It was the only Resident Evil game I could play all the way through without using the strategy guide. With all the other games, I always got stuck somewhere and had to “look up” the answer.
leon fired 11 shots and the handgun holds 18 so he only got left 6 in mag +1 in the chamber,apart from the tactical aspect he pulled back to keep the threats at distance also shooting on the move firing 2 controlled pairs that is 4 shots and 7 single shots fired
It was two things it was partly the voice actors but it was also the dialogue that they were given in the direction that the game wanted to go into where the Remake seem like it wanted to go in a different direction and let's not forget the voice actors only will do what they're told to do yes they will sometimes add lips something but will only go with something that the direction asked them to do.

Its not as good as this one, Trust me. Graphics are good but its not this intense. They could have made it much better or they could have just copied the original.
i love how the intro of this game used urban legend aspects in such a subtle manner that it flew right over everyone. for instance, leon stops his vehicle in an abandoned town and comes across a dead body, only to be ambushed by zombies. leon and claire get into a police car and drive to the police station, only to be ambushed by a zombie in the backseat. when either character in the a scenario encounters the alligator.
I liked RE7 as well, that was a step in the right direction. They were in desperate need of a change, and sticking with the original roots of a survival horror was the way to go. I still get edgy about playing RE7. xD

TheCableguy x 5 and 6 sucked but i enjoyed 7, felt fresh and even there werent zombies i did like the crazy ass family you had to fight, felt like an homage to horror movies.

what I don't get about the beginning movie when Leon an Claire was in the police car the truck was right on they ass on 2:43 to 2:50. but when the zombie shows up in the back seat an Leon is still driving mean while the zombie is tryna kill its pray. you see another front car view an 03:05 the truck is not behind them an u can't say it was a few blocks back because u see no head lights. where did the truck go? but Leon an Claire see it after the crash on 03:21 the truck pops up outter no where coming forward. Come on now that truck would have hit them already before they was about to jump out the police car really. it looks like that truck could have hit them already. I never payed attention to the beginning movie when I was 10 years old. if u look at this beginning movie part again in pay attention to the beginning movie I'll see what I'm talking about.

Ripie el video del juego de PSOne a un archivo AVI RAW (Sin compresion alguna) despues, use el Vegas Pro 9 y hice upsample al video a 1280x720 y ahi quedo, ah, tambien use un "Motion Blur Asimetrico en Piramide" para que no se vea tan.... como decirlo, "lento" ya que el video original era a solo 15 FPS Y asi quedo. :D Saludos!

Voice acting from the original RE2 had majorly progressed since the RE1
This Leon sounds more like a Cop that the other voice actors did.
Paul haddad is one of those people who took his role seriously and actually try to convey as a cop in voice lines

I find this game's deep zombie groans creepier than the Walking Dead-sounding zombies in the remake.
The original RE1 had the creepiest Zombie groans IMO.
I would say it was a big loss when they didn't allow their Resident Evil 2 sounds Japan's entirely in the game not just music

The level of Paul Haddads and Alysson Courts voice acting is just out of this level.

The sound design at 3:22 stuck with me from when i played this as a kid. The sound effects when the truck appears really conveyed danger.
