It was so fun chatting with you and other butterflies in the chat! Thank you for actually caring about your fans 💕
we love you, Sydney!
I was going to say the same thing 😸
Sydney Sweeney?
Personally I had heard years ago that Vaseline was good for eyelashes growth, so before going to sleep, I used to lather it on around the eye lashes area. Few months of doing that, I had water accumulating on my eyelid and blockage and I had to go get that surgically removed from an ophthalmologist. Since than, I will never put Vaseline around my eyes.
oh wow, i use vaseline to shape my eyelashes cus i dont think mascara looks nice on me as a blonde
I've been a picker for decades...didn't even have a skincare routine until 2 years ago...and I'm 53.😳😳😳
I admit, I take her routine with a grain of salt since she's the face of Laneige, but I will have to admit, their products are pretty good. I tried the Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer and it's a pretty good product. The Sleeping Mask is pretty lightweight, but hydrating, and that lip mask will last for a LONG time since a very little goes a long way. Now I don't use them because I go for cruelty free products, but if Laneige were to go cruelty free, I'd be the first one to line up to get their stuff.
And yes Cassandra, I do my skincare while watching these videos lol
I love laneige, but I miss their moisturizer, I think it was called the water bank cream. The new version’s scent is way to strong for me. The new version of the sleep mask is amazing, though.
@@lindseystein9676 try out the Honest Beauty Hydrogel cream it’s cheaper and the closest formula I’ve used to the laneige cream
The TonyMoly Ceramide toner is a great dupe for the Cream Skin!
I love the laneige lip mask! I apply all my skincare all over my face, including my lips, top them with the lip mask, and I wake up with my lips looking like I got them plumped and smoothed. Also love their lip balm that comes with the spatula in the lid. But I haven’t gotten to try anything else
The sleep mask and lip mask are AMAZING. I always say the sleep mask makes my face feel so unbelievably hydrated I even use it on my boyfriend haha
I felt the eye cream part in my soul!!! I have extremely sensitive, dry eyelid and under eye skin and I tried every eye cream under the sun with horrible results. I finally gave up on everything and tried plain old Vaseline.... works wonders!!! My eyelids and skin around my eyes is now well moisturized, not scaley or cracking or painful 🥰
Sydney Sweeney is such a perfect name. She is soooooooo cute.
She is one of those actresses I'm happy to see rise to the top, albeit is the face for laneige, she seems genuine and this is a great skincare routine.
Sydney is an ambassador for Laneige, which is why she uses so many of their products (and probably how she was able to get so many of those products for her castmates like she mentioned).
Overall, though, I love the routine and think she AND YOU are incredibly adorable in this video.
Thanks for the reaction, Cassandra!
Every time I get a notification from Cassandra's channel, I get so happy and excited.
I love how Cassandra's under eye patches took over their own character 😅🤣😂
How funny!! I have always used Vaseline since around 14, to remove eye make up and also it is the last thing I do before I go to bed. After my nightly ritual, I put Vaseline all over my eyes. It just feels so soothing to me. I am 57 and I know I do not have many lines around my eyes due to using Vaseline for over 40 years :)
vaseline clogs the pores of the eyes, you can expose yourself to a infection. Some bodies are "stronger" than others and declog themselves, but its not a safe product to use :(
As Dr. Dray says everyone should have at least 1 tub of vaseline in their bathroom!
In our defense our moms 10 year old set of encyclopedias didn't teach us anything about skincare in the 90s. OXY 10 and apricot scrub was all they offered us.
Don’t forget astringents made of 99% straight alcohol🤣
A lot of us kept that "N" volume for Noxzema waaaay too long XD
I love, love, love, love that I found you!! I love your videos, and you! Your personality is such a match to mine! You have been a God send to me and my skin and my acne. Thank you for being you and for putting these videos out there! I've never had the confidence to go makeup free or anything until I started watching your videos and realized our skin is so similar. Thank you soooo much!! ❤❤
YOU FINALLY REACTED IM SO HAPPY!
You are the absolute best! You make me happy!! ❤
Girlllllll I grabbed the wrong moisturizer the other night had fragrance was an accidental purchase got another fragrance free anyways my face looked like major sunburn, totally compromised. I tried your trader Joe's jojoba oil, it is fantastic. Healed my skin in 3 days. Cheap too. Glad you told us about it.
OMG you caught me. I love doing my skincare routine while watching your videos!
