Oh, i didn't leave yall hangin 👇 here is the recipe from Rammy himself (i added salt and vanilla) The pudding- 5oz dates, pitted 1/2tsp Baking soda 1/4 hot water 3Tbsp butter 6Tbsp brown sugar 1 egg 1tsp Vanilla bean paste 1/4tsp salt 1/2C + 2Tbsp AP flour 1/2tsp Baking powder 350F° for 20 minutes when using 4oz ramekin(toothpick test) If using a muffin mold bake for about 16 minutes the toffee sauce- 6Tbsp butter 1/2C brown sugar 1/2C heavy cream 1/4 tsp salt 1tsp Vanilla extract 1Tbsp bourbon Heat all ingredients in a saucepan while stirring until temp reaches 230F° (110 C°)

@@Corgio22 Brown sugar is just white sugar + molasses, which you can find pretty easily. If it's not dark enough, you can add a dab of molasses until you get the desired darkness.
@@DC-FGC in the UK we do actually tend to use the original kind of brown sugar that hasn't had the molasses removed, not just brown sugar with the molasses added back in. I found out the difference at Christmas when I tried to make an American candy recipe and it completely failed, the next day after some research I used one third brown sugar, two thirds white sugar to try and get closer to American brown sugar and it worked perfectly. Adding extra dark molasses should work for the cake part sticky toffee pudding but I just wanted to mention there is a difference between American and British brown sugar because it will make a difference in something more precise like caramel or toffee and I don't want anyone wasting any expensive ingredients lol.

This is actually a well-loved dessert that we eat nearly all year round but especially in winter in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦. You did amazingly, and there’s actually ways to play with the recipe like soaking the cake with some toffee flavored milk to make it soft and mushy, kinda like you🥰
