I appreciate this video more than you know. I have a 2004 UA6 that I bought with a 5AT, but I converted it to a 6 speed manual with a 2003 CL Type-S trans. I bought a 2004 Sport 6MT ECU and immobilizer along with the manual cluster, manual engine harness, and pedal set and swapped everything in. Anyway, I fabricated a turbo kit for it and now I'm trying to figure out how to tune it. I bought a 2007 TL Type-S manual ECU, a Hondata FlashPro, a 2007 immobilizer, and I thank God I finally decided to watch your video because I couldn't find an adaptor harness ANYWHERE until I watched your video, but I just ordered a Fastline Performance adaptor harness from Heeltoe. I'm just hoping that I won't get any surprises in the form of missing connectors due to my car coming stock as an auto.
@@hdua6772 I took it to a dealership yesterday to have the immobilizer programmed to the 2007 ECU and they told me that I would have to pay $250 for them to install it and I would also have to pay $150 for them to program the immobilizer. I told them that everything was apart and I could swap the ECUs out in two minutes, but they insisted, so I just left. I've called quite a few automotive locksmiths, but no one around here has the programmer, so I'm just going to try to get a FLY 100. I don't know what else to do. There aren't too many Acura dealerships located near me.
Great install👍! Can't wait to see your numbers. As for my Mexico dragy runs, nighttime there's less traffic but more risk of animals. Daytime I just wait for 10min or so for an opening lol.
Lol thats my issue, the idle bounce but mines chills at 800-900rpm. I thought maybe w the hondata it would go away.... Hit up halferland performance, I guarantee you, he will have a solution.
Name is Joey I have an 04 Acura TL 6 speed I have an awesome nice exhaust system with a custom made j pipe that I made I'm a welder and a mechanic I was just wondering is there any way you could possibly let me know where I can find what I'm looking for in order to take away the speed limiter and possibly alter the fuel mapping and sort of the power band and where it needs to be I didn't listen to your whole video I'm working right now but if you could reply humbly I'd really appreciate it I am your true Honda enthusiast from the late '80s early '90s F1 days when McLaren and Honda were dominating everything else is trickled down from that point rest in peace ARYTON SENNA
for auto tl you have only one route thats the guy who make the rotex super charger kit, make a kit for auto tl to be tune its a aem v5 something like that. but his kit is 3k then 5k for the super charger kit..

Try hitting up any local shops. Anyone with a scan tool can program it. Shouldn’t be too expensive

all you need is an 07-08 auto ecu. they're compatible
Mine used to do that when I installed a J37 Thorpe throttle body. They're is a setting in flashpro that deals with Rev hang

04 tl 6mt doesn’t have governer. You’re maxed out by your gears not the computer. For fuel mapping then hondata or ktune

You have to get a trans fron a 04-06 or it won't fit the bell housing. They are very hard to find. You'd be better off getting a different tl.
