The creative director, the guy talking in the video. He apparently had the writers on a tight leash for the project lest they be completely removed from it. It's just a rumor though.

The one writer in question left in 2022 or 2023. Works at EA now. Payd stuff will be cosmetics only. Its not life service. Full campaign you can optionally coop. Plus 2 multiplayer modes.
