I got a WhatsApp today from someone telling me I must stop hanging out in shebeens, hitchhiking etc. (Stop being me, basically). First of all the arrogance is astounding. Second of all, I realized something: many people don't get what I do at all. They also do not want to see it because most in the West have been programmed to believe that the material aspects of life are what is important. I see all these 'spiritual' and religious posts, but in fact, their real 'God' is money, wealth, status in society, fame, etc. instead of integrity, authenticity, truth, etc. I am trying to show people something beautiful, real people in real places, and they are blind to it. They will even be blind to this post because of societal programming. The vast majority of people on the planet are poor and live simple lives. They are also often the most interesting people. They are also deserving of attention and have an equal right to live on this planet. On that note, here is my latest vlog:
