That section beside Green Gully Road is atrocious. I rode it the other way, and had to walk my bike DOWN the hill as I felt it was too dangerous (steep, corrugated and loose rocks) to ride down. The rest of the trail is not too bad, but that slope is to be avoided!!
hi Clem, I am about to buy a bike (after not owning one for about 30 years). I have noticed that you have a mountain bike and a road bike, which do you think is best for riding Melbourne's trails? (thanks for your vids).
Hi,depends what type of trail you heading. If for concrete surface, road bike is good as you can use it on road too. MTB is good when you go on trail contains gravel or even MTB. But MTB technically go slower than road bike so if you go long journey will take longer time. Hope this helps.

Yeah. That part is really steep and dangerous.
