Danielle, I recently heard a little about a true crime case about a terrible man who actually vlogged us crimes… & “unaliving…” of his wife & daughter.. 😳😥😥
Hi Danielle 👏👏 (lovely name btw)… I just wanted to let you know that this story, and the way you told it, is thee best episode you’ve had in my opinion. It’s so hard to listen to some of these stories; I tend to keep towards the mild ones. The teacher was an idiot, plain n simple, so you had to laugh. But then the buildup to Ashley totally recovering and providing us an inspirational message at the end was so positive and unexpected it blew my mind, so congrats 🥳😃
I have a case request. I would love for you to cover about new vrindaban in West Virginia and all the cruel history that happened involving Keith Ham. I believe it needs more attention than what it has been giving. Very sad yet interesting case.
as a child i never understood why kids had crushes on old ass adults… not blaming her at all btw. it’s the adults responsibility even if the kid does like u like wtf who wants a child
@@minoenaI had crushes on teachers, but it was never any more than innocent crushes. I never acted weird towards them cuz I didn't want to make them uncomfortable 😣😂
I am a teacher and it has become scarily obvious that there are two types of people that become teachers, police, doctors etc. 1. They want to help vulnerable people OR 2. They want power over vulnerable people And the second type is more common than anyone wants to admit
I always said it was: people who succeed at becoming teachers and those who fail at becoming something else. Like the saying goes "if you can't do, reach". I personally have the utmost respect for teachers but god if I don't know way too well there are such terrible ones out there.
To add on to this because I knew someone from high school (I used to be best friends with her) and she became a teacher. But it again is all for the wrong reasons… this girl is a narcissist and LOVES any kind of attention and where do you get THE most attention? Elementary school. So yes theres two types and there’s a 3rd as well and the 2nd and 3rd type, are not the ones who are there for the right reasons.
My last ex (ended aug. 2023) was a teacher. He’s 45 now. I’m 21, his DAUGHTER is 19. I didn’t really see the problem with his age as we were already 2 months in when he told me but I also never bothered to ask because one of his profiles said 30. He made jokes about me getting high so he can molest me and that I should let him r8p3 me….again, HE IS A HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER
That boyfriend Ashley had seemed like a real sweetheart. He even said he didn’t question her phone calls with Sam because it was her life. What a shame. ❤
She wasn’t cheating on him willingly, she was coerced into a relationship by an adult. It’s normal to not suspect that kind of thing. He behaved very appropriately.
@@jubs96 its sad what happened her and i truly wish it didn’t happen and obviously the biggest part of the blame goes to that vile excuse of a human, however she was 17 and she had a boyfriend and she was mature enough to have a boyfriend but not mature enough to know that cheating is bad? Also if i was the boyfriend and my girlfriends former teacher kept on calling her multiple times a day that is such a big red flag I would question it, even if it was a female teacher that’s just weird what could they possibly be talking about for so many times a day. Thats just my opinion and it does go against the grain
@antoBN she was definitely cheating.. I get tired of yall making excuses for girls just because they are girls.. the man was definitely a creep but Ashley is by no means innocent at all
As someone who was 22 teaching 17-18 year olds I still will NEVER understand how a teacher can do that. It does not matter how close in age you are it's never close enough to form a relationship like that with a student. Disgusting.
When I was in middle school, I had a math teacher just like this. He would have the popular girls (12 Y/O's) sit in his chair, on his lap, on his desk and parade around him and it was so disgusting. He was extremely rude and arrogant towards the rest of us and I always hated him. He would scream at me and embarrass/humiliate me in front of the other students. The last day of class, he told me "goodbye Tamara, I'll miss you the most" and I actually flipped him off and left when the bell rang. Then, I kid you not, as soon as I get home that day, my grandparents yell for me to come in the kitchen and on the News, there was his mugshot and he was being arrested for MULTIPLE accounts of statutory rape. He's still in prison to this day thank God but he most likely won't get out until I'm around 35 and I'm 24 now.
I'm furious that this psychopath got such a short sentence. He quite literally murdered her three times and if she managed to survive that, HE gets rewarded by a shorter sentence? They need to change the laws. This guy should NEVER be free again. He was already re-offending the first day out on bail, by calling another potential victim.
This just aggravates on so many levels. The law gonna let a guy who literally attempted to kill her 3 freaking time, lie countless times and almost lured another teen who was thankful stoped by her parents in time. Just basically given a light sentence, so he can just do it again. This why I question the law. But I am very relieved the girl despite all the pain she endured from that psycho, was able to recover miraculously.
aside from all of that, he was also apparently talking to other high schoolers as well. he clearly has a problem that isn’t gonna go away, he should have never seen the light of day again. he can’t be trusted around children whatsoever, and that will not change.
