Baekhyun has very good technique and tone and is on parr with kyungsoo and taeil isn’t technically better than Chen baekhyun or kyungsoo . Suju vocal line is the best in kpop with exo being the second best in kpop technically . Kyuhyun is the best vocalist in kpop , and Chen is the best vocalist in the whole of third generation of kpop . In sm The top three male vocalists are kyuhyun , RYEOWOOK and Chen . Now SHINee are all filled with powerhouse vocalists aswell , they have jonghyun who is the fourth best male vocalist in sm and onew is on the same level as kyungsoo and baekhyun and taemin is a slightly behind them in techniques . I’m not dismissing taeil vocal , because he is certainly a very good vocalist and has a really nice tone and a lot better than other male kpop groups main vocals who aren’t in sm but technically speaking he isn’t better than any of the main vocals in exo SHINee or suju. So in sm the male vocal lines from best to worst go suju exo SHINee, nct , tvxq(as their main powerhouse vocalists left) . This is only because he’s against the powerhouses of kpop in sm who have extremely good techniques but I would actually say he’s in the top 5 Third generation top vocalists which is still very impressive .

It makes sense since he studied it in university before joining SM. wow honestly, I used to question why Taeyong got so much centre time over the other members, even though I know he is main dancer + visual + main rapper, so him being the centre is well deserved. However, I've always wanted other members to come forward and have their time in the centre too, esp the long neglected Winwin. There are many reasons: 1) They along with Seventeen seem to have the best vocal and dance line among newer groups. 2) Finally SM has some above average rappers 3) Visuals 4) Timing- SM are gonna promote them hard soon (predicting this year) as SHINee and EXO are similar ages so will enter the military roughly the same time, SM need another big boy group. SAME IKR ive been watching performances by SM artists since 2015, well mainly EXO but honestly i didn't even realize how skillful they are on stage until the artists did not attend to big award shows anymore and i felt literally empty and idky it felt like something's missing. And NCT also has been giving the best stage performances since 2016 so when they didn't attend the award show felt lacking
