Would love to do this but not sure where to list our animals anymore. On Craigslist when trying to sell rabbits someone would constantly flag the post. That triggers craigslist to take it down. We would have to relist everyday and sometimes several times in a day. Facebook won’t let you list animals is my understanding. I don’t do Facebook but my husband does and we’ve tried. Maybe there’s a place I’m not sure of or you’re selling word of mouth but if you have any suggestions that’d be great. 👍🏻👍🏻
1. why not put the newly hatched chicks in the brooder instead of leaving them for TWO WHOLE DAYS in the incubator without food and water? 2. The one week brooder seemed to be open without heat. Am I wrong?
You can risk unhatched chicks by drastically lowering the humidity in the incubator. Chicken chicks are fine for up to 3 days, the yolk sustains them. It also depends on the incubator - I have a smaller Borotto and the well is very deep, if we're fast the humidity doesn't drop at all. But we still don't open it more than once every 12 hours or so.

What months do you hatch and when do you shut down for the year?
We basically do it year round. December and January we usually don’t hatch any.
