Why do you start with the 1 guard open to after use the 1 guard close and the 1/2 guard but sometimes you start with the 1 guard close to after use the 1/2 close ?
Good question that threw me off cuz I've been following the steps. And in my mind I always compare the guard n ok itches to blade detachbale lengths. For ex. Lever all the way open = #1 Half way open/close = 0A Fully closed 000 .5 guard closed = 1¼ 1 guard fully closed = 1A 1 fully open 1½ His blending technique I think is different

Not a good cut for him. He would do better with a mid to low taper because of the cow-licks...also, his hair was still "wild"...you shoulda free hand at the end of the cut. Also, the crown area could have been done better. There is an art to cutting curly hair, straight hair, waver's hair, and beards... you have not mastered those yet. Out of 10 being highest, I give you a 3 (Frankly, the way he came in, almost ANY cut would make him look better. Just keepin' it 100. Peace!
