  • Hydraulic brake install on the Doodlebug minibike / Top speed run
    Installed a hydraulic brake kit on the Doodlebug minibike. It took a total of about ten minutes to do the install. Did a top speed run to test the brakes?

    Hey, @Black66 I have a doodlebug and I bought the same brake but whenever I hit the brakes the caliper moves in such a way that the caliper itself (not just the pads) is getting chewed up real bad. Just wondering if you have any tips on how to stop the caliper from moving around since it has a system on it that makes it move.

    • @mythicalcircle
      @mythicalcircle 6 месяцев назад

      @@warzone7571 My issue was that the idle was set too high, so when I was rolling and hit the brake, the caliper was taking too much load, I turned my idle down to where the tire doesn't spin at all, then put one washer on each side of the mount between the frame and the mounting part of the caliper. Hope this helps, I spent months figuring this one out.
