- Thank you all for the attention to detail and helping make me aware that I was not meeting the standard. There are a handful of reps at the beginning where my hand does move from the line before my second foot has made contact with the wall. Monday, I will redo the workout and make sure to hold the standard!
Noah’s confident (and generous to the community) for posting his workouts so quickly. Other top dogs wait and game it to try to keep an advantage. He’s a true baller. Also, love that he stuck around to cheer on the women’s heat in the 2018 Games marathon row. Class act

Did it today. Shoulders were goe after the 6 wall walk round. Time caped after 6 wall walks in the 15 wall walk round. Pretty ugly workout...

I've seen the Rich Froning 21.1 video. Thats why Rich is the Goat on Crossfit, he mantains his pace on all the time and never rest, in the other side, these pals trying to do it as fast as possible with some semi-reps (no reps).
I could be wrong but it looks like a lot of no reps on the wall walks. Looked like hand was moving before both feet were on the wall?

I can't find the standards on crossfits website. The link to download standard and scorecard only take me to the scorecard. Whats the rule with hand and the lines? And how far do the lines need to be from the wall?

Looked like Noah was moving his right hand early every rep.
EDIT: set of 9 he finally corrected it. But the first 3 rounds those were all super close to no reps lol

So yes a handful of his early reps were questionable at best, and most likely no-reps. I’m sure he’ll revisit the video and make his own judgements and adjustment. Guy is a good dude and a hell of an athlete.

@11:58 Can your feet come down to the floor after your body (knees and torso) touch the floor? Just asking couse I don't know, and dont want to see Noah get penalty when submitting his score.

Criticizing? I can imagine that Noah thinks with these poor judges that he did it well. But when he faces a real judge at CF Games he can do it. That why he always die on the try.

Oh dude the dubs are pretty close to irrelevant, it’s all about the wall walks. Break them up more than you need to - they are just a trap to get your shoulders on fire

Look josh is a very good athlete and I even did the CrossFit opens today but if u look at when he is on round 3 and 6 of the wall walks his right hand is leaving the line before his right foot is one the wall like all of those should be no reps
It clearly states that both feet must touch the wall before ur hands can leave the line
Almost all no reps in the beginning and numerous questionable reps the rest of the time. I am seeing this a lot where people are moving the hand just before the second foot touches the wall, makes a big difference. Not criticizing, just don't want people to get huge pings on their scores.

@@tlanthony82 hey now - he is right about the no reps, no biggie for Noah, he will get an even better time once he redoes it and cleans up the no reps, the dude is out of this world. If you ask about my time I didn’t finish it mate, but fought hard to get what I got! It’s a fun one

No rep mister. Just put the speed down to 0.5 and its perfectly clear that all reps until the set of 6 are no reps.
This is just the first attempt. I am sure they will review the video and redo the workout a couple more times.

Watch your right hand every time you initiate your feet aren't on the wall and it is moving off the tape.

Yes you can, so long as your feet don't hit the ground before your hands return to the front line.

kari is a freak when it comes to shoulder strength to weight ratio. she went unbroken strict hand stand push ups at the games when she didn’t have to
Gotta keep in mind the guys weigh a lot more and are taller. I saw a guy 6’5 250lbs do this workout earlier.
