i feel like Nastia doesn't have super difficult skills but she's able to execute it so well with minimal errors and I honestly love love love that type of gymnastics. her AA vault was so clean and was honestly underscored.
Thank you for judging deductions as well! It’s always frustrating to see people do these types of videos but keep the same E-score. Keep up the good work!
Judging gymnastics is a lot harder than people think. I really think only FIG certified judges are really qualified to do it, so that’s why so few channels do E scores. There is a channel called Flip Fly Tumble, which is run by an ex FIG certified judge, and their videos are fantastic!
One thing about Shawn she always on , there’s no question about any of her connections also her beam routine in qualifying was underscored It should have 16.3-16.4
I think she should have gotten extra bonus for staying on high releve at the end of her pirrouette. That is SO difficult, and she did it each and every time. Plus, she can't help her body type, but she was just as extended for her body as anyone else.
You forgot to deduct Nastia’s excessive arm swings on her front aerial (0.1) her flexed feet on her side somi (0.1), so Nastia’s actual score is 14.2, giving Shawn the gold medal.
Well you could say they misjudged her split leap which I would take a .1 so😵💫looking back I still think nastias routine was better but shawn still killed it and it was slightly harder.
I believe Nastia's beam final score was 16.025, 16.125 was her AA beam score. Other than that, great video! I've always wanted to see how the results would turn out in the current cop, even as a Cheng Fei fan, I firmly believe that the bronze should've went to Anna. Also, very impressive that Nastia still has a 9.000 execution even with the strict judging
I hope you enjoy the video. I tried to post it two days ago but it was taken down due to a copyright issue but now it has fixed. Many artistry deductions were applied but not shown to decrease the time. I will be posting the deductions it the comments when it hiers if someone wants. Leave any suggestions you have it the comments. Have a great day:)
Anna’s sheep jump is easily .3 for shape...not .1. It was not better than Cheng’s. Cheng’s balance check on her back pike was .3...not .1. Cheng also has bent knees and leg separation on her BHS into her dismount may be .1-.3. .1 for form on Nastia’s switch half??? Nastia’s side-somi had a .1 squat. And she lands with her feet a mile apart. That should be .1. I wouldn’t call Nastia’s Onodi + 1/1 wolf jump a “balance check” it was more of a _slow connection_ . Shawn has a low chest on her back *pike* at the end of her mixed series that would be .3. Shawn also has a low chest on her back *tuck* 2nd mixed series that would be .1.
Shawns issue was her flexibility on her leaps and that low chest on her dismount and back full. Other than that her routines were always bang on . Balance checks were odd to see from her. I also find that lot of Nastias connections are in slow motion.. would she be given credit today?
I think if it wasn't for the form on her dismount every time Nastia could have definitely had 10.000 execution for some of her routines during the 2006-2008 CoP
I don’t think Shawn’s front pike has a low chest. No way Nastia doesn’t have more deductions for extremely long pauses as well. Great vid but flawed scoring.
Shawn has always gotten a deduction for her front pike including a low chest and nastia never really had long pauses since it usually took her 0.5-1.5 seconds for her to move
@@kiersontitus7322 Her connections were OK for that time but given how strict judging is now, she definitely wouldn't get credit with them. I've seen gymnasts perform skills quicker and they STILL get a late pause deduction somehow smh. Her form was impeccable though and would still do her good today
Can you do Vanessa Atler’s 1999 floor routine, with the cop and execution analysis? She got a 9.850 and imo it was her best routine before her downfall
You forgot to deduct the flexed feet on Anna’s Side Somi (0.1), the balance check on the switch ring (0.1), the lack of control on her onodi (0.1) her sheep jump should not have been credited since her feet did not reach her hip level (0.3 less start value), and you forgot to deduct her long pause before her dismount (0.1), so Anna’s actual score is 13.200, giving Cheng the bronze medal
@@triplefull7057 also would have really got a 0.3 deduction for that front pike , you should do the 2012 vault finals maybe that would take way less time to make than this video
3:50, does that really count as a squat? If judges mark off of that then they’d mark 999/1,000 front tuck saltos off for that. Landing with perfectly straight legs is dangerous (locked legs) and near impossible if they’re not locked but you just stop and downward squatting through sheer force

You actually need to keep the e-score because that is the official record. You need to compare apples to apples and that is the only way to do it.

Exactly what I thought, even today it's hard to find many deductions from Nastia's routine. She was almost flawless

Mamãe Shawn ganharia de qualquer jeito 😗😗
Anna was so robbed/unfortunate during her time in Beijing, so sad!
No matter how elegant and beautiful nastia’s beam routine is, her connections were always doubted, the famous onodi + wolf jump

Cheng Fei didn’t have a squat on her front tuck. It’s supposed to be a blind landing.

Not really. Her routine had a 0.0 if judged it
Well I still think the insane connection expectations from the modern judges is a bit insane and the slow connection deductions are stupid.
I am already sure I am about to love it.🤩🤩
Can we do a 22-24 CoP version of this?

Take 0.3 from cheng for artistry, and her front tuck posture is absolutely okay
I 100% agree with this
I just love Nastia’s beam so much, Her flexibility and grace is out of this world.
As well as Pavlova’s
I love this kind of video, please compare the AA of Shawn and Nastia.
very cool! very strong and beautiful series and very high notes at the time. the code changed in 2017 so the grades in Tokyo were so low hahaha

Nastia shouldn’t have gotten credit for the Luikin especially in the 2021 code! She loses .4
Omg I was making a video similar to this but with the 2012 bars finals
I know how hard videos like these are to make and I really like this one , Do you think anyone would have placed in front of of Cheng Fei

Front Aerial + BHS + LOSO gets 0.1 in SB right? Also, the Liukin is no longer in the code.
I think they didn’t give nastia the CV because it was slow and wouldn’t have been counted in today’s code

justice for Pavlova
É a avaliação mais injusta que já vi
Tirou 0,3 três vezes seguidas da Shawn sen desequilíbrio nem um
Roubou até o último momento pra tirar o ouro dela

Dislike solely for placement of nastia over shawn, nice to see the difficulty levels of the skills.
