although technically bladeless fans have blades, its just that they air the blades create are funneled through a housing that does not have the blades visible to the user, but the blades still exist to create the airflow. sure its not a traditional style blade, it is either in a squirrel cage style like in a car, or like in this video it looks like an impeller you might find in a shop blower or in a vacuum cleaner
You're right. Airflow is created by an internal turbine then thru the large looped 'inductor' into the room. An inductor combines airflow from the turbine with ambient air which multiplies the flow. This is probably a Dyson product.
At around 90+ dollars (655 Chinese Yuan, or RMB), it's much cheaper than Dyson, yet still expensive for average Chinese consumers.
Very interesting. The PCB populating shows a manual/IR board being made with an empty footprint for an ESP8266 Wi-Fi/IoT controlled version - which is the one shown in the final assembly shots
It also seems to show it being programmed at 11:00 despite not being present ? And conformal coating being applied over the pads .. Or is on on the other side of the board ?
Back in the 60's, made in Japan, often meant poor quality but over time Japan became the leading manufacturing base for among the highest quality electronics in the world. China too, has had its share of poor quality items but it is clear in this video, the Chinese workers are both skillful but also disciplined. With China's large population of skilled workers, it too is becoming a country where made in China will be synonymous with very high quality. I say this as an American who is happy to see any country succeed and move forward. My hats off to China ! Now if we can all take a chill pill and stop trying too figure out how to destroy each other. There is room enough on the rock we call Earth for all countries to succeed !
no need for humans any more to build circuit boards any more, machines are more accurate and precise and a hell of a lot faster. people just fix and watch the machines. truly amazing and very impressive , they have a fan with blades cooling off people making a fan with no blades. lol . love the Q.C. as they build. very nice fans and great video. more please.
really interesting and it shows how complicated even a fan is. At 14:08, removing the burs we see the edges being removed, but there are ridges on the surface of the fan blade from the moulding which would create noise and turbulence. Generally the quality here doesn't look so good
14:08 is the spot in the video where the blades of the bladeless fan are shown ... it's all a matter of definition, whether a fan without visible blades that still has some hidden blades of any kind can or should be called "bladeless" ...
Looks like good ventilation/filtration at the 5 extra hand soldering stations. I wish they had one press-fit manual station instead (maybe chase it with a light-soldering pass somewhere in the oven) and the vanes had nanotextured finish to farther refine turbulence. Maybe the motor component design has had a 5x engineering pass by now too (more bearing and rotor ventilation, less pin service?) All injection molding needs to be a lignin/bamboo process in production...no paint, only structural color gravure/light pulse. Love the care the electrical passivation painter puts in, even if it should be automated and the assembly parts reduced (base power passthrough: why do I exist?) so the workers can (safer, recovered solvents) enamel or paint fine scrollworks or Space Communism Edition fans and more artistic air inlet screens or something. Electrical safety testing OTL why is this state of the art but good going. Obv. all processes with workers need to have lots of plant scrims (moss or plantings and their grow lamps etc.) but they get in the way of filming, which is done well here.
Highly skilled with perfect precious performance. .Long live all with good health and with needy wealth. Respect females. Mother is goddess and father is god.
It has always rankled me that they call them blade-less. When I first heard of the Dyson unit, I speculated on the technology involved in producing an airflow without a fan. Was ages before I realised it's just marketing hype. Really, marketing will be our downfall. It's a socially accepted way of lying.

It's a good job that is hard to imitate as it happens with blade fans But I hope this is a reason for the high price Also, the appropriate price is a good thing that cannot be overlooked
The actual cost as it leaves China is probably $30. The retail in the U.S. is $189 per miracleprocess's quote. The giant gap is arbitrage in action and our parasitic overclass is perfectly positioned to skim the lion's share. Thank you Milton Friedman and Reaganomics.

After de-dollarisation, over weight/ over pay Americans have to get back to factory again.
When you can not afford imports, you better build everything by yourselves.
When your pay was direct related to quantity of products you produced, then you will learn to shut up and work.😂
@@merrick6484 Typical leftist writing BS.
There are lots of robots but it's clear that no matter how much automation you have, you'll still need workers. White collar jobs are being replaced by AI but robots won't be replacing humans in the factories at least in the next 2 decades imo.

So these is behind the scenes of innumerable Chinese products. Impressive.
although technically bladeless fans have blades, its just that they air the blades create are funneled through a housing that does not have the blades visible to the user, but the blades still exist to create the airflow. sure its not a traditional style blade, it is either in a squirrel cage style like in a car, or like in this video it looks like an impeller you might find in a shop blower or in a vacuum cleaner

There is room enough on the rock we call Earth for all countries to succeed !

really interesting and it shows how complicated even a fan is. At 14:08, removing the burs we see the edges being removed, but there are ridges on the surface of the fan blade from the moulding which would create noise and turbulence. Generally the quality here doesn't look so good
This type of manufacturing is Class 2 or 3. Which means the finished goods are no critical. In turn they can fail without causing catastrophic events.
Not Dyson quality. I wouldn't get excited until I see the performance and hear the Noise Level!

I spy blades on the "bladeless" fan. The impeller assembly has blades, some may call them veins, but still blades
Yeah, calling them "bladeless" is just misleading for these Dyson knockoffs.
It has always rankled me that they call them blade-less. When I first heard of the Dyson unit, I speculated on the technology involved in producing an airflow without a fan. Was ages before I realised it's just marketing hype. Really, marketing will be our downfall. It's a socially accepted way of lying.
Americans are always good with two things, Invention and Marketing.
But never in production.
In the U.S. we don't have companies anymore that can produce on such a scale.
