That breakfast has to be a result of several misunderstandings by somebody who doesn't nor has ever seen people cook.

24:26 Is that the cute chick from Reacher? I think he’s either in House of Usher or Midnight Mass. She’s a good one

Willa Fitzgerald's death scene was breathtaking. What a talent.

There are films that shuffle the narrative order effectively and for good reason, like Memento or many of the Tarantino films. Then there are films like this, that shuffle the narrative order to try and make a weak story seem more engaging.
The immediate problem for me was that seeing the “Chapter 3” at the start and having the dude look like a psycho I knew what I was seeing was going to be deceptive on purpose. Sadly, for a movie like this, without the twist there’s nothing really that engaging and the twist is telegraphed if you watch enough movies.
In other words, if you put this movie back in order it is really basic. The characters have no depth and the plot could be summed up as, “Serial killer woman seduces a cop because she is too stupid to be as prolific of a serial killer as the film wants you to think, then the cop gets free, tracks her down, and, in typical movie fashion, does something idiotic that gets him killed and the killer gets to kill a few more people because everyone is dumb”.
Also, the problem with the cop was that he was a bad cop until they needed him to be a good cop so they could kill him. This is lazy writing and bad character development.

I really loved the coverage of this, despite my tantrum :) You all did a wonderful job breaking this down. Looking forward to the next one.

Rearrange the chapters to their proper order and have the cop either live, or be the one to kill her in a last act before dying and it would be an okay movie.
As it is, the story is average with a lame ass ending with the scrambled chapters there just to make it seem more interesting.
I did find the concept of someone using coke to stave off sedatives funny and in a better movie it'd be hilarious.
Good coverage on your part other than I disagree with the quality of the movie, I also enjoyed your repulsion for the hippy breakfast cause it honestly doesn't sound that bad lol. (not that I'd eat it but I've seen some weird meals on the cooking channel and on RUclips so I'm kinda used to it)

This movie was good until the ending, which requires the police to be idiots in order for the ending to occur. It also has this trope of "competent/people who know what's going on suffer the consequences of idiot/people who don't know what's going on's actions"
