No goofball turning the camera around so they can make a dumb expression. No clickbait thumbnails. It's nice. I wish more of youtube could be this way.
Metallic testicles required. Love the Otters performance, amazing to me. Flew in an Islander twice, Nandi, Fiji to Kandavu, and return, very windy, short strip, great pilots. Great footage, thanks for posting.
What amazing is that with so many approaches lining up, pilots still managed to have time turning around and clear the only runway. Awesome skills. Awesome video captures.
This video is awesome. I love videos of this airport. You did an outstanding job with the different angles and closeups. I saw angles that I've never seen before in other videos of this airport. I truly enjoyed this video. Congratulations man , on a job well done.
Fantastic captures! May I feature the PC-12 go around in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you and happy 2024! 🎉
Great video man !!! I've been to St.Barths a few times while I worked on cruiseships. Sadly never experienced landing here in a plane !! Keep up the great work!! Greets from Norway
Stunning captures, great job! Would you be alright with me featuring some of them in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description. Thanks!
We often anchored just below the approach at Barts. Kinda fun watching them just miss the foliage. About twice a year they hit something. About once every five years there’s a crash and the rich folk are stuck for awhile until they clean up the mess.
Very nice! I guess pilots will feel some relief the day this runway is extended, allowing them to reduce their rate of descent. On the other hand, some pilots (and passengers) must like the thrill of landing as is.
I work at Westchester County Airport, up in New York (USA), and Tradewind is one of our base airlines, it is ALWAYS flying in and out. It's amazing to see them so active down there during the winter, because normally they are that busy during the summer up here.
Looking at this Video tells me when you're young you take all type of risks. Can't believe I made those approaches and landed numerous times in the 1970's. Good luck to Pilots going into St. Barths, Saba, and Statia.
Great capture! May I feature a part of this great video in one of my Daily Dose of Aviation? Of course with a link back to your original video and full credit. All the best to you!
great video man. most of the st barths videos i find are way old. this has great quality. what's the Vref of a PC-12? it appears to be significantly higher than all the others, so they tend to come in rather hot and high, too. the twin otters, however, really need to be forced down into the ground. they just wanna fly.
I remember this place I couldn't believe how short it was an what was in the front of us we had an emergency landing almost didn't make it me an the kids
I tell that to people who are nervous about flying. There are two people up front who are highly trained and they want to go home at the end of the day too.
Excellent video, Bro! Can i use it as part of my video for my channel? You will be credited in the video. and you get a backlink to your original video in my description. thanks
Tricky is as tricky does 😅 Two videos on my channel hypothesize the chance MH370 successfully ditched in the southern Indian Ocean. Let me know what you think 👍
The Twin Otters in particular seem to take a particularly hair-raising dive-bombing approach 🛬 But I think that DHL Caravan 7:50 took the prize. His wheels must have been less than a metre off the grass there
Like videos that are this way, no comments, no music, just airplanes. Thanks for that

That DHL pilot came in at level of the cars 😮 07:47

Very soothing to watch. Reminds of my time spent learning short field takeoffs and landings. Thanks for a peaceful 45 minutes of plane watching.
What amazing is that with so many approaches lining up, pilots still managed to have time turning around and clear the only runway. Awesome skills. Awesome video captures.
The Twin Otter appears to be the ideal aircraft for this airport.

Thankyou!
Wow! What a fantastic airport. Love waterfront view!
The Twin Otter's climb performance is second to none! And they stop just as well.
love watching the twin otters landing, no other plane can make such a short landing to turn off.
Absolutely stunning catches 😍
Fantastic captures! May I feature the PC-12 go around in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you and happy 2024! 🎉
Yes that’s fine thankyou for asking!

Of course! Thankyou
@@Calsaviationlol ur vid is the title of his vid
What an amazing planespotting video. Thanks for sharing that kind of videos. 👍🏼
We already subscribed to your channel 👍🏼
That second landing was so smooth! I was expecting smoke from the wheels touching down but the pilot greased it perfectly!
Love watching those win-air guys work that 2 otter. One of the few that make the 2nd taxiway
one of the best st barts video i have ever seen! more of this please
Thankyou!
Beautiful island and a very exciting airport...
I like the plane with the red white & blue, with the call sign - PJ- WlQ, to me, its one beauty, enjoying the video immensely.
My favorite landing was the DHL´s Cessna 208 Cargomaster, was realle insane. Amazing video!
This view never gets old!!!
It must be fantastic to experience that up close.
Masterpiece 👏🏼
also, the twin otters have crazy climb rates, especially when the wind is favorable. amazing to see
Man those Twin Otters sure float and then stop quickly! PJ-WII making that turn off time after time too!
Espectacular, gracias, saludos desde España👋👌
This was so good!!
These pilots are cool! Nice video )))
Awesome Action at SBH ❤ 🔥🔥

Awesome ❤
all those tradewind pilatus’ are amazing
this is one of the best vids i have watched in years of youtube
Same here, thanks for sending this great video.
Very challenging landing!! 😲😲
Very challenging landing!!

