In my experience if the tarantulas are on the ground a phone book is a pretty good counter to them. I mean I don't actually have any experience with tarantulas but it works for other big spiders!

By far the most common answer I've been seeing around 1900 is war factory.
6:45 the warp in time delays it so the arc target locks the tarantula
Ap rounds do really well vs giants for the tarantula and mustangs where needed a long time ago

I have not had much experience with the Tarantula's yet, but they feel like they have a place somewhere. Just have not found it yet.
By round 8 I started to wonder why red did not do any flanking. This would mess up with blue a lot. Either delaying some tarantulas or killing building in time.
Ap bullets and mechanical range sledgehammer can counter tarantulas pretty good too
people who build their line that far up front always hard lose against me, not sure why people do that

So Tarantulas kill your own chaff but you are supposed to invest in Chaff a nonzero sum. This feels like bad game design to misdirect new players.
Yes, if you keep them busy you can kill them while they are busy killing your chaff.
wdym tarantulas kill your own chaff? they target your own guys? or do you mean colleteral explosive damage
@@xrasor9592 Collateral damage. Generally only a problem when mixing with your crawlers though.
@@xrasor9592 “collateral damage” makes it sound more occasional rather than reducing your chaff by 50±25%
@@dragade101 ah ok so its a real bad combo, fangs would be better chaff when pulling the tarantulas?
