It's not that you're bad or that the game is hard. Try utilizing the alchemy system in the game. Make potions, bombs, oils it makes the game infinity easier. Don't worry about running out cuz once you make it 1 time all you do is meditate to get your bombs and potions back at the cost of 1 alcohol.
And also try to consolidate your build into a single or max two trees. Most of the grey skills are bad and you should only be using the proper school skill based of what armour you use.
It's pretty clear that the Dandelion plotline got cut short due to time constraints. You don't get to reenact the heist as Ciri and you don't get to spring him out of the dungeon under Temple Isle. Both of these questions would have been fun AF.
As far as the weird hats. The one the guy in the blue shirt was wearing was called a coif. It was actually a pretty common thing to find being worn in medieval times. Soldiers would wear underneath their helmet and, if they had it, their chainmail. Commoners also wore them as just a common head covering too.
I’m not sure about other peoples view but these uploads have been glorious. Witcher 3 is the best game I’ve ever played and seeing you walk through it like this has been fire 🔥🔥
The game doesn't get any easier. Invest in making potions, bombs, and oils. Once you make them, you only need to meditate again to replenish them. They are infinitely useful.
It's way easier when you've made all the correct oils/potions and have decent gear set + skill investment. So it does get easier the further you go, as long as you know what you're doing. For a first playthrough you're likely to make mistakes so I can see how someone would struggle, but once you know what you're doing it's pretty simple.
If you played the Witcher 2, you could actually import your save from that game into this one. Needless to say, both Letho and Roche meant a damn lot to me. Really enjoying you playing this. I fully support the offline idea. Game deserves 100% attention. Also, just thank you. Thank you for uploading.
Wait you are playing on Death March still? Holy cow... Mad respect Rob. Some fights later especially in the DLC took years off my life on DM, so I pray for your sanity.
Proper prepping and dodge + Quen spam makes most fights trivial, but for a first time playthrough I can see how he'd struggle. Hopefully when he gets to the DLC he'll have thunderbolt/ swallow maxed out, along with a decent build and master set of Witcher armor. Once he gets runewards he's chilling, but I doubt he'll do enough exploring to have the money to get them instantly.
That's why I didn't find part 4 of the live stream. But I think this is the right choice for the witcher 3. Nice work! Locked in for it! Re-living the joy of the game. It's my all time favorite. And glad you ended up loving gwent. It's a hidden gem.
DM isn't hard, you just need to use all that's available to you. It would be like playing ER without leveling your weapon/ gathering flasks etc. It only makes it harder till you understand all that you can do to make yourself stronger. Quen + Oils + Armor/weapon buff from blacksmith + Almost any Witcher gear set + Swallow/Thunderbolt potions = Easy mode. Seems like a lot but most of these are very easy to get/ keep up. NG+ will be way smoother once you understand builds/ preping. The most dangerous part of DM is when you don't have access to all of the stuff mentioned but even then Quen + dodging can still kill redskull enemies.
As another commenter wrote here, its not you or that the game is way too hard. I am also playing on death march for my first time playing this game, kind of second but it was a long time ago and i did maybe 5 missions. Exploit the character skills(some of the skills that have saved me countless times, are, Fleet Foot, and Undying). the swallow potion is op, and then last, looting for alcohest.
From the city guard's announcement - tonight, an unknown individual killed a pig sleeping in the street. This unprecedented act of barbarity has shocked the entire community of Novigrad. A goose has also been reported killed. We are probably dealing with a mad mass murderer of farm animals. Whoever saw the perpetrator... Geralt - I've no idea what they're writing about 🙂
How twisted would it be if Radovid's chess pieces were actually real ppl who had been artifact compressed? So when he says that he hears blood pumping, it's less figurative than we would like.
I will miss interacting with chat, but honestly I like this approach. When it comes to this game I feel like any decision that focuses on increasing immersion is the right one. Looking forward to future episodes! :)
Hey rob like you said in the beginning i fully support your decision because with the witcher (as i love this game ) you have to mostly involve yourself to understand and find new key elements for the story. But all with love rob pls loot everything you can whole exploring the lands of the witcher
All I’m gonna say is: ALCHEMY is OP!! Use it, abuse it! 😂 honestly, it’s the most “broken” combat enhancement imo, that will make Death March experience so much more pleasant! Literal trenboloni sandwiches for Geralt! Appreciate the uploads btw
by the halfway point you start to melt through enemies even on death march. Theres some more difficult fights in the dlcs but aside from that its not hard at all

True ^^
The difficulty in the game kinda sucks and makes no sense tbh. To make it difficult the game gives the enemiesnhigher damage and almost 1-2 shot you.
And also try to consolidate your build into a single or max two trees. Most of the grey skills are bad and you should only be using the proper school skill based of what armour you use.
Yup. Sometimes it’s just ignorance that’s the problem.
@@RobertVistal-jp2cw I do agree with you on this one. Until you get a proper witcher gear, the difficulty is kinda crazy
I think you’re making the right decision doing story heavy games like this off stream. Good for you and I’m enjoying the videos.