Only halfway through but Jeremy strikes me as incredibly sweet and mature for his age - poor kid, I feel bad for Ashley and her family, but especially bad for Jeremy. His heart must have been absolutely shattered when he found out that Sam wasn’t the good guy he thought he was
Yeah, that was one thing that really shook me - he really trusted Sam. Jeremy is definitely an overlooked victim in all of this and I hope he's doing well.
He is an amazing, kind, wonderful young man. He tried to stay by Ashley's side during her entire recovery, but Ashley told him to move on with his life, and told him they would remain friends. She didn't feel it would be fair to him since he was still young and healthy, and she needed to focus her entire life on her recovery, which took a very long time. She had to relearn to speak, eat/swallow, then feed herself, and walk.
Watched her case on the True Crime Daily channel and the fact that she not only went back the place where police found her, but also managed to laugh while being there, just proves how unbelievably strong she is. Despite everything she's been through since that night, the trauma, the rehabilitation, and now she has a family of her own and seems to have a good life. I wish nothing but the best for her and every other abuse victim out there. ❤
I love how the officer does not hold back his laughter at Sam's "concerns" about his potential prison life. It's so great when they go from "we want to help you" during interrogation to "I don't give a damn about you" after the suspect confesses.😂 Sam is truly a monster.
My niece testified in a trial of a PE teacher accused and convicted in San Diego a few years ago. I was so proud she faced him. There were 3 or 4 girls involved and my niece was the only one to face him.
I hate that she had to be put in that situation in the first place, but I hope she knows just how brave she is. The thought of being in that situation--even as an adult--is terrifying, and I hope she's very proud of her courage.
I married my ex when i was 18 and he was 28. I didn't realize there was a problem at the time. We lasted 15 yrs with 3 children and he is truly the devil. I was groomed and deceived for many many years. Thank god I got out! Its been an ongoing challenge to adjust to a whole different world. My life literally was manipulated into making him happy. Freedom is fantastic!
Unfortunately there aren't many happy endings like this 😢..I have goosebumps!!! I'm an RN and I was thinking if she survived she'd be a Quadraplegic. She survived for 30 hrs with a broken neck! Barely breathing, no supplemental oxygen and her brain and body recovered. This is a modern day miracle. This story is sad, yet such an inspiration. ❤❤
It would be interesting, though probably impossible, to figure out exactly how she made it. There must have been an incredible series of small miracles.
@@maryeckel9682I was thinking the same, temperature, even the bugs biting her face would have helped with blood flow and body's own adrenaline to keep her alive perhaps. I'm glad he at least told the cops were she was at.the lead cop played a blinder with the questioning.
One of the teachers at my highschool married a student 6 months after she graduated and since she had graduated and was 18 years old, nothing happened to this teacher. Not only did nothing happen to this teacher but he actually got promoted to vice principal a couple of years later. Nobody can convince me that he wasn’t doing anything inappropriate before she graduated.
From england, we had a teacher who got into a relationship with 16 year old when she left highschool he suddenly left school after her year had left school to find out he was having a relationship with her and went on to have a child with her he was late 30s early 40s truly disgusting 🤢
@@ridinwithjakethere is a difference between having a huge age difference as ADULTS and having a huge age difference when one of the partners do not even have a fully developped brain and is a minor...
The fact that he married her right after she turned 18 is also a HUGE RED FLAG, but would easily appear as a good thing, like hey this is serious for him. It only means that now, she can’t look for other options, NOW everything she does he would have a say in it, NOW if he wants a family he can with no guilt demand it even if she’s too young to be a mother. Being older has its advantages. And when the younger person is literally below 20, they’re more easily manipulated and controlled. And nobody can say shit, cause they’re married. He probably realised as an adult he needs to have an actual personality to get a woman, which I guess he didn’t. And hence went for a child, and married her before her brain fully developed. *What a predator*
Does anyone think Danielle always looks so beautiful and that her makeup is always so good? the story telling style of the videos feels like a big sister talking to you and telling you something they've heard. Every video is consistently high-quality, straight forward and well laid out. Also, Merry Christmas to anyone reading this
Thank you for showing compassion and not blaming this child for being SAd.Too many people still believe that children are somewhat "responsible" for their own sexual abuse (ie that they can consent) and it needs to stop.