I literally always watch your videos while I do my skin care! Helps me to focus on something in between steps. 💖
Holy crap.. thank you Cassandra first of all , one of your other videos helped me figure out that I had angular cheilitis and this video pinpointed what it was. The lip sleeping mask from laneige!! I kept using it too because I thought it would help and was using aquaph or after and finally it started to clear up it took over a month
Using Vaseline as a makeup remover is such a tried and true old school tip! I’ve been using it on tough eye makeup for years! 🥰 A lil tough to get off on the full face, but a gem for the eyes for sure!!
Great for sensitive eyes
The Laneige cream skin cleanser is THE BEST!!!! I’m on my 6th bottle and i use it as my first cleanser to remove makeup or my sunscreen. I absolutely hate cleansing balm/oils and this is just soo divine i will never go back to another one
Those eye patches you’re using are the best. The special editions are cute. Whatever serum they have in there is amazing. I always use the extra all over my face
I think dr Idriss did a review on this routine and she’s a spokesperson for linage. So I’m not sure how much to believe about how she loved and uses this all the time. But her skin is great…so I hope this really works for her.
I have been LIVING for your videos. Found your channel weeks ago. You should now see my bathroom with all the new products I have bought. Keep up the great work! ❤️
I used to use vaseline to remove my eye and lip makeup as well. Apparently it works pretty well.
Can we just talk about Sidney and Cassandra beauty for a moment ?
1. I am always watching you when I do skincare
2. I NEVER forget my ears.
NEVER.
Always love your reaction videos! ❤
Also, SS is literally the face rep on Laneige's US website. Sooo... 🤔
Please, talk about acne rosacea. I suffer a lot from this condition and I'm sure there are many people like me, without knowing they have it.
Love u ❤️❤️
I agree with your comment on Vaseline! I have very dry skin so whenever I use anything with hyaluronic acid I put Vaseline on top of my I'm from honey glow cream to help keep the H.A. from causing transepidermal water loss!
Definitely look at the product called Abilene. It’s a make up remover balm cleanser that make up artist and drag queens use to remove all of their make up. Trixie Mattel has done a “de-drag” and shows us how well it works
gosh i'm still just waiting and praying for you to watch bridgerton and live stream it or something i NEED your big sister takes on all the beauty!
My mom has taken her eye make-up off with Vaseline, my whole life. She uses it first then cleanses with Neutrogena face wash. She doesn't mind if there's a slight residue, cuz ahe then put on a thin layer as a night mask. She just turned 62 and looks great.
The thing with Vaseline is that it clogs the pores around the eyes and normally the eye itself uncovers them after hours. With frequent use, the eye can stop uncovering it and cause infection. Probably your mom's immune system is very good and unclogs pores continuously, however she exposes herself to a very ugly infection
Laneige is like a super ordinary brand from korea. If u live in super dry places or happen to be experiencing very uncomfortable dryness,or living in a cooler country, korean products will work for u. But if ur on tropical countries… korean products,in general, tends to be more heavy/creamy/oily so… i would suggest to go with japanese products instead. But expect japanese products to be more expensive than korean products. Afterall, there’s a big difference in quality.
Re-watching this because I've been eyeing up the Solawave wand to see if it's something worth the money, especially since there are sales on. I shouldn't be spending money really but at the same time I don't wanna miss the sale season 😄😂
Also, I like that Sydney is listening to her body (i.e. skin in this case), like with the prescription cream. She noticed how her skin reacted and is applying it in a way that works, rather than just blindly doing what she's told.
Petition to have a Sidney Sweeny & Cassandra Bankson collab!!!
I was waiting for this sis !!!!!!! I already finished the whole bottle and I actually loved it . It leaves the skin soft and moist also a little shiny ✨ ❤️
We the people need a review of the brands that cost 2k+ dollars, Decorte, La Prairie
I've been using Vaseline (and later Aquaphor) as the last layer on my face at night for years...maybe as long as 40 years. (I have really dry skin from taking Accutane.) This year I'm trying Vanicream as my top layer at night during the warm weather months with Aquaphor only around my eyes. I find that Aquaphor is a little heavy all over my face at night in warmer weather. But it's great in the winter!
