Love that you can now take control of players during replays. It's cool that you can 'put your money where your mouth is' and see if your decision was better than the other players. The developers have definitely been listening to what you wanted and it's a great addition to your videos. Looking forward to more!
Sandstorm Degen beam combo destroys this combo. Literally saw the thumbnail as I was queueing for a match and the very match the guy pulled this on me. Skorp to buy a few rounds into Sandstorm worms and next round degen beam wraiths. Not even shielded mass fangs could save the quad tarantula player.
I always like it more to see u play yourself and comment on your thinking process than review games of other ppl. but this new interactive replay system, when u takeover control, is a fine compromise :) thx
That last round would have been interesting with some chaff in front of his level 3 amp core Spidey. Make it live long enough o not be latched before the crawlers arrive
Yeah, the chaff management was lacking. Tula's work as a chaff clear or possibly a carry unit... can't do both at the same time though, at least not as a single unit. May have been possible if they were 2 like the Typhoons... I think a Sabertooth would come out on top vs. a Tarantula? Just in terms of a 1:1 unit counter, excluding the techs (unless missile intercept works on mines).
It's in the works. I think it was discussed in the Q&A with Stoney and the Dev. Along with the teaser of the 5 new units (bomb spider already out). *Thinking about it, the Wasps need to get an anti-tarantula tech. I mean, we have spider hunting wasps irl. Also calling it now that we will receive a "Hornet" at some point.
yo COb dont knowif you allready know but you can take control of replays now at any given point and play it out as you like, that would be very interesting to watch i think :D
your opponent in your own game skimped really hard on chaff, which is a thing I suspect will happen to many players this patch because building it into tarantulas feels bad. Without the chaff the marksmen just went to town.
Are acid crawlers still a thing? Crawlers imo with the tunneling upgrade should at least get close, then it's just about being able to dump damage before all crawlers are lost, or if he just had replicate/ mech division on the steel balls he'd be better off? Pondhop had too little chaff, and no chaff management. He also lost the ranged battle, so I guess he should have teched speed and turned it into a brawl. Underground worms & crawlers are untargetable until they surface, so that mixed with the Sandstorm "should" work in the most basic sense... i think.
@@jasonrouse8215 I suspect mech division on the balls, and a couple more balls was the right answer, but that might have opened up scorpions for cob since pond didn't have much access to air.
I think tarantulas are a bit OP right now, especially for a starting unit. They have a TON of health, so basically no starting units counter them, they take like 8 shots from a marksman to die...that's insane. And they clear chaff like it's nothing.
Their main counter starting unit wise is steel balls. One nice thing about them is it makes taking steal balls as a starting unit feel less bad knowing they have a role here.

Anyone else feel like this game should have A undo button. I think it should

Spider mines would be amazing if they didn't expolode when killed, only on their own.
Imo, as long as storms are a starting unit Phoenix’s should be tio
Steel balls eats thru them so easily tho
Newbie question: In the first game, why did they put almost all their units vertically instead of horizontally?
Against steel balls, it makes sure the balls only latch on to one unit at a time. It also leaves room open for larger units.
as a viewer who doesn't know the game, why did you skip the first round?
😱😎😎👍👍👍👍👍
Omg i haaaaaaaaaaaaaate tarent ( im400mmrlol )
Swapping out Phoenixes for spooders openers is so sad. :(
