diagonal interior is about 32 1/4”
I plan on purchasing one, but I'll take the "pelican" decal off of it. I already own the carryon size.
Do you normally take off the decal? And how do you like the carry on? I thought about getting one of them as well. Thanks for the comment!

Hardly looks ro be the max size...my casea are all quite bigger never an issue. Also as other say weight is very restrictive

That’s terrible I’m sorry to hear that! Very good advice though, I appreciate it! Best of luck figuring out your luggage 🙂
