Bought one of these 07s in 2013-2014 for $25k with 100k, then got totaled by the hail damage. Plus had some Electrical Problems Loved this Body style so much Saved and bought Another! But this time it was a 07 Yukon Denali XL ! 6.2 V8 babyy!FULLY LOADED!
@southsidefroskee it's on my Channel made a video while it was happening with the knowledge I got now it was just a loose ground somewhere. Locks would lock and unlock car would jerk randomly not worth putting my safety at risk to look like I'm balling with a Cadillac Escalade
This is an excellent review. You had the music low and it was pleasing. I am about to purchase a used or certified escalade but an newer model. You came me insight because I am a short woman. Keep the information coming.
Glad you enjoyed this new review vcalibur1. I love how the Escalade has that pedal assist button for smaller people like yourself. it surly does help so you can drive a Big Luxury SUV! Have a great night:) Chad
Sounds wayyy better than the 2015+ and have that muscle car rumble. GM pussed out on us and made all the K2 and T1 trucks quieter for who knows what reason 🤦🏽, I picked out and took home a 14' ESV Premium last Friday since it looks better, sounds better and was literally half the price!
Things to know about these trucks. 1. They will develop a lift knock (the lifters are know for going bad) 2. The exhaust headers and or header gaskets will need to be replaced at least twice in its life time. 3. They have one of the worst TCMs so that will need to be rebuilt because the solenoids will get clogged. 4. The headlights get water in them because GM decided they wanted to have the bottom completely exposed. 5. You want to install an upgraded aftermarket oil pump and transmission cooler those are what cause the engine and tranny to fail in these land yachts. 6. The 3rd row is one of the most useless things unless you have a toddler. (At the end of the seat the floor starts) 7. You will get a warning message at one point or another telling you to service traction control or stabilatrac. You have to tape your steering wheel to your column and take it out and replace the steering wheel positioning sensor. 8. The rear auto lift hatch will develop 1 of 7 if not all 7 issues. Lift shocks will wear out, lock actuator will malfunction, power motor will fail, exterior rear glass release switch will fall out, the exterior lift gate handle will go bad, and interior hatch let down switch will go bad. 9. The lighting is garbage on this suv, upgrade everything to LEDs you won’t regret it. After all it’s nice to be able to see/be seen at night.
Wow that is amazing looking Escalade so very nice and it is in a very amazing and wonderful condition need to be cleaned on the outside but so love that looking Cadillac
My mom has one and I don’t think she has ever floored it and maintained it very well we also don’t live in America full time anymore so it’s not gaining too many miles hopefully it is a future classic Like I’ve never even heard the engine go above 3,000 RPM
I have one my self 😄 I love my Escalade. Separates you from other SUVs when you drive this beast in the roads. Sad part doesn’t provide USB can’t connect your iPhone for some Pandora smh.
I just picked up a 1 owner, dealer maintained, garaged, non-smoker perfect condition 14' ESV Premium blk/blk for 19k and ended up getting her for 17k. Highly Recommended. I'd go for 2009+ but all are solid choices, ditto for Yukon/Denali/Tahoe/Burban/Avalanche!
Well the one in my video is already sold. I'm not sure what issues these Escalades have. Every time I've filmed one they are always in pretty good condition.
The owner of the dealership asked me not to drive it, because he had a customer in North Carolina that wanted to purchase it and thats really why the video was made so the man in NC could see the car before he purchased it. of course I still wanted to share this video with all of you. Sorry for no test drive, but this Cadillac ended up selling to the man in NC. thanks, Chad
America is the best yes, plus I’ll bet that’s not a cold start too the sound in person is absolutely amazing I have one a 2007 Escalade absolutely amazing I recommend buying it 😁
I love my 2011 Escalade but at 117k the motor blew. I was very disappointed, always serviced at the dealership cost me 7k for new crate engine, Cadillac gave me 2k towards the repairs on the 9k repair, because I own three Cadillacs , But I felt at that mileage they should have done more. So much for American quality
Maybe the dealership didn't do the services as required. Also never take your vehicles at the dealer to be serviced. I have a 03 Yukon with 162k and no failures with the engine
It was probably because of the AFM(active fuel management) system which disables 4 cylinders at certain speeds. 6.2’s after 2010 has AFM, but 6.2’s before doesn’t have AFM..
Instill have my 2007 Escalade with the original engine. 334027 miles!!! Runs like a charm.
Wow what maintenance items did you do
💪🏾💪🏾
What I like about the 07 Cadillac escalade it still looks good for it's age just a all round beautiful truck
Right I switch the back lights on mine and folks think it's a 2015 lol

I enjoyed the review man. Good stuff!
These things are pretty fast for being over 6000 pounds!

Those trucks where way beyond there time they did a amazing job putting that truck together
It make a big difference, after upgrading the taillights with 4th generation escalade tailaghts

My 14' has a USB in the middle console
Good review. I still love these escalades!!
nice! yes this one is in great shape to. I'm sure it will sell fairly quick.
Very insightful video!
Where would I go to get a small puncture in the leather seat fixed and at what cost? Its only about a 1in cut maybe from Jeans
I wanna get a nice SUV for family trips under $15,000 would you recommend this?
Yes I personally would

@@LSp8 nice buy
beautiful vehicle but that cashmere interior sucks! i know i have one..
yeah that light color interior looks great with the car is new, but after a few years it starts getting dirty and becomes hard as hell to keep clean.
CharlestonCarVideos yeah bro I try to treat mine once a month...great video man keep them coming!!
Yes ,so true I have a 03 with the same
Ya...because black is so much better....
Lee davis that’s what she said
G only 60k, i cant buy shit for 60k today
Its the tar that stains, not the nicotine. Just saying... 👍
What are all the problems with truck as a whole electrical, engine, etc. Thinking about getting one.

How much
I remember, my parents bought me one in early '07, black on black, for my 16th birthday and I think they paid close to $68K or $70K I don't remember.
Stop lying
Must be nice to have parents that gives a 16yo a brand new 70k+ vehicle.
Is the exhaust stock?

what were ur symptoms
@@_anthonyr The 2007 Escalades didn't have AFM but they do have the VTT that is a curse to the motor.
the worst interior in the business
like it is the black interior is better
