What these promoters need to realise is, although Jordan and talksport have a platform and big audience, they couldn’t organise an event to fill York hall. Their opinions don’t matter.

- Threatened to sue Eddie when he said ‘you went bankrupt’ at Crystal Palace
- Refers to his Frank Smith as a goblin tea maker / maid
The list could go on. But ultimately, Eddie is travelling the world and continues to build a billion dollar company.
Simon travels to a DJ booth every day and is still blacklisted because he refused to pay HM Inland Revenue or any of Crystal Palaces debtors due to his poor business strategy. And that must absolutely kill him every day inside.

Some of those points he's absolutely right about though. Especially the Connor benn situation, that was sickening.
Oooouuuuu 😂 look no one can say Simon hasn’t been a breath of fresh air in the boxing space and he does call out things that need to be called out case and point was Conor Benn, Eddie was such a sneaky snake with that whole thing and only Simon and Eubank Sr called him out on it, if he didn’t maybe it would of got swept under the rug. Simon’s a sneaky little brat too no one’s here trying to defend Simon everyone knows he’s abit of a weasel but his principles remain and I like that.

Even though I wholeheartedly agree with his current stated position on the Saudis takeover of Wembley Stadium at the weekend. For I seem to recall Simon championing the Qataris staging the World Cup back in 2022 even in-spite of their appalling human rights record. He made no secret of his desire to get involved in lucrative sports promotions in the Middle East that would have made him some of those Wahabbi petrodollars. Yet he's now apparently unhappy with the extent to which accommodations are being made to pander to their whims.
And we have indeed sold-out to the Saudis and nobody should attempt to silence anyone else for pointing out this fact. For anyone who is opposed to the concept of free speech and why journalism should not be censored in the way that the Saudis want I can only suggest they look at the fate of Jamal Khashoggi a few years ago.

ironically Eddie has been at the forefront of preventing big fights happening when they should have. Even recently Eddie is 100% the reason guys like AJ never fought Fury and Wilder when he should because he micromanaged his cash cow out of relevant fights of the time. The fact he's got the bare faced cheek to come out now all of a sudden with the "they are putting on the fights people want to see" patter is beyond the pale. I found it weird the Saudi anthem was played...but not in a nationalisitc way or anti sports washing way. Just it was suprising and i did predict some backlash. But it is a part of Riyad Season...ot is paid for by them and its their event and they played both anthems, the saudi and the british one. I think its fine overall. Nobody complains before a sports match when both anthems are played.

This is where Simon is wrong, he said it was a British event. It was a Riyadh season Saudi event which otherwise would have taken place in Saudi. Instead they brought that event over to London. They didn't have to bring it over, but fans obviously wanted to see a big british fight on british soil.

Haven't heard what hearn said, and I'm not a massive fan of his, but I don't see the problem, they put on the event. I'd rather have Saudi anthem playing and get to watch 6 hours of sick fights, then have to watch it on the telly.

eddie is known in the business as the promoter that stopped all the big fights people wanting to see from happening. 5 other promoters accused him of this and never accused each other of it. Eddie has a cheek saying anything like "we should be greatful they are putting on these fights" when if he was doing his job right for the last 2 decade we wouldn't be in this position.
