I have the black mist filter and after seeing this video, I might return it. Don’t like how all the highlights are too bright and blown out.

I have the issue with out the filter as well. The EV has to be backed down to almost 1 to remove it. Its a huge oversite

The mistake this poster has made is they didn't state the strength of the BM filter. I would go for a 1/8 pro/black mist filter to control highlight blooming but have it still soften the image nicely.
Update: my apologies to the content creator of this post as I was unaware that DJI didn’t make this information available. Thanks for the video.

Sorry for the lack of explanation. This BM filter is sold by DJI exclusively for the Osmo Pocket 3.
(This camera has a unique shape that makes it very difficult to attach a standard BM filter.)
DJI does not disclose the filter values, but I too think that this filter is a bit too strong and will be very limited in its usage.

@@StingRay67_Live it’s not really an oversight. It’s the fact that DjI does not give the specifications on their lenses. In the filters it’s easy but as far as the missed filters, there’s nothing there.
Not to mention, several of the other influences have received these early, said the same thing about that filter that it’s overly strong.

The Dji black mist filter is 1/4 strength. I found it way too blown out. I got a 1/8 strength from another brand and its a lot better.