Gentable 😆 you had me dieing 😅
I work on my Walmart product ingredient comparison spreadsheet while watching your videos.
i don't think i have ever seen as georgeous woman as sydney is
I got the Dennis Gross pads because of her and when i tell you my skin is TRANSFORMED HONEY
Sydney seems like a really nice person. The make up removing process could be better, I think a cleansing balm would be a game changer for her.
Dr. Shereene reacted to her routine and i have also watched that..she is maybe doing everything in right order or what not but i cant get over the fact that this truly looks like a whole commercial for lineage 😂 literally she is brand's face... Its not even that to use 4 to 5 steps in your routine from same line from same brand its that she's their spokesperson
I learn so much from watching your videos, I really like your personality :)
I feel like she and I might have a similar skin type, though I have been diagnosed with rosacea. My derm prescribed epiduo for my acne, which worked but was too drying at first; I stucked it out as a spot treatment though, and my skin got used to it... Until like a month ago when I started having a really bad reaction. Rash-like angry red patches wherever I had applied the thing to.
Went back to just adapalene 0.1% all over.
Sensitive skin cysters have it rough.
Also, Vaseline for taking off makeup? Amazing! I wore a lot of heavy glam makeup when I was in cosmetology school and Vaseline got rid of the thickest, most resistant stuff without irritating my skin. After, you just take it off with a cotton pad and use your cleanser as normal and there's no residue.
I have very sensitive skin and use trentinoin. The only thing that's getting me through the long retinization period (I'm taking it slow) is the laneige cream skin toner & moisturizer, water bank moisturizer, sioris milk cleanser, and beauty of joseon rice cleansing bar. On nights I don't use trentinoin I use both moisturizers and add a thin layer of Vaseline all over, including my lips. Most times I skip my eyelids because it can be a bit much and it doesn't feel as good in the morning but it seems like it migrates a little while I sleep so I get a bit on there anyway. Sometimes when I need a little something extra during the day I use the sephora multipurpose jojoba oil, my legs in particular love when I mix it with a basic lotion.
PLEASE Talk about Rhode skincare soon!
I also use Vaseline as an eye cream!! I started getting horribly dry skin under my eyes where it was peeling and just... The worst experience... And this totally saved me!!
soooo fun to watch!!!!
I have not watched Euphoria yet, either Cassandra!! For the same reason as you….awkward lol 😆 love you, your advice is bomb 💣
Just don't watch it with your mom and it will be fine 😂
Yes morning burst, St. Ives, Neutrogena pink grapefruit.😂 Yes, I used neutrogena skin clearing makeup too! I found your channel when I was struggling with acne. I now oil cleanse with sweet almond oil but also havent worn face makeup in a looong time.
As someone who used to do makeup I can confirm that Petroleum Jelly / Vaseline can be used to soften and remove just about any makeup, including FX makeup.
Could you talk about the body shop? They have a tea tree line and the foaming cleanser + sleeping mask have really really helped me. Love from Brazil ❤️
I have been using Vaseline to remove my full fledged cut crease eye makeup and what not from eyes, it is very gentle, cleansing and nourishing!
PLEASEEE do a Rhode skincare line review!!!!!
I got an ad with Cassandra in it😂
I have used Vaseline to remove my eye makeup for 20 years, it's effective and gentle. 😁
New to this channel, and clearly, pretty late /.\ Needed an acne big cyster ages ago :(
It's never too late!
No. I can’t stand petrolatum to remove eye makeup! Too hard to remove and doesn’t loosen mascara very well. Not saying it won’t , there are just products that work so much better!
I use the COSRX overnight lip mask which has no fragrance or color added + has ceramides!! It’s greatly reduced the amount I need to use lip balm during the day 😘
I think the vaseline under the eyes after moisturizer is a great idea! I'm going to try it tonight. But, Cassandra id be afraid to do it every night and develop milia... Thoughts??
This happened to me
Love u casss and love you're patches 💞
i always do my skincare to your videos 😂😭💗
Dr Denis Gross, for the peelple😌
I no longer use eye cream because of you cassandra Bankson!!! I use moisturizer under my eyes and all over my face and Vaseline on top of everything! ❤
Would you still recomendable the Solawave??
You look extra beautiful in this video. You look great in that blue jacket
your hair loss has improved!!
I think you and her would be good friends!
Yes I do. Most of the time I do my night time routine while watching u and my night time routine is what it it is because of u ☺.
