Thanks for the compliment.although I'm not living near this trail but this trail has been one of my favourites, I can't stop myself to introduce it to other cyclist who hasn't been there.
Rushall station is a very confusing barrier on the trail. The first few times I rode it I could not work out how to get back to the trail coming from the North. That awkward underpass and tight turns are a bit of pain. It is not clearly marked - you just have to know. The St George Road zigzag is also a trap for new riders. Fortunately it opens up into a beautiful ride after that.
Indeed. But just lucky I had been ridden on this path for many times so I know where to go. Usually I just ignore the zigzag st Georges road and cross the road directly 🤣
Just a heads up, if you follow the trail to the end and keep going (maybe another K or so, just follow the path) you will get to a bridge, cross the bridge and go left and you can ride behind the freeway.
Yes. I did go further and went under western ring road bridge. I stop there as the trail became a tight gravel and I'm riding a road bike so I didn't go ahead. Maybe next time they improve the path I can continue to northern part of Merri creek trail
Thanks for the video.
Very good video Clem. This is my local trail and I know it very well. Entertaining video, well done! 👍

Such a shame the beautiful trail runs underneath those toxic power lines.
