I upgraded to the Odyssey AI Seven this year. I was fitted at Club Champion in Toronto. Best decision I made. I love the putter. I can honestly say that I am more consistent with the new putter. I don’t make every putt but I’m leaving putts much closer to the hole than ever.
I just bought a triple track two ball, and i love it. I borrowed it first from my uncle when it was in his rental set, went right out and bought it after playing.
Used it in a shop and loved the 2ball 10. Tried it for a season and absolutely hated it. $400 down the drain. Went and bought the Kirkland blade and putting has been my favorite part of the game now. Funny how everyone plays very different!
I play a triple track 2-ball blade, bought off the shelf, no fitting, and have never putted better. It would be likely that if i got fit i would never have ended up in it but its one unbelievable putter for me.
you can probably still do better in my experience with fitting. you probably found something pretty close to optimal from luck. that’s happened to me too before
I see the argument, but it's possible that the shaft/grip difference could have a significant impact on the improvements instead of the putter head. My .02
Timely for me. I have the OG and am intrigued by the new one. Edit: The summation at the end of the video did not match the results. The new putter performed better, but just barely.
I game a SLDR mini-driver. Play off the senior tees and hit about 90 percent of fairways. If you want to score in the seventies, get a mini! The misses aren't huge and you can find your ball.
Dear Mr. Fraser, at 15:36 in this video you said "ALUMINUM". What is this mysterious material? Is it new? Is it old? Are you turning? Is the language barrier falling? You'll be playing in a Canadian Tuxedo next....with a hockey stick!
I just bought an older two ball at Play It Again Sports ( a used and new equipment store) here in Central Maryland. The putter was in excellent shape, ( I don’t think it was ever used) original grip, no divide line across the the two balls, $90. It feels so good. I have a white hot blade too with a thicker grip. Has the loft changed any? Thanks guys!
I still use an original 2001 2-Ball from time to time. Love it
It's the most used putter on the Senior tour.
2-Ball White Hot OG is the most used putter on the Senior PGA Tour.

Thats why putter Fittings are important and overlooked.
Always love old vs new

Just got the 2 Ball White Hot XG used the other day. Already way better than my last putter

I played an OG White Hot #8 for 20+ years and just switched to a mid-blade. Love the white hot feel though.
I have this with a oversize grip. Love it!!
I've got a OG 2002.. Won the scratch championship with it 2007. I use spider X now ...only ever played 3 putters in 25 years.... Imagine that Ian 😂
Aquired an original 2 ball out the old man’s store - brilliant putter - don’t tell him I’ve got it coz he’s no getting it back
I would hope getting fit . You would make the grips the same as putting is a lot of feel and that can change a lot of delivery peramaters

I use the 2 square with stroke lab grip. Fits my sight line better.

Dropped my mezz max for my old 2001 two ball 😂
how come
Yeah y lol
Lol same! Couldn't get the distance control at all on it. Confidence is key and by 2 ball gives me confidence
putters dont really change, Ian and Mikey still use Asner blade putters.