I need your reaction on new haileys rhode skincare lineeeee
Silk hair ties are great. They work. It is more $ and time to not use silk hair ties and silk anything, because you’re damaging your hair with satin or non silk hair ties as much
I love the laneige cica sleeping mask :)
Favorite sleep masks, both Cosrx Rice & Propolis masks!! Very affordable, hydrating & brightening!!💖💖💖
Hey love! I found you from Manes by Mell. Regarding the red light .. I own a tanning salon and have a full body red light bed. It is such a great healing tool for the skin. My clients love it. I personally use it and have seen a huge difference in my skin tone and texture. ❤️
I love her! ☺️🫶🏻
OMG Your school had steeldrum class? What other awesome things can you do. (I was a band geek since 4th grade and I never got beat in a challenge and I marched at Disneyland and did field show competitions and in college I went to Russia where I was accompanied by their orchestra and it was even televised! Oh what a geek I am!
Hi Cassandra, what do you think of the other Dennis Gross products? Also I believe this is a cosmeceutical brand? Can you make a video explaining the difference between cosmetics and cosmeceutical products as I am so overwhelmed. I saw a beauty therapist recently who recommended I only use cosmeceutical products. They are super costly and also contain fragrance which I thought I had to avoid with dry skin. hELP!
someone correct me if I'm wrong but laneige is South Korean and made with Korean sourced ingredients so doesn't that more or less say they're cruelty free even if they're not certified b/c of crazy strict Korean animal cruelty laws?
I use an under eye gel, instead of a cream. I really like it, plus it's fragrance free and doesn't have any kind of pigment to it. There's also an eye patch version of it, which I'm excited to try once I finish up my gel. :D
what's it called?
I have oily skin and I have been using Vaseline for maybe 4-5 months and it works fantastically, the best moisturizer that I have ever used. Maybe it works well, because I have a good cleanser. But still Vaseline is the best, even for oily skin
I have the same rash she’s talking about I literally was just freaking out about it
A dab of vaseline on a damp cotton pad does the trick for me :)
Aquafor is my LIFE, I don’t go anywhere without it!
I have a feeling you haven’t mentioned the outset because it’s actually really good and has nothing bad about it
You should do a review on Mary Kay skin care!!
She's using Laneige because she's a spokesperson for them. I hate when they do this. I can get a great "water" cream moisturizer from Bonajour for $17.00 that caters to different skin conditions. (The stuff is GOOD). Their other products are great also. And yeah, Amazon. I've been doing the Vasoline under eye "slugging" for years now & on the lips. It's awesome.
i loved this video so much 😍 can you please react to Shay Mitchells skincare video ?
I have heard about vaseline can grow eyelashes since I was in middle school. It is extremely popular around Asian. I did try it before but never being consistent. SO, I WOULD DEFINITELY WANT A VIDEO AROUND THE TRUTH ABOUT VASELINE.
I love that oat creamer!. It’s amazing! I’m a vegan too. 🌱🥑🥗🥦🍠🍎🍅
I had purchased Innisfree's green tea eye cream really long time because the idea was foreign and it felt bougie after I started applying it all over my face. Literally, didn't need an eye cream after that. Just used my moisturizer below my eyes. It worked.
Hey Cassie, I would take a look at the link for the peel. People in the reviews are saying that seller is selling dupes. Not sure how true though.
*Are you feeling ✨ EUPHORIC ✨ todayYy? .?*
hoping to see a sweet chef video sooooon☺️☺️☺️☺️
Will you please try hibar brand cleansers? Maybe youd want to try the shampoo & conditioners too. I know theyre bars and that that effects the strength of the formula, but think about it! Its sustainable, i feel like i cant find any sustainably sourced skincare. Not meaning just packaging, which is less important than ingredients being sustainably sourced. Pleeeasee and thank you! Also thank u for this video!
I’ve been trying to get the Face Reality acne wash, but it’s impossible to find! They don’t sell it directly on their site, and where it says to find one of their experts, no one has replied to me or they don’t sell it! Is there any way to just get it since it’s not directly sold on their website??
Video on all of the different smaller light devices for the face? Which ones are actually worth getting for treating acne? There's a lot out there that look promising, and it sounds like the one you mention in this video is a good option, but how would you compare it to other smaller devices/wands?
I used Vaseline for years to take my eye makeup off. I don’t wear makeup anymore but Vaseline is great!
You have to review billie eilishs night time skin care routine!!! She just posted it