They really should just bring students in and ask if any teachers make them want to change their behavior/outfits or make them feel uncomfortable. Freshman year the second years told us whose classes to sit in the back for, always wear your hoodie, don't stay after class with etc. 😮 we didn't realize th3 adults didn't know they were creeps.
Honestly. A teacher I had got fired for being in a "relationship" with one of his students right after she graduated... allegedly. There was apparently enough evidence to insinuate that the relationship started well before her graduation. The worst part is that I wasn't even expecting that from that specific teacher. There was another one I had that gave off all of the signs that he was attracted to his female students 🤢 there was also a teacher that was very obviously flirting with a friend of mine when we were seniors in highschool 🤢 we joked about it so casually, unfortunately. My mom even had a teacher in middle school who couldn't keep eye contact with girls -specifically- because he was too busy looking at their chest🤢 people want to believe it is a rare thing but my experience and observation has stated otherwise.
I suggest everyone watch the part when the police found her in the woods.... Because that one officer almost broke down into complete and utter tears ,he was so overwhelmed that she was alive, you could hear him crying ...almost sobbing.... She is an amazing young lady!
I remember this case. This monster almost killed her. He also decided to go line dancing after he attacked her. He actually thought he got away with it. Thanks for sharing this case.
I love survivor stories…and the survivors themselves! They typically discount all the praise we heap on them for their bravery, but there is no denying the strength and resilience and will-to-live that enabled Ashley to recover. And although the police and prosecutors might have liked to have a statement from her about what happened, I’m glad for her that she doesn’t remember. Thank you, Danielle, for covering this case; it made my day. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ for both you and Ashley.
I live in Illinois and remember hearing about this case on the news. Ashley and I are the same age. I am so happy Ashley is doing well and pray for her continued healing 🙏🏿🫶🏿
I used to be a tutor and teen mentor and all of the abuse trainings these days warn you that abusers tend to be well-liked and charming in their places of work. They get kids to trust them by treating them too much like adults/friends. So unfortunately, what Danielle experienced and what happened in this case are actually far more typical than most people realize. The creepy janitor probably just hates being there and has poor social skills. It's the popular charmers you usually have to look out for. Also, funnily enough, one of the training courses we took about sexual abuse was titled "Meet Sam".
This is so true…. The man who abused me is well known around town and everyone thinks he is this amazing father, boss, Christian man… it makes it so much harder to come forward with the truth because they have so many people backing them up…
@akiakane97 I hope some day you're able to come forward. It takes a lot of courage to do so, but even by just surviving you've proven that you're a strong person.
He was recently released on parole, April 22 2024. He should be in prison for life, especially considering his victim is still alive and has to live with the fear of him being out of prison.
The thing is, this would not magically be okay if she was 18. A 26 year old dating an 18 year old instead of a 17 year old is still creepy as absolute hell.
I was 19 when I started dating my now-husband, who was then 31, and hell, even I agree with you on principle. (His friends were _ruthless_ about the fact that he would dare date someone so much younger.) I will say there is a difference that lies in actively seeking out younger partners who can be manipulated vs just happening to date someone younger. There's an inherent power imbalance with these kinds of age gaps no matter how you look at it, and it's always the responsibility of the older partner to work to restore a balance if they're actually interested in a healthy relationship.
@@parkerlewisiv7053 Like I said, as someone in one of these relationships (happily so, I will add), it's the imbalance of life experience and economic status. It's not that the age gap itself is a problem but rather the type of person who regularly seeks out younger partners because they want to control and manipulate them. It is unfortunately common and something young people should be taught to be wary of.
@@Ad1nfernum BUT TOI SAY THAT IS TO SAY SOMEONE OLDER CAN'T BE CONTROLLED AND MANIPULATED THAT'S MORE BASED ON PERSONALITY TRAITS THAN AGE AND MATURITY IS ALSO SOMETHING THAT IS BASED OF THE PERSON I'VE DATED WOMAN IN HER 40'S AND SHE HAD THE MATURITY OF A 12 YEAR OLD AND I'VE DATED A WOMAN IN HER EARLY 20'S WHO WAS FAR MORE MATURE MENTALLY, SO THESE FACTORS YOU SPEAK ON ARE MORE RELATIVELY BASED THAN AGE BASED, AT LEAST IN MY OPINION
I married on my 18th birthday to my 24 year old husband. Been together 30 years. It was the 1990's, all my friends had older boyfriends. NOW we know it's not RIGHT but back then no one thought anything of late teen girls seeing lads in their 20's. Both me and my husband see things very differently these days having our own kids and grandkids.
