not a good one for me this year lauren my mum passed away the week previous the 16th suddenly but peacefully your never ready ,even though we knew ,i managed to put a face on to get through christmas for my children but it was heartbreaking my mum loved christmas,i miss her so much this year will be a quick one weve got so much going on this coming 3 months ,bit of sadness ,but memories along the way happy new year fresh start new start new horizons xx

We can all part of the crappiest club in the world but we can share our grief and sadness in the comments. There will be good and bad days but know that you have a community of love and support here. I’m so sorry to hear of your sadness. Losing your mom, no matter how old you are, is just devastating. My dad died in his sleep unexpectedly, my mom passed within a month of her cancer diagnosis, but both were equally as hard. Although it gets a little bit easier, the heartache remains. I found that a few new traditions for my family helped a little bit. Bless you, and I will keep you in my prayers for some healing. ❤❤

Hi Lauren. I live in North Texas and have started learning about gardening since we moved onto our two acre property about 5 years ago. As a chicken owner myself, I just wanted to *highly* encourage you to keep your garden in an area that is not accessible to your chickens. They love freshly turned over soil and will peck out freshly planted seeds and baby sprouting plants. Best keep them out of your garden until you put it to bed for the winter. They will love foraging in there over the winter and will help keep the bug population down. look forward to seeing more from you in the future!

Hydrangeas are so easy, my husband gets me a new bush every Mother’s Day.. plant white or star gazer Lillie’s every year and then shake the bulbs early spring and they multiply.. buy bulbs once and you can divide and multiply them yearly!

I do that too. Clean as I go and it’s so nice to have a clean kitchen when you’re done. And a lot of things just need a rinse like a food processor or blender. If it sits, it gets all dry and you have to soak it, takes forever.

The simple days of washing windows, tidying up your outdoor spaces, and organisation is great to watch. Decorating is top of my ultimate watch list, but you always manage to inspire and share something relevant to me. Morning get ready, make up up occasionally and even winter bath routines. Literally anything. Painting the stairs black was fun to watch such a dramatic transformation. I hate cooking myself but know my family love eating so it might as well taste good.
You’re a brave woman, I found cleaning my Subzero fridge can be very time consuming and overwhelming. Everything has a home with and I have 1 free shelf space area. I always wipe everything off, even condiments and jar lids 🤣 when putting everything in my fridge. By doing this, my fridge only needs an occasional wipe down until the deep clean. When anyone opens my fridge, they comment how clean and organized it is! Watching you is inspirational!!

I loved the floral arrangement( white roses are my favorite) just a suggestion , some fresh cranberries in the bowl would have been gorgeous and adds some color . I often use cranberries and Christmas tree clippings in a tall clear vase and it’s gorgeous. Merry Christmas 🎄

Lauren, you can get chalk markers (they come in white and black). They work great on glass or plastic. You can label to your hearts content and then it just washes off when you don't need the labels anymore. I love mine!
Excited to get the house in order For Sure! 😅 If you try this bread recipe, I’ve Loved it for Years… 1 1/2 c warm water 2 tbsp powdered milk 2 tbsp soft butter 1 tbsp sugar 1 1/2 tsp salt 4 c flour 1 1/4 yeast I add to mixer in order given, knead until nice soft dough. Let rise until double. Knead and shape into loaf and put in loaf pan. Let rise to double in pan. Bake at 350 until golden brown. Turn out and cool. 😊 Enjoy your learning journey this year Lauren!
I loved this video, and am very excited to future ones! Once you have some time, you should make some homemade pastas. I have the pasta extras for my kitchen aid, and love experimenting with. So many different types can be made by incorporating fresh herbs. I just think that you would really enjoy discovering the varieties you could add to your meal plans. Love watching you! ❤
Hi Lauren your upcoming content sounds amazing! I’m new to cooking and gardening even though I’ve done both for years. I’m really wanting to learn new recipes and gardening techniques. Gardening here in North Texas has really been difficult with the sun and heat! In the Spring I’m going to plant herbs only and rig some sort of shade cloth to protect the herbs!

And that thing you've got going with making your own Butter, how easy, and how clever is that. I must try that one. We are a couple who choose not to eat meat, and it would be nice for you to do a veggie soup, because your soups are so lovely, and I do make my own soups anyway, I would love to add one of your recipes. And to finish with the jacket's that you showed, loved the Blue, until you put that Green on, and if I could only choose one, I would have a right dilemma 🤣. I loved the floral arrangement( white roses are my favorite) just a suggestion , some fresh cranberries in the bowl would have been gorgeous and adds some color .
I often use cranberries and Christmas tree clippings in a tall clear vase and it’s gorgeous.

Lauren, you can get chalk markers (they come in white and black). They work great on glass or plastic. You can label to your hearts content and then it just washes off when you don't need the labels anymore. I love mine!

If you try this bread recipe, I’ve Loved it for Years…
1 1/2 c warm water
2 tbsp powdered milk
2 tbsp soft butter
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 c flour
1 1/4 yeast
I add to mixer in order given, knead until nice soft dough.
Let rise until double.
Knead and shape into loaf and put in loaf pan.
Let rise to double in pan.
Bake at 350 until golden brown.
Turn out and cool. 😊

I loved this video, and am very excited to future ones! Once you have some time, you should make some homemade pastas. I have the pasta extras for my kitchen aid, and love experimenting with. So many different types can be made by incorporating fresh herbs. I just think that you would really enjoy discovering the varieties you could add to your meal plans. Love watching you! ❤

Hi Lauren your upcoming content sounds amazing! I’m new to cooking and gardening even though I’ve done both for years. I’m really wanting to learn new recipes and gardening techniques. Gardening here in North Texas has really been difficult with the sun and heat! In the Spring I’m going to plant herbs only and rig some sort of shade cloth to protect the herbs!

Your Baking is coming on great, all the breads your doing are looking really good. Even the ones that your not happy with, still look okay to me. And that thing you've got going with making your own Butter, how easy, and how clever is that. I must try that one. We are a couple who choose not to eat meat, and it would be nice for you to do a veggie soup, because your soups are so lovely, and I do make my own soups anyway, I would love to add one of your recipes. And to finish with the jacket's that you showed, loved the Blue, until you put that Green on, and if I could only choose one, I would have a right dilemma 🤣. Love that you keep it real, showing the real deal in the fridge. Ponderism…. I’ve wonder how does a refrigerator get so ew? I mean it’s food. You clean and prep. I deal with the same. Fun fact. Hot sauces don’t have to be refrigerated. I was told that by several in the food industry. But I still keep them in the fridge.😂🤷♀
Oh! That is good to know! I really want to make my own hot sauce, I LOVE things spicy and as I am getting older and I have more time to pay attention to the junk that is present in the foods we consume.
