Dillon was still recovering and held a mostly consistent line through the turn. Look at Dillon relative to the inner white line and Hamlin relative to the yellow line.
He never said he didn't his problem he had was being right hooked which NASCAR condems and has penalized drivers for its about the inconsistency NASCAR has followed and drivers seeing this stuff shows they can just drive thru cars to win with no penalty

The 11 was faster because you see the 11 go sailing past the mess with the 3 and 22. He knew if he got 2nd it meant nothing for points. He was in the 30s in points. He might spike 5 maybe 8 points. He would have to spike about 20 spots to point his way in or he could wreck the 11 and get automatic transfer.

Can we please talk about the fact that Hamlin was clearly moving up the track way more than dillon moved down... in all honesty I don't believe for a second Hamlins wreck was anyone's fault but his own. I think if he held the low line on the track he'd more than likely have won. Crossing from low side to mid track in that moment was a bad move, and it cost him.

I can't see a replay to where the caution lights come on at a specific point in time to determine a winner (from a fan standpoint) im sure nascar has all that data... but it was a couple seconds after Logano got wrecked to when Hamlin passed Dillon (for a brief moment before he got crashed).. It doesn't make sense does that mean Hamlin is the true winner? I can't tell without adequate data

Simply not true. Truck series drivers fail to form a 2nd line at draft tracks. The races turn into single file lines. The racing is much more boring and the driver's don't have nearly the level of racecraft the top guys do lol