57:15 Rob discovering in real time how OP the revive/decoy/revive gwent play is
Games like The Witcher 3 are enjoyed much more offline. I completely support you doing that.
The Vendetta against Triss is great 😂
“Oh I’m so drunk”
Keep that to yourself
“What happened in the garden..”
Step away 😂
Team Yen all the way
As for me I was in the TEAM YEN just because of the books. Otherwise I'd go for Triss as Yen is (still) an insufferable bitch most of the time lol
Triss contributes to the fight if you don’t fuck up the quest by fighting the guy instantly lol
Autumn is a perfect season for a recall of the witcher
I’m not sure about other peoples view but these uploads have been glorious. Witcher 3 is the best game I’ve ever played and seeing you walk through it like this has been fire 🔥🔥
I was always look for forward to your streams and now I’ll look forward to these videos.

Also, just thank you. Thank you for uploading.
And thank you for watching. Means the world to me ❤️
1:57 I agree, to be immersed its better to play it without streaming
Wait you are playing on Death March still?
Holy cow... Mad respect Rob. Some fights later especially in the DLC took years off my life on DM, so I pray for your sanity.
Its true its only going to get worse haha
Proper prepping and dodge + Quen spam makes most fights trivial, but for a first time playthrough I can see how he'd struggle. The fucking frog and optional Olgierd fight in Hearts of Stone were very fucking hard on DM, as well as Detlaff.
That's why I didn't find part 4 of the live stream. But I think this is the right choice for the witcher 3. Nice work! Locked in for it! Re-living the joy of the game. It's my all time favorite. And glad you ended up loving gwent. It's a hidden gem.
One of the best games of all times. Forever. ❤
*and yes, you are definitely right! This game is best for solo immersion!
You gonna love Whirl ability in the red branch..trust me
And Undying, same branch
I’m not gonna lie I was always waiting for the live stream to end to watch your stuff. Idk why just how I be. Keep up the good work!
37:31 god level last second finesse, I know that shit was so satisfying to pull off.🤣

Look into the mountains and do the yelling cowboy meme
Alchemy is a wonderful thing
I fully understand and support your decision to not livestream everything. I'm sure you'll enjoy the game even more that way.
Does rob not know that blade oil increases sword damage no wonder he keeps having such a hard time
Goated series so far ngl hyped for the rest of it

Makes sense an I think it will help like you say some games ain't meant to be streamed an watching this way is preffered for the story heavy stuff

keep it up roberson, i believe in you, i enjoy the lets play more
Yessss you chose Yen instead of Triss.
I will miss interacting with chat, but honestly I like this approach. When it comes to this game I feel like any decision that focuses on increasing immersion is the right one. Looking forward to future episodes! :)
Bro is literally rawdogging the game with no swallow or anything.
You could have gotten Djikstra’s treasure if you didn’t threaten to kill Menge
Hey rob like you said in the beginning i fully support your decision because with the witcher (as i love this game ) you have to mostly involve yourself to understand and find new key elements for the story. But all with love rob pls loot everything you can whole exploring the lands of the witcher
The show is just trash to me, compared to the books or games. And tbh the books are terribly underrated, its one of the best fantasy books I ever read
I don’t ever play death march, I like Geralt to feel powerful not lose half HP from a wolf bite
Its basically if you play on normal you dont need potions and concotions on higher difficulty they make it like normal without
already enjoying it 🎉
Another banger after the Mordor plat? He’s giving us a lot of fun!!!
great decision!
On your next playthrough let Whoreson live. Trust me bro. His story ends with more satisfying finale than just death. 😉😉
rob my guy plz upgrade your axi as you see somtimes some dialoges are locked bec u didnt upgrade them trust me bro upgrade that
The house of demonitization
Ey Rob the whoreson casino had a gwent tournament going
Axii works good on shielded enemies.
If you're having a tough time. do alot of the side quest first :D Bosses will be like butter after the side quests
Mommy Triss 😮💨
I finished the game and felt so empty
My guy is learning. Sage in the making
I love you rob
Im playing on death march (hardest setting) and its not that hard, im not trying to brag but does anybody relate??
by the halfway point you start to melt through enemies even on death march. Theres some more difficult fights in the dlcs but aside from that its not hard at all
Theres no right way bro. Theres just your way and the good or bad things that come with it.
Lets go 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I will always prefer Triss to Yen, Yens annoying
also #teamTrissTILLIDIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Dont hate on Triss this much bro xd. She a bii but some of us choose toxic women over alcohol or dr*gs xd. Thats my addiction tho
