I think the interesting thing too about carry on grub is that you know which two cards are in the spell, so you can specifically save it for when you need one or both of the ones that are in it. Based on the spell card template it feels like it tells you which ones are in there right?

The fact that Blizzard not only brought back Patches, one of the least-liked minions in HS history known for ruining a meta due to the acceleration of play,, but brought him back as a DH minion, a class that has been stigmatized as ruining a standard meta, is hilarious.

Mixologist seems comparable to school teacher.
Maybe in some reno deck, if you have an awkward card slot. The potion has good options like deal 2 damage across a board, revive a minion, put a random demon in hand (considering that half the demons in standard pool are big), turn random enemy minion into a sheep (don't remember if sheep is in 1-cost potion pool). But it doesn't feel that good to fit in non-reno deck

The carry on suitcase and the mixologists potion are also 1 cost spells usable in priest. Idk if that matters but might be worth considering.
Also bumbling bellhop makes me instantly think of shaman. You can use wish upon a star as the 5+ spell and the buff, and tripling its battlecry can be strong as well.

It's interesting to note that *every single class card* in this expansion is a dual-class card except the tourists. I'm interested in what kind of meta this will end up being.

The location girl for Druid seems a very fun card to play.
Customs Enforcer also slows down Carry-On Grub, the new Marin, Gorgonzormu and possibly even more in the future with drinks, potions and such... Seems like a pretty decent tech!
Octopus with always a bigger jormungar and that 3/1 with rush that can magnetize to both mechs and beasts will make a fine OTK!
Will it be fast enough tough? Probably not, and will have to run alongside secret package, but it will make a cool meme deck.

Octo-masseuse is an 8/8 that doesn't die from lightbomb
patches is not necessarily in theme with dh, but hey do be drawing, so getting "free" 1/1 charges along your draw is pretty good.
I see octo-masseuse and can already envision some jank otk where you buff it to four attack and punch ashtongue
OK, SO, WILD PLAYERS HEAR ME OUT (@MarkMcKz I'm looking at you):
- Play as Warlock
- Run Mithril Rod and/or Emperor Thaurissan to reduce the cost of cards for the following combo
- Play Wrathguard
- Use Treachery to give Wrathguard to your opponent
- Play Octo-Masseuse and Bunny Stomper (to give Octo-boi rush)
- Buff Octo-Buddy with Power Overwhelming twice
- Crash into Wrathguard to deal 72 damage to face
I am so sad Patches isn’t in rogue. Imagine that with the pirate legendary from Whizbang’s. That legendary would finally have a purpose.
A.F.Kay seems pretty good in a totem shaman deck tho. Also if it survives, all minions you play that aren't rush or charge gets 2/2

octo-masseuse, broom, power overwhelming, wrathguard, and treachery sounds like a dumb 11 mana combo worth trying. You can also imprisoned scrap imp to get the 32 dmg for just 10 mana. If you get shadow born off thats free -3 mana. And if you get enough ticks on emperor thaurisan you can throw in a sunfury protector to always ensure wrathguard is a valid target.
I’ve opened all demon hunter legendaries for the past two expansions but I bet I don’t get any the one time the legendary is actually playable
so, octo masseuse, gift a minion that deals damage it takes, and buff masseuse by 3 attack

Aggro decks have plenty of draw so you almost always get this out pretty quickly
It's just free bodies throughout the game. People have played far worse 1 mana minions for tempo in aggro decks (swashbuckler in rogue being a fairly good example).
It will see play in both token/aggro versions of Shaman and DH because they just want to murder you and randomly getting a charge minion in a class with bloodlust is really good.
I haven't played Hearthstone in years, jesus the absolute state of these cards. So Buttons is a 5 mana 5/5, that draws you 3-4 cards, and also gives you access to an entire other class of cards during deckbuilding. What the hell
just the class cards from that expansion, not alle the class cards the class has.. but still... yes...

I don’t share your optimism for Lora at all. The location pool is already diluted with low value 1-2 cost locations, and given the fact that we’re going to be getting even more this expansion, I highly doubt the possibility of high rolling a prison of yogg is going to be enough when you’re more likely to get garbage like Muck Pools, Hiking Trail, Jungle Gym, and Sanguine Depths spat out at you.

Boulderisft Ogre doesn't kill you in fatigue so it's much better for the cost.
I don’t think it would be worse for the f2p people (the plebes). You can look at these like dual class cards and you’re getting a card that can go in 2 classes, assuming you have the legendary.

Always a Bigger Jormungar + Octo-Masseuse = Day 1 Legend
Not sure if Always a Bigger Jormungar works with this minion, we'll have to wait and see, but if it does, you can also play bunny hopper to give this rush and pull the combo off in 1 turn.
@gazzamanazza4pm yea, even if it does work, it might be too clunky to pull off consistently in hunter anyway. But it would make for some funny ass clips.

The Weapon Ogre isnt that bad. Getting the biggest baded weapon in your deck... Maybe Kingsbane in wild... it will see some play in the right decks.
8:16 - 8:24 AAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAH this is pretty good on mage, not against this thing is 3 mana, 100% of the time no minion mage will try to discover this card.
9:59 this is unplayable trash in many metas, is the type of card who can easy see no play the 8:16 card will be more impactful than this trash in many metas. this card need a specific meta to be impactful.

This set looks like hot garbage. Most sets have 50-65% bad cards, but they have some value or do something novel. But the bad cards in this set are just BAD.
I don’t normally complain about the latest HS set, but after the last mini-expansion, I figured this set might be better? Still lots of chances remaining
Here is my review of the new cards:
Buttons, since you can only tourist cards from this set, and this set sucks, this card sucks.
New patches, Decent, if the meta supports aggro (decks seem more mid-range to me now).
Cruise Captain Lora, random locations suck. Runi , Time explorer is better than this by a long shot. And much more likely to affect board state.
Package Dealer is not Auctioner. This card never sees play.
Octo-Masseuse, the best of the minions that want to not go face. This will.see play in wild with buffed octo-masseuses attacking a minion puppeteered to the enemy’s board that does damage equal to damage to controlling player.
Mixologist, first time I’ve seen power un-creep in a card. For saving 1 mana you get a Kazakus spell but must choose a 1cost spell?
Carry-On Grub, in 2024 any card draw that says “before you can draw cards, first play this 4 mana 5/4…” No. Imagine not putting this in your deck, and instead of drawing 2 cards for 5, you draw one card for free by getting the first card this drew.
Bumbling Bellhop, decent, but not great. Most aggro deck creatures will have 3 attack, and 3 is the magic number for all those two cost spell that do 3 damage plus an added benefit.
Customs enforcer, hot garbage.
Gorgonzormu best card of the set so far.
Travel Agent, decent card. This is pure value. Discover a location is almost as good as having one in your deck, if the deck isn’t built around that location. I think is a 4 star card that finds use in many deck types. If all the locations are crap, then of course this won’t see play.
Weapons attendant, if this card discovered a copy of the weapon and put another copy of a random weapon in your hand and gave both +1/+1 it still would not see play. The only pirates that cost more than 3 do insane hurtful things to people.
