There was a surgery with a 300% mortality rate. A Scottish surgeon was performing an amputation, where he not only sawed of an assistants finger after which both the patient and the assistant died of an infection, but also an elder doctor who was watching the procedure had a heart attack.

I think that was Joseph Liston. Its a result of surgical doctrine at the time being focused on speed rather than precision due to the lack of anaesthetics. A faster operation would minimise pain for the patient

this game actually has four endings:
1. you kill no one so you and Elisabeth travel the world together or something (the good good ending)
2. you kill some people so you and Elisabeth lock yourselves up in that castle till you find a cure and it lasts all the way to when computers were invented apparently (the bad good ending)
3. you kill some people including Elisabeth's adopted daughter so she kills herself and you appear to have emotional issues after that (the good bad ending)
4. you kill pretty much every one so Elisabeth kills herself and you go crazy with the killing (the bad bad ending)

I really do enjoy this game, but one of my favorite visuals in the entire game is how they portray how vampires see and experience the Cross. I adore how that is portrayed in the pub.

I beat this game earlier this year and it’s absolutely amazing, the devs need to make a sequal because this games Tory and characters are absolutely amazing, I have never played a game with so many choices now I am doing my second run through and trying to get different results there is so much replay value in this game and it’s very souls like so you have the motivation to beat it too.
I love the sound Johnathan makes when he's eating rats. It's absolutely perfect.

The highest casualty rate ever achieved by a doctor was 300% wherein Doctor Robert Liston performed an amputation with an infected saw, causing the patient's stump to become gangrenous. In the process of the amputation, Doctor Liston cut one of his assistant's fingers and in turn passed the, ultimately fatal, infection to them as well. Furthermore, he cut the coat of an elderly doctor observing the operation nearby. The elderly man, feeling a tug and looking down to see himself covered in blood, proceeded to have a heart attack and die on the scene.

To be fair the combat system IS soulslike with the lock on and stamina management. Also, while the game wasnt particularily difficult, it did have the same "punish your mistakes" brand of difficulty thats made trivial with "gitting gud"

I totally forgot this game existed I remember playing it on my friend's cracked switch and was loving it and thanks to your video you reminded me to buy it AND IT WAS ON SALE FOR 10 DOLLARS. When I was in the Air Force, working in the pharmacy, we dealt with a MD who’s nickname was Dr. Death. He was really that bad. He was a surgeon so I imagine his death rate was/is pretty high. He wasn’t a vampire, just incompetent.

So thats how the last bosses fight. For me, a thirsty boi last couple of bosses died before doing a single move with only the queen being like lvl 50 or something (it was a while when i last played) so she lasted a few moments more.

The attending nurse lost a finger, and a "distinguished surgical spectator" was nearly cut in the procedure. The patient and nurse died of "hospital gangrene", and the spectator died of shock. This made the procedure 300% lethal.