I’ve heard of this case, but hearing Danielle break it down is a MUST! Thank you Danielle for making amazing content and the voice you give to the victims! I hope Ashley’s family has found peace after the horrific incident of their daughter, friend, and relative. I’m so glad that there was such good and urgent police response. So glad she got justice. Edit: the way Danielle’s tone changes each time in “No. No. No….”
Although it’s a difficult story to hear, I’m so happy Ashley is alive and living a good life . Many of these stories do not have a happy ending. Thank you for sharing this one. It’s horrible but with a tolerable ending.
Love seeing the way Danielle has to fight back a smile while talking about Ashley making her recovery. Your empathy is so lovely and it's the reason I keep coming back to your videos.
This case brought tears to my eyes. Years ago, my cousin was seeing a band teacher. She was a senior in high school. Her parents had no problem with the relationship and actually had him over for dinners, etc. And her mother later tried to justify the relationship and actually stated that they never had sex until her graduation night. So ridiculous. Among other factors, who would tell her mother that, much less have her tell other people?
Unfortunately, I feel like this happens more than it's reported. I had a similar experience getting creep vibes from my "charming" gym teacher in high school and stayed away from him. It wasn't until after graduation I heard he had an inappropriate relationship with a girl in a younger grade than I. For that, he was let go but it was hush hush.
There was a gym teacher that was rumored to be sleeping with the students in the high school he taught at so what did the school do? They moved him to the elementary school. We also had another teacher that was extremely flirtatious with students, was rumored to have slept with students, would say inappropriate things to female students like that he preferred plus size women because they’re more willing to do certain things and I also remember that he’d always carry midol on him to give to students if they needed it. He ended up being talked to by the police, let go and then went on to marry a former student.
Not gonna lie - this doesn't normally happen, but I started tearing up when Danielle was describing Ashley making a full recovery. She is so strong, and I hope that she is living the most beautiful life. Personally, I hope Sam is denied parole; a person capable of such cruelty really shouldn't be around the general population, unless he has gone through some major therapy to address that narcissistic streak and anger management.
Wow! My heart literally leapt with joy when you said that she started recovering! ❤She is a miracle ✨️ Thank you for this story, as a victim of child and adult s/a, the survival stories are so inspiring❤ Sending lots of love, healing and prayers to this amazing woman, her family and everyone else who has survived abuse xx❤🙏✨️
I had a P.E teacher in highschool that was very very close to a student, he ended up having a affair with her and is now doing jail time. She was 15 and he was 30. He also had a wife and child at home. Its horrible.. He only got caught because he called it off and she went to his wife. As always thank you for sharing the story with such respect. ❤
It’s horrifying how so many of us have stories like this. When I was young there was a teacher in the high school end (who cheated with his wife’s maternity leave replacement but that’s not the main point here) and he would grade student’s work based on how attractive he found them. He got run out of town because he was a disgrace but he still works as a teacher to this day….
When I was 13 I had a 21 year old "boyfriend", it wasn't till I was an adult that I realized how wrong it was....wish I had had a parent who would have been there for me...
I know when I was 15 I was dating a 23 year old. We dated for 6 years. He was so controlling and abusive. He was in and out of jail. My life would be so different now if I never met him. In a good way.
I feel bad for the boyfriend. Between being a suspect, his gf cheating on him , and knowing at the same time it was by a grown man who groomed her , and then knowing what was done to her.
Genuine question, does it count as "cheating" if she was groomed? Like.... obviously she isn't to blame for the whole grooming thing, but is she to blame for "cheating"? I genuinely don't know the answer to this question.
@@allie-marie2212 that is a really hard question, because he did groom her, at the same time she was 17 and in a relationship, she had to a little bit, know that she was doing wrong against her boyfriend when she has sex with him. This is not a victim blaming whatsoever, it is just hard to say in this case!! regardless, I’m so happy that she made a full recovery, and is doing well in life
@@allie-marie2212honestly I think it will differ from person to person I feel like some people can’t grasp the whole idea of grooming and what it does to a persons mind
with her trying to end it i strongly feel like she felt terrible for what was happening, imo there was no way for her to consent in this situation so it wasn’t cheating it was her being taken advantage of and not exactly knowing what to do abt it
I’ve seen this case portrayed before but never seen with such clarity! Thank you for giving Ashley a voice and I’m so happy Ashley has gone on to have a good lif and she’s helping others. Note to parents: be ever cautious if an older adult is paying extra attention to your teenager or visa versa!
Being in a hospital for 2 months and watching this from a hospital laptop makes me inspired and happy , thank you Danielle share this and Ashley for being strong and remind me
What an incredible story of survival. She should be on that tv show "I Survived". So horrible what that maniac did to her. I hope they never let him out. His sick narcissism makes him too dangerous to let out.
