Since living in Canada I've done a ton of Large/Smallmouth fishing with Chatterbaits. They are my go to search bait. So good and easy to use in grass. Always gets a fish. Can't wait to get back home and use these on Cod. They make a weedless version that would solve the constant snags around wood. Not sure if they make those Cod sized though. Great vid again dude. Love it.
Thanks mate! Yeah they do snag a bit more but it’s just the nature of the lure. They do fish a bit differently to a spinnerbait and that’s why I reckon they’re a good option to have sometimes
Great video Lubin crazy how it all happened so fast and nothing before or after that time if it’s not a moon makes you wonder why only for such a small bite time cheers mate
Thanks Barry. You can sink them down as far as you like before starting the retrieve, I do find they rise up in the water column fairly quickly once in motion
Be interesting ro know how much you use livescope in the river? Especially on a tough bite if you start searching for fish with it, or do you just keep you process of methodically working through the best snags?
It really depends, sometimes I will look for fish with it but I have found some areas of the Murray you are better off casting the snags methodically on a tough bite because the fish are tucked up in the timber and not out and about.
Fantastic video, is this chatterbait especially for big fish like cod or is it the one for America bass did you use the standard clip the chatterbait came with? Thanks 😊👍

Nice video. I find chatterbaits quite snaggy. Not sure if it's me doing something wrong or if that's just how they are.

It's killing me. I feel like I should know the river... Wimmera? Or the Glenelg down steam of Rockland's?