16:00Now THAT was a short landing! 😂
Nice to see successful landings here!
I like the Twin Otter also, but my favorite is the BN Islander on takeoff just because of the piston engines.
The skill of these pilots...wow
Love twin otters!

During HPN's summer, they are quite busy with their HPN-MVY and HPN-ACK I fly frequently to MVY and its either Cape Air or Tradewind
@@BoatClubCaretaker yup, we get slammed since they're based with us

That DHL Caravan 😱😱😱😱
👏👏👏
Gotta love most of the twin otters made the taxi way without back taxi the runway
Holy Smokes! The pilot of Winair PJ-WIX just bout *drove* it down the hill 🚙
Água Branca Alagoas Brasil abraço gostei do vídeo
Thanks for this! We’re anchored in St M and I was wondering where all those twins were headed….
A triumph in energy management !
Nice spot! Great work! Love it!

Yeah no problem!
Only had to wait 5 minutes to see a Go-Around!
great video man. most of the st barths videos i find are way old. this has great quality.

Thankyou! I don’t think there’s too much in it. PC12 is a very versatile plane too. But really tests it’s performance at St Bart’s
😮That first DHL 208 didn't come to play 😂🔥🔥
Damn I probably would have gone around if I were flying that PC-12 at 3:35
I remember this place I couldn't believe how short it was an what was in the front of us we had an emergency landing almost didn't make it me an the kids
Wonder if that's as much fun as it looks like it is.
Un coucou....a toi POPO...la vidange..
What is the airport at the beginning of the video called?
Hi
Like the landing on a short runway? But what airport is this or county, will like to visit it sometime? I am from Venezuela
It’s the French island of st Barthelemy in the Caribbean
5:00 Go around 😁
Brilliant Capture! can i use this as part of my video? you will be credited in the description and video 👍
Yes. Thanks for asking
Amazing footage! Is it ok if I put some of this into one of my videos? I’ll credit you
Of course! Thanks
7:48 😮😮😮
Quando a saída é pela cabeceira 10 aí é tenso complicado
Nice shots!
Could I use some of the videos in a compilation on my channel? I'll give proper credits and link to the original video.
Yeah, thankyou
How do they always stop in time ?
that first one was sporty.
The only reason pilots are so good at landing is because we don't want to die either😅
I tell that to people who are nervous about flying. There are two people up front who are highly trained and they want to go home at the end of the day too.
I presume it's strictly daylight hours only. Is runway 28 ever used I wonder?
Yeah flights only arrive between 8am and 6pm usually. And yes I saw runway 28 used last time but this time I think it was too windy
And the winner is Twin Otters 🛩👏😎
7:46 oh hell no, couldn't imagine being in that car and almost getting hit
Nice shot! Can I feature it? Credited on screen and with a link back!
Yes. Thankyou
This rules
i wonder if a Pilates PC-24 can land here
Looked like you missed the Kingair into SBH.. .
DHL almost bought the farm on that approach
2:28
Why don't they land from the other side. Wouldn't it be easier?
Scott's valley Park and Enterprise airports telephone wires in California. Where enough for me
Wouldn't it be safer to land the other way around, even with the wind on the back ???
No chance of a go around as the hill would be in the way
Excellent video, Bro! Can i use it as part of my video for my channel? You will be credited in the video. and you get a backlink to your original video
in my description. thanks
Yeah no problem
Thanks brother@@Calsaviation
Hi Brother: can i use your complete video in my channel or some part of your video:regards@@Calsaviation
Bro they just butter it
Anyone know the plane at 2:15?
It’s a Britten Norman islander
Can a ATR72 land their🤔
No way!
Next stop Lukla
Genuinely going there next week! Watch out for it in the coming months
Tricky is as tricky does 😅 Two videos on my channel hypothesize the chance MH370 successfully ditched in the southern Indian Ocean. Let me know what you think 👍
I'm gonna always have my kids with me me an the kids you hear me a package deal

aaaaaaaah,...
remove this f''''' hill with the street on top! are you nuts ;-)
i wonder how many accidents happened here already?!
Must Not be that Challenging ? Everybody seems to make In and Out.no problem ? Piece of Cake. Can of Corn.
I don't care what you say
flying cockroaches)))
as one of the transguilla pilots that fly st barth it is very hard and stressful and I hate it when I have to do it
Good work!
crazy pilots bringing crazy passengers - leaving seems to be the easy part
Very nice.
The Twin Otters in particular seem to take a particularly hair-raising dive-bombing approach 🛬
But I think that DHL Caravan 7:50 took the prize. His wheels must have been less than a metre off the grass there
It sure does!