When I was in middle school, we had a creepy student teacher in gym. Apparently he liked looking up shirts of 13 year-old girls doing pushups. I never felt uncomfortable around him, but we were all called in to the Principal and Counselor for interviews. Yuck. A friend of mine transferred to a new school system because I think she was his main target. Ugh, this reminds me of that whole ordeal.
I had a math teacher that all of us girls aged 14 and 15 year olds, liked way too much and if any of the girls would say something out of line. He would kick you out of his class for the day for being inappropriate. He never took anything passed teaching and I could see he felt uncomfortable in those situations. There is a line that you DO NOT cross with children. Its disgusting!
I just have to say, we had both a female and male teacher that were married themselves, but students found attractive, including myself. But they were NOT creepy whatsoever. They were completely aware but not once did I ever hear about any kind of relationship with a student. Actually students would joke about the teachers cheating on each other and drama between the teachers😂 I think putting a bunch of young individuals going through puberty and learning about themselves might bring out some crushes that are inappropriate but for the TEACHER to act on it, and act this way is beyond disgusting. 🤮
We had 2 different creepy male teachers at my school that had relationships with students. Then we had one who was really attractive who was not creepy. He actually sent girls out of class before for making inappropriate comments about him.
As a teacher there are clear boundaries between teacher and student that are part of your professional conduct and indeed your professional ethics. Regardless of how close in age the teacher and pupil could be, you never cross that line.
This case gives me such chills every time I've heard it! Thanks as always for covering these cases and spreading awareness! Someone could be watching this right now who really needed an outside perspective to keep themselves safe. ❤
This happened 10 minutes from my home. I've never clicked a video so fast! This really shocked the community, it was so horrible. Thank you so much for telling the story!
Here in the US we also call it PE some do call it gym. I listen to your stories, I hate that the schools don't do a deeper background check on their staff. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with any monster., we also had one in our school and it was in PE as well. We were made to take showers before class was over. I would lie and say I did, just to get out of class before the bell rang for the next class. Thank you, for the stories you picked out. I love how you break down the stories that you tell, it's nice to know you have feelings and it shows. I choke up on most of these stories you tell. I also tell my family to keep it down when I am listening to your RUclips 🚨channel. Thanks again, here watching from Anderson IN.
I know a guy who banged his teacher at his senior formal. He married her about 10 years later and they have a bunch of kids. He was 17 and she was at least 24. I grew up in the 90s and this kind relationship was common. By today's standards it's all off but believe me, it was not seen as grooming. Unless the child was under 16 and the age gap was pronounced, people didn't take much notice. As a former teenager i can confirm that some teenagers are full on. We hope the adults will guard and respect those kids but often they take advantage of the situation. It's sad.
I've heard about this case before, but I absolutely love the compassion you have added to it. You're truly an advocate for the victims in the stories you cover God bless you!!
The "I didn't want to turn around and check on her because if she was lying there, ran over by a car, I would not handle it because I have a weak stomach" excuse deserves some kind of award, because why the hell did he say that😅😅😅😅😅
Ashley, you are a true survivor! I was so scared multiple times throughout the story she was gone. But i was so happy she was alive!. Thank you for sharing that story. I admire how honest and emotional you are telling us the story.
The "I have a weak stomach" part omg... How can someone "innocent" could ever say something like that? I'm so glad he got caught that quickly, who knows hoe many other young girls could have ended up way too close to him...
When I was in high school we had SEVERAL teachers in the 1990s who were exactly like this. In my freshman year the Health teacher who was married with a baby and was an outrageous flirt. He got a Senior pregnant which cost him his job, his marriage and kid, and his reputation...surprisingly he married the student (her family had money) and she had the baby. The next was the Female gym teacher who used to get a power trip by forcing us to shower in front of her, if we didn't then she would fail us for the semester and we would have to retake in my case she would not let me leave until she saw me shower and still failed me and threatened my graduation. It wasn't until she was caught trying to do the same to the boys that anything happened. The history teacher liked to look down girls tops, he failed me when I yelled at him in front of the class for it. He tried to take me into another classroom for a discussion but after the gym teacher I wasn't having it. I yelled loud enough to draw a crowd that he was a pervert and to go ahead and fail me. He was forced into retirement when other girls came forward. Last...the Math teacher who was caught masturbating in his car while watching a girls softball game.
