I love to express myself through my songs, or to rearrange the melodies of existing songs. My mind is an on going soundtrack, a radio that never shuts off.
I have been studying Stevie Mackey to improve my vocals, but after having his “be great” speach, I don’t want to just be a better vocalist, I want to be great at telling my story through the gift of singing!

Has anyone here taken from Stevie, because to me it seems as though he “Gets it”. All my fears, trepidation, and ridiculous need to be perfect, he basically covered all my fears regarding singing. I love music, LOVE singing, and hate my own voice (afraid to make a mistake). I need to get a lesson with Stevie.
Hi, I'm Songwriting Shane and I am taking lessons with Stevie Mackie to be better at my art as a Singer and Performer. I am so thankful that God guided me to him to help me move forward with my music mission to help instill peace and love in people's hearts around the world.
This is why African Americans who attend HBCU institutions like Oakwood University, especially if they if it is a Christian institution do so well like Take, Special Blend, Virtue, Wintley Phipps, the Aeolians, First SDA Church of Huntsville, AL Inspirational Choir, Voices of Inspiration, being apart of Gospel Choir or group is like being apart of a musical family where you can just be your self. Stevie Mackey is what it was like grewing up Adventist for my brother's generation and younger. Lord bless my brother DJ Klyph of Portland and Sandy Radio station to be the best lead Christina musical artist he can be, because like Stevie Mackey he loves music, but only what you do for Christ not the world will last. Lord this prayer request is for my brother Clifford Mack the DJ to be his best for Christ in his lifetime, amen!
Stevie is so inspiring. I couldn’t carry a tune if it was super glued to me. Listening to his immaculate voice and watching him do what he loves is so very satisfying. He actually has me contemplating taking voice lessons.
This is very inspiring. I admire the underlying principle of wanting to serve others and work with others to help them become great. As you lose yourself in serving others, you are actually gaining yourself and becoming so much better. A big thumbs up to you Stevie Mackey
We used to have jam sessions with the band, after choir rehearsal. From church to the garage (storage unit) I love it! I'll come cook tacos and enchiladas. I just LOVE live music
Saw this guy at Oakwood University Church last weekend and was totally taken. Can’t believe I never knew him before. So humble and talented, his music and life touched my soul. Wish he can work with my daughter who has fallen out of love with music after college.
I just heard Stevie on Terrell's RUclips page and this man can SANG! All levels of singing. While coaching and teaching is his natural talents I would love to hear him sing on radio because he is super talented. An album hearing his different ranges. You go boi! Hit all corners of this world ....He Ready!

I have always liked to talk and speak when I am with people I know, but I never realized I was one of the lead singers in the churches I grew up at in First SDA Church of Teaneck and Engleowood Community Church in Englewood New Jersey, and working all of suddenly became more important than going to choir, and I have been so busy trying to complete my education and become a mature, it is as if I can not even hit a note. I miss singing with the young people I grew up with who have gone on with their lives. Be-careful Stevie because only what you do for Christ will last, I thank God that most Christian Seventh Day Adventists grew up speaking and singing in church if not doing both, which has given them the ability to be who they are today.