I literally look forward to these videos every Sunday. I watch them as I do my skin and hair care and the way you break these cases down and show so much empathy is really awesome and inspiring. I LOVE your content.
i just graduated from freeburg in may and had TOTALLY forgotten about this guy because no one here ever talks about him‼️‼️ this is so crazy i would never expect to see something from my town on your channel omg

I swear you're the only one covering cases I've never heard. Everyone else seems to be covering the same cases. Thank you so much for doing your own thing and being original.
I am beyond happy that Ashley survived this, omg im crying like a baby. I watch a lot of true crime and I could of swore I had heard this case before but I thought she had been murdered, so you can imagine my surprise when you aid she was alive. Thank you God for these beautiful miracles!
Summer wells , the lost baby from TN , Amber Lundgren Asheville NC, and the Kiely Rodney case all weigh heavy on my heart and I would love to see you bring your amazing story telling talent to shed light on these cases and help them find justice ❤
When I was in 9th grade the gym teacher slept with a ton of students. She was in her early 30's she slept with 3 boys that she got caught with and 2 that were in my freshman class that it couldn't be proven she slept with them and they refused to testify against her. The older 3 were 18 so no charges stuck. The worst things that happened were she lost her job and her license. Mrs. G if ever see this you're sick I hope you are never allowed within a 100 miles of any kids ever again.
I truly love how you make me feel for the victims. You have the talent telling these true crime stories and making your listeners feel so much sorrow and love for them. Your truly amazing keep up the good work. I'm one of your new subscribers all the way from Alabama in America.
That's so adorable that you used to go line dancing with your grandmother. I used to go to bingo with my older relative and I was the only teen so I could relate.
I just love your attitude to this one. A few of my school friends were in relationships with teachers and it was never my thing, I never got it either! 🤢
Yay a new video! Thank you Danielle for your videos. The time and effort you put into these is amazing, also how you give the victims a voice again is heart warming. Not only is your content enjoyable to watch but your makeup looks are stunning! 🩷
I have watched a lot of true crime stories so I'm pretty desensitized but when Danielle said Ashley had made it I was close to tears but when she showed the pictures of Ashleys recovery the tears were streaming! What a strong and brave person 🙏 I'm so glad she made it through that ordeal & is now happy & healthy with 2 kids of her own. Thank you Danielle for sharing this true survivor story 👏
So glad Ashley is doing well! I hops she is happy and thriving. Sam is an excuse of a human being, a creep, I hope he is having a terrible time in jail
I can't thank you enough, as always, Danielle ❤❤❤ I was about to unalive myself because I'm struggling so horrendously with both emotional and physical pain. I'm so so sorry for the overshare. I'm not looking for attention. I just want Danielle to know how important her work is, because it literally saves lives 🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏
Hey my dear, an internet stranger wants you to know that things WILL get better, and it will get easier. Reach out to friends & family if you have them, or a crisis line if not, because sharing your pain makes it more bearable. I'm hoping this little message of support will lighten your day enough to keep going. You got this!
My hubby came across your channel probably because I’m always watching true crime, and he sent me one of your videos. I’ve been obsessed ever since! This makeup brings out your gorgeous eyes! PS I was thrilled to hear of the happy ending in this video. It’s rare in true crime stories.
Danielle you have become my favorite True Crime channel, you are the best at telling these stories and you are always so respectful and kind with the victims. I subscribed not so long ago and I’m binge watching all your videos!
This case was such a huge sigh of relief that she not only survived but recovered! Great job on this case as usual Danielle, I truly appreciate your hard work & prefer when you cover lesser-known cases.
I can listen to you tell stories all day😊 you can feel your empathy and compassion for all the victims. Thankyou for your amazing research into these cases❤
I rarely comment but hearing this young ladys story had me in full blown tears. She is a definitely a survivor and strong. Thank you for sharing her story so gracefully
Hi Danielle, hi Daisy 🌼 I remember the story and his behavior was so disgusting because he was the adult. It was so tragic how it almost ended.. I think a lot of times you get a good looking gym teacher and of course you find young girls that are attracted, and the gym teacher will take full advantage of that and they know better. This particular guy made me so sick because he truly is a narcissist. It’s not just Gym teachers. There was a female teacher just a few years ago that took advantage of a 13-year-old boy and his father found text messages that she was sending to her son and discovered they were having sex. The teacher is now in prison and then of course you have, so many cases like that where you have an adult that clearly takes advantage of a student that’s under age and to do something like that you’re mind as an adult truly has to be warped. When I was in eighth grade, we had a science teacher that was quite handsome and the girls in my class had a huge crush on him and you can see how he was enjoying it. he was later fired. I never knew why and I never asked. I’m so happy Ashley made it and Sam should NEVER be let out of prison!!
It was kinda common in my high school and Jr high for teacher / student relationships. In fact our debate teacher married one of his students right after she graduated. In Jr high our art teacher was very handsome and every girl threw themselves at him. He ended up having long affair with a student and he was forced to resign. There were other cases too. Thankfully no one tried to kill any.
I also had a teacher like this at my high school…. And he got fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a student… Why does this happen so much?!? Sick.

Very sad yet interesting case.
as a person who works around kids, it's always so mind boggling how anyone (in their right mind) would be attracted to a literal child😭🤚🏾
as a child i never understood why kids had crushes on old ass adults… not blaming her at all btw. it’s the adults responsibility even if the kid does like u like wtf who wants a child
@@minoena it's fucked from all angles😭
@minoena It's a normal part of child sexual development and adults should not exploit it.
"in their right mind" is the key word 😢
@@minoenaI had crushes on teachers, but it was never any more than innocent crushes. I never acted weird towards them cuz I didn't want to make them uncomfortable 😣😂
I am a teacher and it has become scarily obvious that there are two types of people that become teachers, police, doctors etc.
1. They want to help vulnerable people
OR
2. They want power over vulnerable people
And the second type is more common than anyone wants to admit
This ‼️‼️
I always said it was: people who succeed at becoming teachers and those who fail at becoming something else.
@@GrimNSO Yiiiiikes! Glad you are out of that situation. So bizarre to look back on things like that and get a clear picture of how creepy it was
Miracles should not qualify them to less punishment. It was meant to be a murder. He thought it was a murder. He should get charged with murder.
That boyfriend Ashley had seemed like a real sweetheart. He even said he didn’t question her phone calls with Sam because it was her life. What a shame. ❤
Maybe if he questioned her and cared who his girlfriend is talking to this wouldn’t have happened and prevented, she was also cheating on him so yeah
I get tired of yall making excuses for girls just because they are girls.. the man was definitely a creep but Ashley is by no means innocent at all
@@Bianca-jf9ho hope you get picked!
Oh my fugging God.
You reek of envy because he didn't like you
@@mariaimperatricedamore1639are you having fun? :)
@@tinybed I'm speaking the truth. I'm sorry you feel trapped in the usual woke reality of victim mentality at all costs
@@GraceKoroma-uy6wk yes, exactly like your very poor grammar. Before insulting who's writing the truth learn to spell, you'd be less ridiculous
You're 100% right. Just because she survived doesnt mean he shouldn't be charged with murder. Disgusting.
Yeah seriously. So awful he’s absolutely going to reoffend first chance he gets.
The law doesn't take kids seriously.
Only halfway through but Jeremy strikes me as incredibly sweet and mature for his age - poor kid, I feel bad for Ashley and her family, but especially bad for Jeremy. His heart must have been absolutely shattered when he found out that Sam wasn’t the good guy he thought he was
I thought the same thing! When he said "it's her business I trust her" or whatever I went "oh man what a sweet boy..." bless his heart
Mature and naive don't go hand in hand.
The thought of being in that situation--even as an adult--is terrifying, and I hope she's very proud of her courage.
she is a warrior, i am so sorry for her experiences and hope she heals
Geez it's bad enough to go after one but multiple? 🤢🤬
Never met a Pisces man with good morals

On a side note her boyfriend Jeremy seemed genuinely so kind hearted and sweet I hope he’s doing well also
Thanks for sharing a survivor’s story. Unfortunately, we hear of too many people who lose their lives to monsters like this guy.
I'm happy you're free!!! ❤
My whole face lit up when you described her recovery. What a remarkable person!
@@rainbows9060yes, the ants keeping her awake helped keep her alive.
I have a feeling there’s laws against that in England thankfully
From england, we had a teacher who got into a relationship with 16 year old when she left highschool he suddenly left school after her year had left school to find out he was having a relationship with her and went on to have a child with her he was late 30s early 40s truly disgusting 🤢
Younger-older relationships can be genuine and beautiful. Don’t judge. When I was younger I always wanted to be with older. It was MY preference.

Thank you for showing compassion and not blaming this child for being SAd.Too many people still believe that children are somewhat "responsible" for their own sexual abuse (ie that they can consent) and it needs to stop.
"There was a teacher like that at my school"
Oh honey - they are at every school, it's no secret
Wow
yeah... we know. we also watched this video obviously. but thanks for the echo
A FULL RECOVERY?! That’s just, that’s amazing
This is just absolutely amazing that Ashley survived & is doing well. It really is a miracle! 🙏💙
The fact that the poor girl survived her ordeal makes her stronger than I ever could be. How she survived is beyond me but thankfully she did.
Also, funnily enough, one of the training courses we took about sexual abuse was titled "Meet Sam".
the victim's name is ashley, danielle made the video
@meghanshinn5966 Danielle spoke about a teacher she herself knew that other girls liked, but she found him to be creepy.
@trudilawrence9899 ohhh thank you i misread
I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S WEIRD ABOUT TWO CONSENTING ADULTS, WHY AND WHEN DID AGE DIFFERENCES EVEN BECOME A THING?

It's a miracle she survived! ❤❤ What an amazing young woman! I pray she can get through the trauma of this horrible crime done to her. 😢
Among other factors, who would tell her mother that, much less have her tell other people?
was that at freeburg and decades ago? the former band teacher married a student.
@@joanna7350 No. They never married.

He only got caught because he called it off and she went to his wife.

Sounds like our former police chief. He ended up getting forced into retirement because he was being publicly called out for preying on teenage girls.

This is one of those situations where it's not cheating per say.
@@allie-marie2212
that is a really hard question, because he did groom her, at the same time she was 17 and in a relationship, she had to a little bit, know that she was doing wrong against her boyfriend when she has sex with him.

This case had me in tears. So well told. What an absolute legend Ashley is. Bless Jeremeys heart too.
Actually students would joke about the teachers cheating on each other and drama between the teachers😂
I think putting a bunch of young individuals going through puberty and learning about themselves might bring out some crushes that are inappropriate but for the TEACHER to act on it, and act this way is beyond disgusting.

It's sad.

I am So glad Ashley was strong and made a full recovery.
Yay. This is what I needed on this cold, rainy Sunday ❤❤❤ I really love how sweet and compassionate u are. And how u take the time to reflect on the victims' lives. ❤❤ ur amazing! ❤❤
We appreciate Danielle's dedication and hard work. Keep working hard.
i can't believe he's out now, what has the justice system come to??
I swear you're the only one covering cases I've never heard. Everyone else seems to be covering the same cases. Thank you so much for doing your own thing and being original.
Thank you Danielle for continuing to spread light on cases I have never heard of. I appreciate all your hard work and dedication ❤
💜💜💜💜
I just love your attitude to this one. A few of my school friends were in relationships with teachers and it was never my thing, I never got it either! 🤢
Yay a new video! Thank you Danielle for your videos. The time and effort you put into these is amazing, also how you give the victims a voice again is heart warming. Not only is your content enjoyable to watch but your makeup looks are stunning! 🩷
Why did I get teary eyed when you said she made a full recovery 🥹 you go girllllll
I can't thank you enough, as always, Danielle ❤❤❤
I was about to unalive myself because I'm struggling so horrendously with both emotional and physical pain.
I'm so glad you're still here.
My hubby came across your channel probably because I’m always watching true crime, and he sent me one of your videos. I’ve been obsessed ever since!
This makeup brings out your gorgeous eyes!
PS I was thrilled to hear of the happy ending in this video. It’s rare in true crime stories.
Bless Jeremy he seems like such a nice guy! I hope to god Ashley and her family can heal
As someone born near St. Louis, I can say it's pronounced like "Lewis" where Louisville in Kentucky is more "Loo-ah-vul" so take that as you will lol
I can listen to you tell stories all day😊 you can feel your empathy and compassion for all the victims. Thankyou for your amazing research into these cases❤
Wow that's a story and a half! What an inspiration she is. I wish her the best!
I rarely comment but hearing this young ladys story had me in full blown tears. She is a definitely a survivor and strong. Thank you for sharing her story so gracefully
Hi Danielle, hi Daisy 🌼
I remember the story and his behavior was so disgusting because he was the adult.
I look forward to these videos every week. Your dedication is much appreciated, Danielle. Hope you are good & hope Daisy is doing well too🌼 🐾🐶 ❤
It was kinda common in my high school and Jr high for teacher / student relationships. In fact our debate teacher married one of his students right after she graduated.
In Jr high our art teacher was very handsome and every girl threw themselves at him. He ended up having long affair with a student and he was forced to resign. There were other cases too. Thankfully no one tried to kill any.
Where?
I live less than 15 miles by all these places in a suburb outside of St. Louis. How TF have I not heard of this?!? 🤯 WOW!
made me cry to hear she was able to recover at all, she's amazing
I also had a teacher like this at my high school…. And he got fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a student…
Why does this happen so much?!? Sick.
